Chapter 11: The Anger of the Sword Enthusiast
Inside the Ming Kong Residence, lanterns were lit and decorations adorned the place, creating a festive atmosphere. Many from the Martial Arts Community gathered to congratulate Huangfu Mingmo and Qiu Yuxia on their wedding. Representatives from the Famous Sword Society, Chen Liu, and Canglong Cave, Lin Bao, arrived simultaneously, their fierce glares at each other adding a tense atmosphere to the scene. Just as they were about to engage in battle, Yi Zhangzhi and Murong Yaoxian arrived.
Huangfu Mingmo displayed the grace of a Swordsman and stepped forward to exchange pleasantries with Yi Zhangzhi. Meanwhile, Murong Yaoxian entered the bride's room holding a newly purchased Cane. Seeing Murong Yaoxian enter, Qiu Yuxia, who was sitting in a wheelchair, quickly said, "It's you, Sister Murong! Are you here to give me a Cane?"
Murong Yaoxian replied, "Yes, you should use the Cane to slowly get accustomed to it. With time, perhaps you will recover." After saying this, she prepared to help Qiu Yuxia try walking with the Cane.
Qiu Yuxia said, "This matter cannot be rushed. Right now, I am worried that during the wedding ceremony, I will embarrass Mingmo like this."
Murong Yaoxian reassured her, "You don't need to worry about that. Huangfu Mingmo won't mind these things; he will be happiest just to marry you. By the way, the auspicious time is approaching. Upon hearing this, Yi Zhangzhi remarked, "Is it Sword Enthusiast Ai Qiu? Has he come for love?"
Seeing the newcomer, Huangfu Mingmo exclaimed, "It’s you! One of the Five Great Swordsmen of the Martial World, Sword Enthusiast Duliying! It’s been decades since we last met. I never expected you would appear on my wedding day. Are you here to congratulate me?"
At this moment, Qiu Yuxia felt an overwhelming sense of dread as she pulled down the Red Cloth covering her head. When she locked eyes with Duliying, there seemed to be unspoken feelings between them and an endless sense of regret.
The Sword Enthusiast slowly drew his sword from his back and addressed Qiu Yuxia: "Where are our vows from days gone by? Where are your unwavering promises? If I perish because of your betrayal, you shall become a soul beneath my sword." As he finished speaking, a drop of unwilling sweat fell onto the sword with a crisp sound that signaled an inevitable battle over lost love; even if his opponent was a disabled woman, a discarded man would show no mercy.
Huangfu Mingmo stepped forward for love; his Dragon Spring Treasure Sword soared into the air and cut through this unavoidable conflict. Duliying's sword summoned winds and clouds as he glared with hatred; with a resounding strike, he forced Ming Kong back and unleashed powerful energy around him. Many from the Martial Arts Community were injured by the residual sword energy, and Qiu Yuxia in her wheelchair was also in grave danger. At that moment, Yi Zhangzhi shouted coldly and swiftly swept his Dust Whisk to disperse the gloom and save Qiu Yuxia from peril.
Duliying initially displayed his ultimate skill, with the sword unleashing a torrent of dragon energy, powerful enough to roar forth and directly assault Huangfu Mingmo. The Sword God focused and prepared, the sword's momentum swirling as he executed his renowned move, One Sword to Level the Field, wielding unmatched vigor that surged forth like a force capable of splitting mountains. The two greatest Swordsmen of the age clashed their ultimate techniques, causing the ground to tremble, the sun and moon to dim, and the mountains and rivers to sway. Cracks appeared on the surface of Ming Kong Residence, and both combatants were knocked back. Incredibly, Huangfu Mingmo was gravely injured, kneeling on the ground.
Sword Enthusiast said, "Come again; let me experience your determination to marry Qiu Yuxia. If you cannot defeat me, what right do you have to marry her, let alone protect her?"
Upon hearing this, Huangfu Mingmo rallied himself, sealing his acupoints with one hand while using the other to lean on his sword as he slowly stood up. He said, "Sword Enthusiast, do not be arrogant; take this!" With that, Huangfu Mingmo gathered energy within himself and channeled it into his sword. A fierce sword aura shot out towards Duliying. In an instant, Sword Enthusiast executed his famous move, *For Love's Obsession*, unleashing a strike that shook the world. The two techniques collided again, resulting in a spray of blood that shot into the air, leaving only regret behind. Huangfu Mingmo fell once more, heavily wounded and unable to move. However, Sword Enthusiast's target was not Huangfu Mingmo; when he could no longer fight back, Sword Enthusiast began to attack Qiu Yuxia.
Yi Zhangzhi said, "Duliying, you must remain calm."
Before Yi Zhangzhi could continue speaking, a fierce sword strike was already upon him. In the midst of their intertwining figures, Yi Zhangzhi launched a counterattack. Unfortunately, all of Sword Enthusiast's fury transformed into battle intent; Yi Zhangzhi's Dust Whisk was severed, leaving him to fight barehanded. The relentless sword style left Yi Zhangzhi gasping for breath as he faced perilous situations.
Qiu Yuxia, having drawn her sword from her wheelchair, prepared for a life-or-death battle against Sword Enthusiast. Seeing her beloved in danger, Murong Yaoxian rushed in to help. However, as a woman with insufficient inner strength and skill in swordsmanship, she could only face defeat against Sword Enthusiast. After three moves, Murong Yaoxian was injured and fell.
Seeing that Sword Enthusiast was merciless in battle, Yi Zhangzhi had no choice but to respond with violence. He drew his sword and engaged in combat with Sword Enthusiast. As the battle resumed, Yi Zhangzhi combined yin and yang in his swordplay, employing techniques that seized control of the battlefield. Recognizing that Yi Zhangzhi was taking their duel seriously, Sword Enthusiast temporarily suppressed his desire to kill Qiu Yuxia, focusing entirely on dealing with Yi Zhangzhi. The energy from Duliying's sword surged forth like a tidal wave as he absorbed the light of the sun and moon into an unmatched sphere of light on his blade. With a force capable of collapsing mountains and shattering peaks, it swept forward. When the techniques from the Taoist Sect met with the new style from Sword Enthusiast, a tremendous explosion occurred at the scene; a crater formed as energy erupted forth. Several members of the Martial Arts Community, unable to evade in time, perished tragically. Simultaneously, Yi Zhangzhi was struck by the shockwave and suffered injuries that caused him to bleed. After being pushed back several steps by the impact, Sword Enthusiast also had blood trickling from his mouth due to minor injuries.
The battle was far from over; Sword Enthusiast continued his relentless assault with his sword raised high. With no choice but to resist with his own blade, Yi Zhangzhi engaged in close combat where every move aimed for life or death. Moments later, due to being outmatched by Sword Enthusiast, wounds appeared on Yi Zhangzhi, marked by long and narrow cuts from the latter's blade.
Unwilling to accept defeat so easily, Yi Zhangzhi planted his sword into the ground and channeled Buddhist-style energy through his palms. A powerful surge of energy gathered at his hands for a devastating strike aimed at defeating the crazed opponent before him. Not one to back down easily, Sword Enthusiast summoned lightning from above as he soared through the clouds; bolts of thunder shot toward Yi Zhangzhi. The clash of energies created a scene that shocked both heaven and earth; however, despite this display of power, Yi Zhangzhi found himself outmatched once more and was struck by a bolt of lightning that caused him to faint instantly. Seeing this unfold, Murong Yaoxian immediately took action and carried away Yi Zhangzhi from the battlefield.
With both Huangfu Mingmo injured and Yi Zhangzhi unconscious, other members of the Martial Arts Community had already discreetly left the scene. Only half-paralyzed Qiu Yuxia remained before her beloved's shadow; she sealed her acupoint with her hand. Approaching her side, Sword Enthusiast pressed down on her acupoint and said: "Those who break their vows are unworthy of marrying again; if you plead for mercy from me now, I might consider sparing your life."
Qiu Yuxia: "I will not plead for mercy; it is I who owe you this debt; if you wish to kill me, then do so."
Duliying: "If that's how it is, then I shall make my move." With that statement finished, a wave of sword energy struck towards Huangfu Mingmo. The fallen figure of Huangfu Mingmo, hit by this forceful energy blast, was sent flying several dozen feet away before he coughed up blood again.
Seeing this unfold before her eyes, Qiu Yuxia: "Stop! If you wish to kill someone, come at me instead; he has nothing to do with this."
Sword Enthusiast said, "What does it have to do with him? The real culprit behind all this is him. If it weren't for him, how could you have fallen for someone else? If it weren't for him, how could your vows to me have changed? Now I will kill him in front of you to vent my anger."
Qiu Yuxia, in order to prevent Huangfu Mingmo from dying at Duliying's hands, finally pleaded, "I beg you, spare him. I promise you, I will not marry him. Take me away."
Upon hearing this, Sword Enthusiast replied, "Very well, this is what you said yourself. Since you are willing to abandon him, I don't mind leaving him a worthless life. Let's go." With that, Sword Enthusiast pushed Qiu Yuxia and slowly walked out of Ming Kong Residence.
Not long after the two left Ming Kong Residence, a scorching sword aura struck the residence. Flames suddenly erupted around Huangfu Mingmo, engulfing the entire Ming Kong Residence. The happiness that was so close was once again snatched away from him, and his home was burned by his rival. This hatred was deeply imprinted in his heart, and he secretly vowed: he would not rest until he killed Sword Enthusiast and Duliying.
In the wilderness, the leader of the Black Design Society, Gao Jianli, personally intercepted Jing Ke and Hua Mulan. The sword light was cold and the eyes were blurred; in an instant, the battle had begun. Jing Ke drew his long sword and fought fiercely against Gao Jianli. Once master and disciple, now turned enemies, this was a confrontation of emotions and righteousness destined to end in tragedy. The sound of swords clashing echoed in all directions as powerful palm energies clashed across the battlefield. This reluctant battle told of their past affections but also of their painful separation. Injured, Jing Ke could only seek a quick resolution against the leader of the Black Design Society. He lured with his long sword while preparing a dagger for a decisive strike against Gao Jianli. However, Gao Jianli knew Jing Ke very well; such tricks were nothing but illusions in his eyes.
The dagger attack failed, and internal injuries flared up within Jing Ke, causing him to spit blood. Gao Jianli said, "You are at your wits' end now, let me send you on your way." With that, he lunged forward with his sword aimed at taking a life. In that critical moment, Hua Mulan stepped forward to block the attack; her sword pierced downwards, penetrating her entire body, causing the heroine to faint instantly.
Seeing this, Jing Ke, despite his injuries, gathered his energy and unleashed a sweeping sword aura as a powerful gust surged around them. He quickly carried Hua Mulan away. But how could Gao Jianli allow a traitor to escape from under his nose? He used his exceptional lightness skill to chase after them swiftly.
When Jing Ke reached Jingyue Waterfall, carrying the injured Hua Mulan, Gao Jianli arrived just in time. "Jing Ke, if you return to the Black Design Society, I might still forgive your past mistakes. You are already at a dead end; why ruin your assassin career for a woman?"
Jing Ke did not want to say more; he leaped into the air and plunged towards the bottom of the waterfall. Seeing this, Gao Jianli was astonished and said, "You would rather die than return to the Black Design Society. No, there must be something strange about this Jingyue Waterfall. Even Yi Zhangzhi and Nightmare Demon survived jumping from here. I should go check out the Qingming Riverbank." With that, he quickly headed towards the Qingming Riverbank.

At that moment, a servant from the Sima Family Village entered the bride's room intending to take care of her in place of Sima Qian. Seeing this, Bu Xiuru screamed out loud for help: "Help!"
Sima Qian left and returned, striking the servant on the back, then dragged him out to beat him up, saying, "You dare to touch my woman? It seems you are tired of living."
At that moment, Sima Guan arrived and asked, "What is going on?"
Sima Qian did not want to say much and directly entered the room, closing the door behind him. Inside the room, Sima Qian said, "Although I don't want to touch you, I won't allow anyone else to." He then embraced Bu Xiuru, whose face was filled with tears.
Bu Xiuru found some comfort in Sima Qian's arms and unexpectedly leaned in to kiss him, igniting Sima Qian's original desires. The two became unable to stop themselves and soon consummated their relationship.
In the dense forest, Zhu Yingtai and Lustful Man - Peculiar Observation quietly admired the night view. Suddenly, a sword aura shot through the air, targeting Lustful Man. Lustful Man turned around to block it and shouted, "Who dares to ambush me? Show yourself!" Then, a serious-looking Swordsman descended; it was Yu Yunhai.
Yu Yunhai said, "Lustful Man, you must pay for what you did to Yuehua."
Murong Yaoxian carried the unconscious Yi Zhangzhi to Dreaming Medical Pavilion seeking medical help. At the same time, Zhuge Kongming in Dreaming Medical Pavilion saw that Murong Yaoxian was safe and was overjoyed. He quickly approached Murong Yaoxian and tightly embraced the person he had been longing for day and night. Murong Yaoxian struggled but could not break free, saying, "Young Master Zhuge, please have some self-respect."
