Chapter 286: I've Been Waiting for You for a Long Time
Although the War Clan helped Sun Zhe significantly improve his cultivation, he was still far from being on par with powerful figures like Bai Qi. Mount Tai was located within Qi Kingdom's territory; however, Qi Kingdom did not border Qin State. Therefore, reaching Qin State from Qi Kingdom required passing through Han Kingdom. Under Sun Zhe's full-speed efforts, he reached the border of Qi Kingdom in just one hour. Yet as soon as he stepped into Han Kingdom's territory, a towering wall of fire suddenly appeared before him.
The emergence of this fire wall was extremely abrupt; even Sun Zhe had no warning. The fire wall rose from the ground, but it did not burn spontaneously; within those flames were ancient trees towering over a thousand feet high that burned with an eerie Blue Flame. An astonishing power surged from these flames; although this Blue Flame could not compare to Jingjing's Vermilion Bird Fire, it was still incredibly formidable.
Sun Zhe's gaze sharpened as two piercing beams of light shot forth from his eyes. Just as his body was about to collide with that fire wall, he swung his right sleeve forward with great force. A Purple Whirlwind surged toward the fire wall with tremendous power; however, there were no signs of it breaking apart as Sun Zhe quickly retreated using the rebound force.
Before Sun Zhe could exit this area completely, three other walls of flame erupted from three different directions simultaneously—each towering over a thousand feet high and burning with intense Blue Flames that radiated an astonishing heat. It felt as if even the surrounding air was igniting.
In an instant, Sun Zhe found himself surrounded by four walls of fire; their towering height made it impossible for him to leap out in such a short time. It was evident that someone had deliberately plotted against him. Realizing this, Sun Zhe's expression darkened significantly.
Thunderous Roar……
Before Sun Zhe could react, the wall of fire charged towards him at an alarming speed. Four walls of fire collided from four directions, the roaring sound replacing all other noises in the vicinity. The entire space was engulfed in endless flames, transforming it into a fiery hell. The speed of the fire walls was astonishing, closing in on Sun Zhe in the blink of an eye.
Sun Zhe's expression darkened; escaping from above was no longer an option. His gaze shifted to the ground, but at that moment, the originally yellow earth turned pitch black. Under the firelight, a metallic sheen reflected ominously, indicating that the escape route underground had been sealed off!
"You will pay for this!"
Having just emerged from War Clan territory only to be ambushed, Sun Zhe's fury was palpable. His eyes were filled with overwhelming Killing Intent. He extended his right hand, and the eight-foot-long Ancient Bell Blade appeared in his grasp. Amidst the storm, a young man dressed in a burlap robe slowly emerged, gripping a Black Long Knife, with traces of blood at the corner of his mouth and a grim expression on his face.

A Cold Voice echoed across the plain, seemingly imbued with some kind of Divine Technique, causing it to reverberate as if resonating in a Mountain Valley, echoing repeatedly without end.
After some time without any figures appearing, Sun Zhe's expression grew even colder. Without hesitation, he swung his knife towards one direction; the black Sword Qi instantly transformed into a roaring black dragon that surged forward, reaching over a hundred feet in an instant.
"I... will not... boom!"
A voice rang out—one belonging to a woman—but the black energy dragon continued unabated as it surged through her body. Blood-red light splattered as her delicate form crumbled under its force. The black energy dragon pressed on relentlessly until it struck against another barrier.
"Do you really think I would make the same mistake twice?"
At the beginning, it was because Sun Zhe was determined to rush to the Qin State that he inadvertently stumbled into a trap set by an array.
