Putting down the carving knife, Daniel looked at the staff he had crafted with great joy. It had been three years since he decided to learn Alchemy, and after tremendous effort, he finally managed to refine the Lava Heart into a staff.
In fact, with his talent, he could have used the Lava Heart to create a staff much earlier; he just felt that his alchemical abilities could improve further, so he didn't rush into making it.
After all, he had spent the last two years in the academy focusing on his studies, so there was no need to hurry to create a staff that wouldn't be of much use.
After these years of learning, he believed that in terms of Alchemy, he had surpassed even Angus.
His strength had grown rapidly over the years; his Mental Power had increased from 40 points to 80 points, barely qualifying him as a peak Wizard Apprentice.
With 80 points of Mental Power, he was capable of using Green Water to advance to a Formal Wizard. Although doing so would come with significant side effects, becoming a Formal Wizard was not something a Wizard Apprentice could compare to.
Thus, Wizard Apprentices with 80 points of Mental Power were referred to as Preparatory Wizards, holding a vastly different status within the academy.
Who would have thought that Daniel only took six years to become a Preparatory Wizard?
At this moment, looking at the short staff in his hand, Daniel was filled with joy. It was custom-made for him, measuring 4 centimeters in length and entirely crafted from Lava Heart, with Mithril wrapped around it and runes painted on the surface.
The middle section was specifically designed with a frosted texture, making it comfortable to hold and preventing slipping.
At the top was embedded a round Fire Crystal. This was not an ordinary Fire Crystal; it was a high-grade Fire Crystal formed over thousands of years in the deepest part of the fire crystal mine, where the fire elements were most concentrated.
He had found this treasure in the academy's warehouse; each one was worth over ten thousand Magic Stones. However, since he was a Wizard Seed, he only spent three thousand Magic Stones to acquire it.
Inside it stored a vast amount of fire elements and could slowly absorb fire elements from the air after its internal supply was depleted.
Daniel carved the "Blazing Firestorm" Magic Array above, capable of instantly emitting intense flames when needed, scorching everything within a ten-meter radius. No one could withstand such heat.
The base was narrower and also engraved with a Magic Array. When he activated the Magic Levitation Staff, it could launch sharp spikes to attack enemies.
Although the attack range was not very far, the power was substantial enough to inflict great damage on any enemy attempting to attack him.
Moreover, it was very discreet; one would hardly notice it if they weren't paying attention.
It was simply perfect for him.
After examining his work, Daniel began crafting other Magical Items. He had already planned out a complete set: a staff, two Bracers, a Belt, and a pair of boots, all made from Lava Heart mixed with other materials. He had maximized the utility of the Lava Heart.
Perhaps throughout the entire history of the academy, very few people possessed such luxurious equipment.
Once he finished refining all the Magical Items and donned them, he felt transformed; the overwhelming sense of power in his every movement was intoxicating.
No wonder Reirfu liked to wear his full set of equipment even during ordinary times; that feeling was simply exhilarating, as if he had gained the power to devastate the world.
Taking them off brought an indescribable sense of loss that no one wanted to experience.
After two hours of busy work, once all the Magical Items were completed, Daniel finally emerged from the alchemy room. What greeted his eyes was a group of naked Minotaurs running around joyfully playing, and he couldn't help but shake his head.
This was the camp of the Bullman Knight Order, which also served as his residence at the academy. The entire Bullman Knight Order was at his service; he only had to give a command for anything to be taken care of.
Initially, according to his plan, he intended to use in vitro fertilization to cultivate a batch of Minotaurs and form the Bullman Knight Order once they grew up.
However, plans often change unexpectedly. When he began implementing his plan and the Minotaurs were born, Daniel suddenly realized there was an error in his plan.
A Minotaur needs to spend over a decade to grow up, and he is already on the verge of becoming a wizard, ready to break through with the help of Green Water and become a full-fledged wizard.
However, the Minotaur is only three years old now, and it will take him another decade or so to become a Minotaur Knight. By that time, he would have already broken through to become a wizard, while he would still have a group of Minotaurs with only Wizard Apprentice-level combat power. What use would that be?
At most, they could assist him; in a real fight, he could easily wipe them out with one hand. Compared to the resources currently being consumed, the help they could provide is negligible.
The plan has already begun to be implemented, and the resources that needed to be spent have mostly been exhausted. Daniel can only grit his teeth and continue.
Seeing him come out, a group of Minotaurs hurried over and respectfully bowed to him.
"My lord, do you have any orders?"
Just as Daniel was about to speak, a massive shadow fell from the sky, accompanied by a faint rumble and powerful magical fluctuations.
Daniel couldn't help but look up and saw two enormous Floating Ships flying overhead, heading who knows where.
He frowned slightly; the Flame Throne Wizard Academy, as a large institution, indeed possessed Floating Ships but rarely used them.
Flying in the air consumes an enormous amount of magical power. Even with the academy's resources, they wouldn't dare waste it casually. He wondered what had happened this time that required the mobilization of two Floating Ships at once.
These two gigantic Floating Ships looked similar to ordinary sailing ships but were exquisitely crafted, with countless runes engraved on their hulls. They also had sails on top that billowed in the wind, swelling up as they caught the breeze.
Sailing through the air was akin to gliding over a calm lake, only much faster. By the time Daniel snapped out of his daze, they had already disappeared from view.
Daniel found it strange; given his status in the academy, he had not received any news about this situation yet, which made him frown.
Not wanting to dwell on it further, Daniel donned his Wizard Robe with the assistance of a Fox Girl nearby and prepared to head to the academy. The materials he had were nearly depleted, so it seemed he would need to procure another batch from the academy's warehouse.
These Fox Girls were purchased with the help of Reirfu. According to his standards, as a man, if he can't even find a few women to vent his frustrations with, can he still consider himself a man?
Daniel could only accept this with a bitter smile, but they were indeed very useful.
The Fox Girls had excellent figures, graceful postures, and captivating gazes. They were also very intelligent, knowing what to do and what not to do. There probably weren't any better options than these Fox Girls.
At least, when the several Minotaur beauties from the Minotaur Tribe broke ten cups in one go, Daniel thought so.
He still kept those Minotaur beauties there without touching them at all.
It wasn't that he suddenly transformed into a different person; it was just that he had no appetite. The Minotaur beauties had muscles so large that their chests were hardly visible and sported bull heads that could easily resemble the figure of a king of hell without makeup. Who would have an appetite for that?
When Daniel returned to the academy, he planned to hand over the potions he had refined over the past few days to Furnal for sale. As for the Magical Items he had ruined during his practice, Daniel thought for a moment and decided to take those along as well.
Although they were ruined and not perfect, they could still be considered decent Magical Items, and at least there were more people interested in buying them.
"Products from the professor are guaranteed to be high quality." This statement was not just for show; many people were eager to purchase them.
