Leaving the hospital, Qiluo Ling returned to her residence. She set down her bag and walked straight to her desk, pulling out a letter from the second drawer. This letter was one she had received a few days earlier. 0

After receiving the letter, Qiluo Ling did not open it immediately; instead, she placed it at the bottom of the drawer. She vaguely guessed that the contents of this letter were related to her search for the score of Demonic Music. Perhaps she wasn't mentally prepared enough to open it; she preferred old things, old people, as they represented safety and comfort, seemingly unwilling to part with those she loved. 0

But starting today, she had to embark on a new journey in search of new hope. All past pains would be buried in that bottomless valley. So now was the time to open this letter. 0

It was a medium-sized envelope with a white background and blue edges, addressed to 618 Jianguo West Road, Shanghai, which was a letter forwarded to her from the Polish Consulate General in Shanghai. 0

Qiluo Ling carefully opened the envelope with a utility knife. Inside was another letter; opening the light blue stationery revealed a faint scent of ink, with black printed text in both Chinese and English jumping onto the page. 0

Qiluo Ling read it carefully. 0

To dear Miss Qiluo Ling: 0

On behalf of Mr. Mice, O'Hara Law Firm is writing to you regarding Mr. Mice's will. We hope you can come personally to Poland to handle this matter. 0

Sincerely, 0

O'Hara Law Firm 0

Office Address: 62 Old Town Market Square, Warsaw 0

Setting down the letter, Qiluo Ling fell into deep thought. This letter was far beyond her expectations; she never anticipated that a will would mention her. Who was Mr. Mice? Why did he reference her in his will? 0

If she guessed correctly, her identity as the Devil's Music Inheritor had already been leaked, and perhaps it had reached Poland in a short time. Who leaked this information was not important; after all, there are no walls that do not let the wind through. 0

At the same time, everything has two sides; having more people know about her seemed beneficial for finding the Music score but also brought endless danger and trouble. 0

That afternoon, Qiluo Ling went to the Polish Consulate General in Shanghai to inquire about visa matters. 0

Next to the consulate were many large and small consulting companies regarding travel visas. Qiluo Ling randomly chose one called Jinmei and walked in. 0

It is more accurate to describe it as a small shop rather than a company. The place is empty, with only two simple desks and a few wooden stools. On the desks, there are some documents and a business card holder. 0

There are very few people inside, just a Young Girl consulting with the staff. 0

Qiluo Ling patiently stands behind her, waiting for the girl's consultation to finish. When the staff sees her, they gesture for her to find a place to sit. 0

The Young Girl is a graduate student attending an academic conference in Poland, applying for a business visa. From their conversation, it seems that all the documents are ready except for a bank statement from within the last six months. The girl has obviously been there several times before, and now she faces another delay due to the bank statement issue, showing an annoyed expression and appearing quite unhappy. The Young Girl asks questions for quite some time before finishing. 0

When it's Qiluo Ling's turn, the staff briefly asks about her stay in Poland and the letter from the law firm. They suggest that Qiluo Ling apply for a tourist visa, which has simpler procedures and is faster. 0

Qiluo Ling takes notes on all the procedures for the tourist visa, grabs a business card from the consulting company, and prepares to go home to gather these materials. 0

As she exits the Visa Agency, Qiluo Ling suddenly notices that the Young Girl is still standing outside, seemingly waiting for someone. 0

Seeing Qiluo Ling come out, Young Girl approaches her, extends her right hand, and smiles as she says, "Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Liu Shiran. You know, at home we rely on our parents, but when we go out we rely on friends. We should definitely go to Poland together; we can keep each other warm and company." 0

Qiluo Ling shakes her hand and smiles slightly as she replies, "Nice to meet you too. My name is Qiluo Ling." 0

"How are you getting home?" 0

"I'm planning to take the subway from the station up ahead," Qiluo Ling points straight ahead. 0

"I drove here; I can give you a ride since I'm not busy," Liu Shiran says enthusiastically. 0

"Okay then." 0

Qiluo Ling gets into the car and sits in the passenger seat. 0

In stark contrast to her earlier enthusiasm, Liu Shiran appears particularly silent during the drive, tightly closing her lips and not saying a word while gazing blankly at the cityscape outside. 0

Clearly, Liu Shiran seems unhappy and is upset about something; this conclusion can be drawn without much observation. However, Qiluo Ling does not know whether what is bothering Liu Shiran has anything to do with her. She quietly reviews her own words and actions from earlier; they were appropriate and did not cause any offense. It is evident that she is not the reason for Liu Shiran's displeasure. 0

Qiluo Ling is very perceptive. When a person doesn't want to talk, you should give them enough space; otherwise, it will have the opposite effect. 0

After about ten minutes, Qiluo Ling's place quickly came into view. It was just around the corner from a bustling commercial street in the city center. 0

Liu Shiran slowly parked the car on a nearby side street. 0

As Qiluo Ling prepared to get out, she was about to thank her. But before she could say anything, Liu Shiran spoke up. 0

"I have a question I want to ask you." 0

"What question?" Qiluo Ling asked. 0

"Is a woman who has a fiancé but still wants to meet and sleep with other men a bad woman? Or is she just inherently a **** woman?" Liu Shiran said with a mocking expression, running her right hand through her hair. Qiluo Ling noticed a small, exquisite ring on Liu Shiran's ring finger. 0

Qiluo Ling fell silent, unsure of what to say. 0

"Can you sit with me in the car for a while?" Liu Shiran pleaded. 0

Reluctantly, Qiluo Ling stayed in the car for a little longer. 0

The black car window opened just an inch wide, and the noisy street was filled with the latest pop music, produced like instant noodles from the music workshop for people to use anytime and anywhere. The chaotic sounds flooded into the car from all around. 0

"Do you have a lover?" Liu Shiran asked. 0

Qiluo Ling nodded. 0

"When you have a lover, do you think about other men?" Liu Shiran asked. 0

Qiluo Ling shook her head. 0

"What do you love about him?" 0

Qiluo Ling thought for a long time but could not accurately express the reasons for loving Choi Jae-sun. All she could recall were fragments of music. The beautiful, haunting melodies lingered in her chest, pressing against her heart, and the pain made it impossible for her to continue thinking. 0

"Are you going to Poland to meet other men?" Qiluo Ling had to change the subject. 0

"Not entirely. I'm mainly going to Poland for an international academic conference, and I'll also meet him. He isn't exactly a stranger; we actually met five years ago. Due to various reasons, we couldn't be together, and now we all feel regret when we look back. This trip is also a way to fulfill a dream," Liu Shiran said lightly. 0

"Then why are you going to Poland?" Liu Shiran asked. 0

"I'm going to handle some music-related matters," Qiluo Ling replied calmly. 0

"Music? I love music," Liu Shiran said. 0

"Oh, really?" Qiluo Ling glanced at her watch, not wanting to continue the topic, and then said, "I think I should go. I'll leave you my number. Once my visa is approved, we'll get in touch, okay?" 0

Liu Shiran nodded, and they exchanged phone numbers before parting ways. 0

Back at her place, Qiluo Ling pulled back the curtains; outside was still the unchanged cityscape. 0

The bustling streets and busy crowds, with cars and boats constantly moving, showcased a vibrant transportation scene. Overlooking the world, everything still and in motion was busy beyond belief. In this era where everyone was desperately running, no one was willing to stop and think seriously about finding the meaning and mission of life. 0

The towering buildings, the customs clock tower, the iconic structures of Lujiazui, the densely packed high-end office buildings, and the distant low roar of ferries made the glass windows tremble slightly. The gentle sunlight illuminated the light green river surface, reflecting a warm yet cold glow. 0

These scenes made her feel as if she lived in a wonderful era. However, peeling away this colorful and dazzling illusion, what was left in this world? Perhaps only an extremely impoverished spiritual world and a frail soul remained. It seemed that there were only chaotic notes in the world, with no harmonious melody. 0
