In the maintenance shaft, Shen Yuan grabbed a hanging cable with one hand and picked up a Semi-Automatic Pistol with the other.
He adjusted his position and direction, quickly peering through the crack of the wooden door of the maintenance shaft to survey the outside.

Two seconds later, he heard hurried footsteps along with shouts and curses, followed by the sound of someone kicking the door. Clearly, someone was trying to block him by kicking the stairway door!
Bang bang bang!
A gunshot rang out, and someone shouted, "Wolf Head! No one!"
"Damn it, that kid got away! Chase him!" Wolf Head yelled.
Then hurried footsteps were heard, clearly indicating that Wolf Head and his men were pursuing someone in a certain direction.
"It's time!"
Shen Yuan directly slammed open the door to the maintenance shaft, then aimed at the nearest person, firing a steel ball that pierced through his throat.
Then two more steel balls took down the second and third targets.
Shen Yuan fired continuously, forcing Wolf Head to retreat with his one-meter tall Wolfdog into the stairwell.
Shen Yuan did not pursue but returned to the maintenance shaft, using all his strength to climb up along the cable.
As long as he had enough strength, this vertical climb was even faster than going up stairs.
Shen Yuan reached the upper floor first, emerging from the maintenance shaft. He heard the sound of gunfire—bang, bang, bang—while Wei Luhe was guarding between two stairwell doors, with no one coming up.
"There's still one more person, a wolf!" Shen Yuan raised his Slingshot.
