Time flew by during the conversation, and soon it was lunchtime.
Fair Connie looked at the time on her wristband and suddenly smiled, saying, "Alright, it's almost time for lunch. Today I'm treating you all to a special meal."
Fairleia glanced at the current group and hesitated a bit, but was grabbed by Kairou Marie, who said, "You little girl, why are you hesitating when the Dean of Academic Affairs is treating you? Come on, let's go together!"
Fairleya couldn't find a reason to refuse and had no choice but to follow everyone to Fair Connie's house.

Kairou Marie held Fairleya's right hand and Kairuot's left hand as the three followed Fair Connie to her home. As they walked, she chattered, "You kids really don't understand. The Dean of Academic Affairs is treating you, and you don't appreciate it. That's just unacceptable."
Although Fair Connie lived alone, her house was quite large. It was a duplex with an upper and lower floor; the lower level had a living room, dining room, and gym, while the upper level contained bedrooms, a study, and a dressing room. Even though she didn't employ any specialized robots, she kept her home spotless, showcasing her competence.
Fair Connie led them to a large round table in the dining room. On the table were a big bowl of prepared dough and another bowl filled with mixed meat and vegetables.
Kairou Marie and Fairleya were unsure what these two bowls were for. Fairleya looked at Fair Connie in confusion and asked, "Are these all raw ingredients? Do we eat them like this?"
Fair Connie smiled and replied, "These are the materials for making dumplings. You can't eat them directly; we need to make them by hand first and then boil them before eating."
Kairuot recognized that they were making dumplings and was thrilled: "We're having dumplings today! Dumplings are my favorite food on Earth."
"I heard that Earth is a wild place; do they have flour there?" Fairleya asked in surprise.
"My father said it was brought over from Mars. Since we ran out of flour, we haven't had dumplings for a long time. I've mentioned wanting to eat dumplings to my aunt multiple times, but she didn't know what dumplings were, so she couldn't make them for me. It's great that we can have dumplings today," Kairuot said.
"This is something from Earth; today I'm going to make it for everyone," Fair Connie began rolling out the dough. When Kairuot reached out to grab the dough, Fair Connie swatted his hand away, saying, "Go wash your hands first before you can wrap them."
This scene momentarily made Kairuot feel a sense of déjà vu. Without thinking much, he obediently ran over to the faucet to wash his hands.
After Kairuot and the others washed their hands, they came to the table. Fairleia and Kairou Marie held the dumpling wrappers, unsure of how to proceed, and were about to ask Fair Connie how to wrap the dumplings when Kairuot skillfully wrapped one up.
The dumpling Kairuot made looked like a piece of art, or rather, like a plump leaf. They couldn't believe that Kairuot's hands were so deft. Then Kairuot wrapped up a second one.
Fairleia and Kairou Marie both shouted for Kairuot to be their master and teach them how to wrap dumplings. Kairuot patiently taught them step by step.
Watching Fairleia and Kairuot so close together, with their barriers gone, Fair Connie felt particularly happy in her heart.
This special dumpling lunch was something she had carefully planned and arranged; she just hadn't expected Kairou Marie to join in.
Kairou Marie was also quite cunning; she could see that Kairuot really liked Fairleia, and she did everything she could to bring them together. She made an excuse to go do something else in the kitchen, leaving just the two of them to wrap dumplings, which filled her heart with joy. The adults' plan seemed to be working; everyone enjoyed this special dumpling feast, and all previous tensions vanished in an instant.
