Despite Mars having entered an era of advanced civilization, the Mars Alliance School still places a high emphasis on martial arts training, believing it to be a reflection of an individual's true energy and abilities.
Martians are a humanity that values martial arts. Before entering the Mars Civilization era, their Martial Arts Competition was quite popular. Almost every Territory of the Clan has a Martial Arts Arena, and whenever there are significant martial arts events, practitioners eagerly participate, hoping to achieve rankings that bring honor to their families and make a name for themselves.
Anyone who ranks in competitions earns the respect and admiration of the people, and those who are Martial Arts Masters are especially revered by Martians. They have many fans and are held in high esteem.
Therefore, the Mars Alliance School considers martial arts assessments an important required course for student advancement. In addition to theoretical written exams, each student must also pass practical competition tests in the designated Mars Alliance Admission Arena to advance.
Martial arts competitions are more acceptable for boys, while girls often find them more challenging. Many girls struggle with their advancement due to these martial arts competitions. As a result, there are almost no outstanding girls at Mars Alliance School.
Although Fairleya excels in many areas, she has stumbled in the martial arts competition exam. Many at the school believe that she will need at least five years to defeat the robots set up in the arena.
Hearing others' discussions, Fairleya paid no mind; she quietly practiced daily with Kairuot in the Golden Tower.
With only two weeks left until the Upgrade Competition, time passed day by day, leaving Fairleya feeling uncertain. After finishing her practice one day and having dinner, she took a solitary walk.
The Mars Alliance School's Admission Arena is located on the eastern side of the school. It is a beautiful arena adjacent to the sea, surrounded by flourishing flowers and trees.
Near the seaside, the school has built the world's largest Marine Sports Competition Facilities, including the Sailing Arena, Rowing Arena, and Marine Sports Arena. This venue serves as the site for marine sports examinations at Mars Alliance School and is also a renowned location for sports competitions on Mars.
On the land by the seaside, the Mars Alliance School has built an Athletic Track specifically for student sports competitions, along with facilities such as soccer and basketball fields.
She walked along a path lined with evergreen trees leading to the school's teaching building, observing the carefully trimmed green plants shaped like various animals and plants scattered around the different sports venues. She had no mood to appreciate them at all. This path is usually loved by faculty and students for leisure walks, but now, in the dimming twilight, there were no more people strolling.
Unconsciously, she found herself in front of a giant oval building resembling a bird's nest; right before her was the entrance to the Martial Arts Arena.
The Martial Arts Arena is most striking during the day. Viewed from above, this giant oval structure looks like a huge pearl embedded by the seaside, shining brightly.
The Martial Arts Arena is quite large, with four floors. The first and second floors are for youth competitions, while the third and fourth floors are for young adult competitions. Within the youth and young adult competition areas, there are separate upgrade halls for lower grades, middle grades, and upper grades.
The arena is fully managed by intelligent systems, with very few staff members present. As long as they are students of Mars Alliance School, they can enter freely using their Wristbands or facial recognition.
Students can choose to compete against robots at their respective levels in the Arena based on their grade and competition status. They can also sit in the seats surrounding the Arena to watch others compete and learn martial arts skills.
Fairleya stood at the entrance of the Martial Arts Arena without going inside when Kairuot approached her and asked, "Why aren't you going in?"
Fairleya felt embarrassed to express her concerns about her martial arts skills; she simply frowned and sighed.
Kairuot then unceremoniously pulled Fairleya's hand and said, "Come on, I'll accompany you to practice."
From that day on, accompanied by Kairuot, they would always train at Golden Tower in the mornings and practice at Martial Arts Arena until late at night before returning to school. However, Fairleya's martial arts progress remained slow...
