The thirty-day vacation quickly came to an end. This was the most meaningful holiday in Feilbolai's life. The training within Elysian Spire allowed his internal skills to advance at a remarkable pace, and with the hands-on guidance of Kangqiao Elder in Fair Fist, his martial arts had improved significantly.
Feilbolai returned to school just in time for the triennial Mars Alliance School Martial Arts Competition, a perfect opportunity to showcase his skills. He wanted Fairleya to see how much he had progressed, so he was the first to sign up.
The Mars Alliance School Martial Arts Competition, while not on par with the Global Martial Arts Championship, still held considerable influence on Mars Planet. This martial arts event focused on discovering and nurturing future martial arts stars. After registration, there would be preliminary rounds, selection matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finally the championship match. The champion would be recognized as one of the most promising young martial artists globally and could be selected by martial arts masters for focused training, potentially becoming a future Grandmaster.
Many participants signed up for this competition, including Kairuot and Fairleya, who entered both the men's and women's divisions respectively. It was evident that Kairuot was very confident about this competition; after all, he had not encountered any rivals since entering school.
Registration lasted for two weeks before the competition commenced. The venue was the school arena; however, this time it was not a battle between humans and robots but rather a contest among students. Although age groups were separated during the preliminary rounds and selection matches, once it reached the quarter-finals and semi-finals, there would be no distinction based on age—everyone would compete based on their abilities, meaning even younger students could challenge older ones.
In the preliminary round, it was essentially an elimination match—one-on-one, with the defeated party being eliminated. Feilbolai, Kairuot, and Fairleya smoothly advanced to the selection matches without any suspense. By fate's design, Feilbolai and Kairuot were not placed in the same group during the preliminaries; otherwise, one of them would have had to face elimination, which would have been quite awkward.
In the selection matches, it was a best-of-three format where two out of three winners would advance to the quarter-finals. Feilbolai, Kairuot, and Fairleya all achieved perfect victories and successfully moved on to the quarter-finals.
The quarter-finals consisted of round-robin matches within each group, with the top three advancing to the semi-finals. Feilbolai, Kairuot, and Fairleya each secured first place in their respective groups. All three advanced to the semi-finals.
Feilbolai, who had always been underestimated by others, surprisingly managed to progress through each round and reach the semi-finals, catching Fair Connie's attention. She wanted to see what kind of boxing technique Feilbolai used that allowed him to defeat numerous competitors.

Feilbolai's opponent this time is an upperclassman named Kano Lin, the son of the leader of the Kano Family, an ethnic minority from Mars Planet. Kano Lin is of similar height to Feilbolai, and in terms of physical fitness, they are evenly matched. Kano Lin's martial arts skills are also quite impressive; at the start of the battle, he did not allow Feilbolai to gain the upper hand. The two exchanged blows for over ten rounds without a clear winner, indicating that this fight would likely be prolonged...
Although the semifinals are conducted in a round-robin format, rankings are determined by points, so every match must be taken seriously for scoring purposes. There are four groups, and only one person from each group can advance to the Semifinals, making it to the final four.
Since every match is crucial, both sides spent the first several rounds testing each other cautiously. After this period of probing, someone would eventually break through the stalemate; this time it was Feilbolai. He suddenly unleashed a series of rapid-fire Fair Fist strikes. When Kano Lin attempted to block, he was hit with over ten punches and staggered back several steps, nearly falling to the ground. Just as Kano Lin managed to block one attack with his right arm, he retaliated with a left-handed snake claw strike that landed on Feilbolai, causing him to take a step back and momentarily disrupt his aggressive rhythm...
In the audience, Fair Connie observed Feilbolai's boxing technique intently and quietly remarked to Fairleya: "I wonder where Feilbolai learned his Fair Fist. He seems to have some skill, but unfortunately, his internal energy is insufficient, which limits his punching power; otherwise, he would have already knocked his opponent down."
Fairleya responded with surprise: "I’ve sparred with him before; I’m sure he never knew any Fair Fist."
Fair Connie replied: "That must have been in the past?—It’s clear that he has received guidance from a master recently; his skills are no longer what they used to be."
As they spoke, Feilbolai suddenly leaped into the air above Kano Lin. When Kano Lin looked up, Feilbolai descended rapidly and launched a combination of punches at him. Kano Lin hurriedly protected his chest with both hands but was struck repeatedly in the abdomen and fell to the ground. Just as he attempted to rise again, a sweeping kick from Feilbolai shattered his spine completely; he could no longer get up. Feilbolai emerged victorious in this match.
The arena erupted in cheers as fans celebrated Feilbolai's victory.
