The small strand of hair caught the attention of the Mars Alliance Headquarters. As a top-secret item, they planned to send this "strand of hair" to the Life Sciences Laboratory at headquarters for research.
The Mars Alliance Headquarters specifically dispatched a team of formidable security personnel to protect the exquisite box containing the "strand of hair." Fair Connie could not escort it due to a more important meeting, but she personally watched as the box was tightly secured and sent onto the spaceship. After seeing the spaceship gradually disappear into the distance, Fei Er Connie felt relieved and returned to the conference room for the headquarters meeting.
However, unforeseen circumstances arose. The Life Sciences Laboratory at headquarters soon reported that they had not seen the spaceship reach their facility. According to military aerospace monitoring reports, the escorting spaceship had crashed in a valley, resulting in the loss of all personnel and the disappearance of the box.
This news greatly alarmed Fair Connie. After receiving the military's investigation report, she went to the crash site herself and discovered many inconsistencies—while the military's report stated that the spaceship had been struck by an unidentified flying object, there were numerous fragments on-site that suggested an internal explosion had occurred, leading her to wonder if the military was deliberately lying.
To confirm her suspicions, Fair Connie secretly took a small piece of debris to the laboratory for analysis. The results confirmed her hypothesis: the spaceship had exploded due to a type of small but extremely powerful explosive. This potent Nuclear Bomb was produced by Mars Headquarters' military factory and was only accessible to agents.
Fair Connie thought: "There is a traitor within our Mars Alliance Headquarters. Who could it be?"
Through investigation, Fair Connie quickly determined that Kailong had taken the box—she deduced this from the soil found on his aircraft, indicating he had been at the crash site. Additionally, Kailong had obtained two Special Timing Bombs from the Military Supply Department, and the accident report came from Kailong's Investigation Department... all evidence pointed towards him.
In her mind, Fair Connie replayed every relevant person at headquarters like a movie. She still felt that Kailong was the most suspicious; however, she couldn't understand: "What does Kailong want with this box? Is he planning to use it for a trade?" Fei Er Connie pondered that if Kailong was indeed involved in a covert deal with aliens, then before executing any exchange, he should still have possession of the box.
As head of Mars Alliance Headquarters, Kailong could not be easily dealt with without concrete evidence. Fair Connie knew that to confront him, she would have to rely on her wits rather than force.
To avoid alarming him while retrieving the box, Fei Er Connie devised a plan...
Fair Connie immediately summoned Kairuot and Fairleya to her office to discuss how they could cooperate with her actions.
As Fair Connie suspected, the box was indeed in Kailong's possession.
The incident involving the crash of the escorting spaceship was orchestrated by Kailong himself; he had planted a timed Nuclear Bomb in the cockpit of the spaceship, causing it to explode mid-air and crash into a valley. He arrived at the crash site promptly and opened a special cabinet inside the spaceship to retrieve the exquisite box stored within. Although Kailong did not know what exactly was inside this exquisite box, he surmised it contained something of immense value; otherwise, his counterpart would not have offered assistance in helping him obtain his family's leadership position as part of their exchange terms.
Cunning and shrewd, Kailong was not easily deceived; he would not trust anyone without them demonstrating genuine capability.
During negotiations for the trade, he disdainfully remarked to his counterpart: "What reason do I have to trust you?"
The other party took out a small cube and told him, "With this Human Motion Controller. Try using this remote control on Kairuo Zun the Elder and make him listen to your commands. If it doesn't work, our deal ends here."
Kailong secretly tried the remote, and it indeed worked. Normally, when Kairuo Zun saw him, he looked down on him. However, with this remote control, the elder became completely obedient, nodding and bowing to him.
Thus, Kailong reached an agreement with the other party. They arranged to meet in three days at the usual place. The day after receiving the box, Kailong headed straight to Small Grove halfway up the mountain.
However, what Kailong did not expect was that many people had come to Small Grove that day, searching all over for two students from Mars Alliance School who had violated school rules by drinking and causing trouble. The place where he had agreed to meet Alien was bustling with activity... It seemed that his transaction today could not be completed.
In a hurry, Kailong retraced his steps back to the Mars Alliance Headquarters. At that moment, he saw two people staggering along the Passage, talking as they walked near his office.
Kailong quickly approached and asked, "Who are you? Who allowed you to barge in here?!"
"I can come in whenever I want... What does it matter to you?!" one of them said as he threw a punch at Kailong.
Caught off guard, Kailong was hit in the face and fell to the ground. Just as he was about to explode with anger, he realized that the person was none other than his nephew Kairuot, so he suppressed his fury and said, "You little brat, have you gone mad? You dare hit your uncle?"
"I'm hitting you! ... Who told you to interfere with our freedom!"
"You must be Uncle Kairolong, right?" At this moment, Fairleya, who was standing aside supporting Kairuot, explained with a smile, "Your nephew is drunk."
"Drunk?" Seeing Kairuot in a tipsy state, Kailong said, "The school rules state that students are not allowed to drink. This is a Military Restricted Area, and you can't just come here."
"We didn't know this was a Military Restricted Area. You see, your nephew never drinks. Then he walked into the inner room, planning to put the box he had been carrying into the Password Vault. However, Kairuot was outside on the sofa loudly demanding water, prompting Fairleya to knock on the door. With no other option, Kailong placed the box on the bookshelf and simply closed it.
The Water Supply Equipment in the room had somehow malfunctioned, so Kailong had to take a cup and go next door to the conference room to get water. After settling Kairuot, he prepared to retrieve the box from the bookshelf and put it back into the Password Vault when Fairleya shouted from the office, "Uncle, come quick! Kairuot has thrown up—it's everywhere." In her commotion, she went to knock on the door again... Kailong had no choice but to place the box back on the bookshelf.
This time, Kailong stayed in his office. He opened his communicator and called for maintenance staff to come clean up.
Just as the maintenance staff arrived, the school's Dean of Academic Affairs, Fair Connie, led a group of people into Kailong's office and ordered them to forcibly take Kairuot away.
With a serious expression, the Dean of Academic Affairs sternly told Fairleya, "You two really know how to hide; you dare come into a Military Restricted Area and make it hard for us to find you. When you return, you need to reflect properly and write a thorough self-examination report while waiting for school disciplinary action."
