After staying on Penglai Immortal Island for a while, Kairuot had somewhat gotten used to the leisurely lifestyle and elegant environment, enjoying his immortal-like days. However, he couldn't shake off the concern of needing to go to the Bermuda Triangle to search for Li Girl's parents. So, when Li Girl came to discuss it with him, they immediately decided to set off the next day.
Belden had been to the Bermuda Triangle before and was familiar with the route. She knew that the islands in the Bermuda Triangle were numerous and the geographical environment complex. Searching for Li Girl's parents there was akin to finding a needle in a haystack, with very little chance of success. Therefore, they did not invite more people; only Belden, Kairuot, and Li Girl would go. Having too many people would complicate matters and could alert others. The three of them planned to first scout the Bermuda Triangle and then devise a longer-term plan.
For this mission, they did not bring Osei or Laka along; their current abilities were no less than those of these mythical beasts. To be prepared for any eventuality, they equipped themselves fully—space combat suits, visible communication helmets, laser guns, missiles, daggers, and cloud boards—everything needed for special operations. These items were scavenged from Penglai Immortal Island; Kairuot was surprised to find so many modern weapons on the island.
Belden informed Kairuot that these items were left behind by Capricornian. Bel Grandfather cherished his great-granddaughter and provided them with the best weapons on the island.
To conserve energy, all three flew through the air on cloud boards. Penglai Immortal Island was still quite far from the Bermuda Triangle; apart from resting overnight on deserted islands, they spent almost all their time traveling. Finally, on the fourth day, they arrived above the Bermuda Triangle.
As soon as they entered the triangle area, all communication signals on their helmets disappeared. Under Miss Belri's hand signals, they quickly descended from high altitude and skimmed along the sea surface until their helmet signals were restored. Belden told them, "This is the Dead Zone of Electromagnetic Interference."
The sea surface in this area was covered with brown Sargassum, allowing them to stand easily on it. Just as they were secretly relieved that everything was calm and no danger had appeared, a sudden strong wind whipped up on the sea surface, forming a water wall over ten meters high right in front of them. Before they could react, a powerful Sea Dragon Tornado sucked them along with the seawater thousands of meters into the air—a truly breathtaking experience. Instead of falling from the sky, they flipped over and returned to the sea surface.
Just when they thought they could catch their breath, a massive shark lunged at Li Girl with its mouth wide open—seeing Li Girl in danger, Kairuot and Belden fired their laser guns at the Great White Shark, causing it to roll in the water and create huge waves.
Just as Li Girl's danger was averted, Kairuot and Belden found themselves in peril—another Great White Shark attacked them from behind! In a split second, Li Girl quickly took a missile from her waist and threw it into the Great White Shark's mouth, instantly blowing off its entire head.
The explosion startled a swarm of Great White Sharks that surged toward them. Seeing this, Kairuot shouted loudly, "Run!"
Belden reacted quickly and leaped into the air. Li Girl hesitated for a moment and unfortunately got bitten by a Great White Shark.
The Great White Shark bit down on Li Girl, who kept shouting, "Brother Kairuot, save me! Hurry, save me!!"
Having already escaped the danger zone, Kairuot returned and shouted back, "Xiao Li, don't be afraid! I'm coming to save you!!"
Strangely enough, at that moment, without any warning, the Great White Shark suddenly released its grip on Lily, allowing her to escape. All the Great White Sharks seemed to receive a command and disappeared into the sea. Everything returned to calm, eerily so. The hurricane, waves, electromagnetic waves, Infrasound, and everything else vanished; even the seaweed was gone. The Bermuda Triangle changed so quickly and mysteriously that their highly tense nerves relaxed all at once.
The sky over the Bermuda Triangle was a deep blue, and the vast ocean stretched far into the distance—what a beautiful Bermuda Triangle. The three of them had no time to admire the scenery before diving into the water. As they descended to a depth of 100 meters, they discovered many intersecting paths and buildings with round roofs underwater. It looked like an alien underwater base, but all the doors of the buildings were closed, making it impossible to enter. They swam along the streets until they finally found a massive pyramid with its main door wide open. Without thinking much, they quickly slipped inside.
As soon as they entered the pyramid, the door shut rapidly behind them. They found themselves in a sealed space and stepped onto an elevator switch, causing the floor beneath them to drop quickly. They realized they had entered the base of the Capricornian, and their nerves began to tense again as they prepared for battle. At this point, there was no turning back; they could only take things one step at a time.
When the elevator stopped, there was no seawater around them anymore. As the door opened, they arrived in a bright and spacious hall filled with instruments; it was clear to anyone that this was the Command Center.
Kairuot thought: "Why did the Capricornian bring them to this secret Command Center? Are they not planning to use this base anymore?" While he pondered this question, it was Li Girl who noticed first; she recognized her father Belron sitting on the Command Platform. She was so excited that she almost jumped up: "Father! Father!!" Saying this, she ran over and hugged her father tightly while crying.
Her daughter's tears left Belron somewhat at a loss; he could only gently stroke her cheek with his hand and wipe her tears. He also motioned for Kairuot and Belden to sit down on the chairs nearby.
Once Li Girl stopped crying and lifted her head, she said, "Father, how did you end up in this dreadful place? It took me so long to find you."
Belron sighed and replied, "Sigh, it's a long story."
