In order to further investigate the truth of what Fei Lai Ao had stated and to find out his true purpose for going to Penglai Immortal Island, Bel Grandfather required Fei Lai Ao to undergo a comprehensive physical examination at the Experimental Base on Penglai Immortal Island to see if a Controller had been implanted in his brain by Belche. Kairuot, Fairleya, Li Girl, and Belden accompanied him.
They traveled on a private airship to Penglai Immortal Island. Inside the fully sealed airship, each passenger had an independent seat that did not interfere with one another, and they were required to wear specialized helmets. The airship flew at high speed over a man-made super-suspension sea surface, making it impossible to see the outside scenery from within the cabin.
Sitting inside the airship, they felt dizzy within minutes of flying, and everything went dark before they lost consciousness. When the airship arrived at its destination, they were automatically taken to a large Experimental Base. The entire base was brightly lit with countless passageways; without the guidance of robots, it would have been impossible for anyone to distinguish directions or determine whether they were on land or underwater.
Bel Grandfather was already waiting at the Experimental Base—Great-Great-Grandfather still wore a broad smile as he invited Kairuot, Li Girl, and Belden to sit in the reception room. The robots secretly took Fei Lai Ao to a laboratory, where they soon extracted a Controller the size of a hair from his brain.
Bel Grandfather placed the Controller in a precision box and instructed a robot to put it into a machine. Shortly after, an image of Belche speaking appeared on the wall of the reception room.
Belche addressed Fei Lai Ao: “This time you infiltrated Earth’s Penglai Immortal Island; you must grasp the secret entry and exit passages of Penglai Immortal Island so that our people can infiltrate in the future. That old rascal Belzon is cunning; he quietly established his base on Earth’s Penglai Immortal Island without us noticing for so many years. If it weren't for reports from those who escaped from Penglai Immortal Island, I would still be in the dark. He has taken many facilities and resources from Capricorn Planet and built a base on Earth larger than Dragonfall Lodge. It is said that his base is highly modernized; their weaponry and spacecraft manufacturing technology have already surpassed ours. If we do not destroy this base, any future development for Capricorn Planet will be mere talk.”
Seeing Belche on the screen, Kairuot asked Great-Great-Grandfather: “Great-Great-Grandfather, where did you get this video footage?”
Great-Great-Grandfather stroked his beard and replied: “This footage was recorded by the Controller extracted from Fei Lai Ao's brain; these images are of his conversation with Belche.”
Fairleya asked: “Was my cousin's brain also implanted with a Controller by Belche?”
“Exactly. Belche has misused human technology. Clones, genetically mutated humans, gene-controlled Earthlings, human activity Controllers—he will not miss any technology useful for his domination of the universe; it is truly despicable.”
“Great-Great-Grandfather,” Belden asked, “Belche said your weaponry and spacecraft manufacturing technology have surpassed theirs; is that true? Why haven’t I seen where the factories are?”
“Foolish child, these are secrets.”
Kairuot asked, “Great-Great-Grandfather, where does the energy for such a massive base come from?”
Great-Great-Grandfather smiled without answering.
At that moment, a video of Belche appeared on the screen: “That old guy Belzon took the lead in occupying the Moon. It is said that they hollowed out the Moon and brought back a lot of Energy Materials and many rare metals smelted on the Moon to the Penglai Fairy Island Base. Once your mission at Penglai Immortal Island is completed, I plan to send you to the Moon.”
Fairleya exclaimed, “Great-Great-Grandfather, you even have factories on the Moon! That's amazing! Our Fair Tribe's technology hasn't reached that level yet.”
“You're exaggerating. Penglai Immortal Island is just an ordinary island. Mining on the Moon requires immense manpower and resources; don't listen to Belche's nonsense.”
Great-Great-Grandfather turned off the video that was about to play next. He stood up and said, “Let’s go see if Fei Lai Ao has woken up.”

Under Great-Great-Grandfather's guidance, everyone arrived in front of the Recovery Pod at the Experimental Base.
At this time, Fei Lai Ao had already awakened. Upon seeing Fairleya, he waved to her, signaling her to come in.
Fairleya stepped into the Recovery Pod, concerned as she asked, “Are you feeling better?”

Fairleya understood that the memories stored in the Controller from his cousin's past had been extracted, and he feared he would never be able to recall those controlled times again.
After helping Fei Lai Ao extract the Controller, Belzun the Elder did not try to keep them but instead allowed them to take the airship back to Penglai Immortal Island directly.
The three young people had intended to accompany Fei Lai Ao to the base on Penglai Immortal Island to retrieve the Controller while also taking a look around the base to broaden their horizons. However, they ended up seeing nothing at all. Their brains felt dazed as they entered and groggy as they exited. Not one of them could discern which direction the base was in or its location on Penglai Immortal Island.
Kairuot thought: [Perhaps this is the cleverness of Great-Great-Grandfather. If what was said on the screen by Belche is true, then the strength of Penglai Immortal Island is indeed remarkable. Not to mention anything else, just the technology to extract stored recordings from a device as small as a hair strand—the technology itself is quite impressive.
