Kairuot picked up the Graphene Storage Device that Belche had thrown on the ground and took it to his Command Ship to play it. Scenes from the past stirred Kairuot's memories, revealing many doubts that had lingered. He asked the girl beside him, Xiao Li, "Why have you been hiding this from me? I never doubted you, yet you deceived me time and again."
"I was sent by Belle to be by your side, but we never meant to harm you. I truly love you..."
"Enough!" Kairuot interrupted. "It all started as a deception at Dragonfall Lodge. It was all orchestrated by Belzon. Belden married me to control me, to make me serve them and become your accomplice. Your purpose in being by my side was to monitor my every move. And you still have the face to say you love me."
Tears streamed down Xiao Li's face. "My love for you is genuine, but being used is another matter. Don't you think about why you're always so lucky? Isn't it because someone is secretly helping you?"
"The purpose of your help is to eliminate Belche, then seize Capricorn Planet, Earth, and the Moon to realize your ambitions."
Xiao Li sincerely told him, "That's their plan; I never had such intentions. I only want to be by your side."
Not wanting to argue with Kairuot, Xiao Li stormed out of the command cabin alone.
Kairuot could no longer control himself; he immediately closed the mech's door, leaving Xiao Li alone on Earth. "Go find your Belle," he said.
With that, Kairuot activated the Command Ship and flew into space towards the Martians' base.

Upon returning to the Mars Base, Kairuot was busy considering its future. After several days of repeated discussions among the ministers, they ultimately decided to abandon Earth, avoid the disturbances from Belche, and develop in other star systems far from the Galaxy.
Kairuot proposed sending a task force to rescue Fairleya, but was ruthlessly rejected by the ministers. As the Chairman of the Mars Base, Kairuot felt utterly helpless... When his proposal was denied, he contemplated resigning from his position as Chairman and going alone to the Capricorn Mother Ship to be with his lover—Fairleya. It reminded him of his mother's unwavering loyalty and greatness in resigning from her position to be with his father. This kind of love was something Kairuot could not achieve alone; he had hundreds of thousands of Martians behind him, bearing heavy responsibilities on his shoulders.
He had never forgotten the words he wrote: "Mountain Without Green, Sea Without Water, only then can I part with you." He sighed deeply and murmured, "We are about to leave the Galaxy, far away from the Capricorn Mother Ship. It seems I will never see Fei Leiya again in this lifetime. Is this what the words meant? Now on Mars, there truly are no green mountains and the seas have dried up; I have said farewell to Fei Leiya forever!"
Thinking of this, a dignified man could not help but shed tears. He silently wished for his beloved: "Fei Leiya! Take care! I believe that as long as our hearts are connected, no matter where we go, we will eventually be together!"
That day's meeting also decided that Kairuot would lead a team to search for the tens of thousands of missing Martians on Earth and bring them back to Mars Base.
To make up for his sudden departure from Earth that day, leaving Lily alone, Kairuot decided to personally bring her back to the base.
He led several mechs back to Maya City to search for the missing Martians. However, no matter how hard they searched, they could not find any trace of them. They combed through the tropical jungles of South America, but those thousands of people had mysteriously vanished.
The search had entered its fifth day with still no results. That night, Kairuot stared intently at the screen, hoping that Xiaoli would give him a response. No matter how he called out to her, there was no answer; her Wristband's tracking device had already been turned off.
The ministers of Mars Base were very anxious and urged Kairuot to return to the base quickly; they could not wait any longer. Perhaps the Capricorn Mother Ship was about to go to war with Mars Base again. Tomorrow was the final deadline.
Kairuot was also very anxious. He thought about how to leave a trace of Mars Base for Xiaoli and felt a bit guilty towards Lily; he wanted to give her a souvenir. But he was currently in the desolate Maya City on Earth—what could he possibly have that was worth remembering?
Finally, he thought of the Graphene Storage Device that Fairleya had once given him. It was his most treasured item, a token of his love for Fairleya. Even Belden wanted it, but he couldn't bear to give it away because it contained many advanced technological data from Mars and his personal diary. Out of guilt towards Lily, he decided to leave his most cherished possession for her, which could also be considered a gift for the Martians. So he took off the Graphene Storage Device hanging around his neck and wrote "Prologue" on it.
He found an exquisite metal box and placed the Graphene Storage Device inside it. He gathered some packing materials and sealed the box, preparing to place it in a spot where Xiaoli would be able to discover it early the next morning.
The next morning, he opened the Command Ship's hatch and looked at the ruins before him; he couldn't find a suitable place to leave the box. He noticed a large square stone nearby. Using the Command Ship, he processed it into a Stone Chest through cutting techniques and sealed the box inside it. To place this Stone Chest, Kairuot put in great effort and finally positioned it next to the Kairouka Astronomical Observation Tower, covering and hiding it with debris and weeds from the wasteland.
In order for Lily to know that there is a Stone Chest next to the Kairouka Astronomical Observation Tower, Kairuot racked his brain and carved a pattern on a stone tablet. He placed the tablet in front of the pile of dirt where the Stone Chest was located, hinting that there was a gift behind the tablet. Once everything was arranged, he confidently piloted the Command Ship back to the base.
Mars Base followed the pre-set route, heading towards the star system beyond the Galaxy...
Earthlings experienced gains and losses with Graphene Memory Storage, unable to imagine what had happened; it must have been Lily who took it. People couldn't help but ask, "Can Lily survive to this era on Earth?"
Let’s not forget that Martians can live over 300 years. According to the conversion between Mars and Earth, Martians should live over 3,000 years. Little Lily is currently only around 1,700 years old. Moreover, with advancements in technology, aliens might be able to live for tens of thousands of years. The wisdom of the wise is unmatched by Earthlings.
However, as technology advances, human lifespan will continue to increase. Perhaps one day Earthlings will crack the genetic code of aliens and gain control over their Cognitive Ability, allowing them to potentially live as long as aliens do. The premise is that Earthlings must no longer engage in wars and avoid falling into a vicious cycle of human development—from primitive stages to advanced civilization, then self-destruction through war, leading back to primitive society—a cyclical curse.
The story written by Kairuot ends here. Due to the disappearance of the Graphene Storage Device, Earthlings will forever be unable to understand Mars's high technology. Limited by their technological level, Earthlings cannot detect the whereabouts of Martians. Perhaps after Mars's destruction, they did not leave Earth; they might have been secretly monitoring everything about us from the shadows.
