They walked slowly along the way, stopping to take photos or explore some beautiful scenery or attractions, so their pace was not fast.
In the Scottish Highlands, hiking in many places offers a better travel experience. There are quite a few farms, forest paths, and hidden houses nearby, making it feel like an adventure. However, Bai Yujing and Emma had other goals, so they could only express their regrets.
If they walked faster, they could reach William's Fort that day. However, they took their time and only found their next resting spot at a small town near the foot of a mountain as it was getting dark. Emma found a very interesting wooden cabin resort where Bai Yujing and Emma would be staying for the night.
The owner was a middle-aged man who looked quite amiable and spoke loudly with a cheerful demeanor.
"Emma, it's been such a long time!" The owner seemed to recognize Emma immediately and became very friendly, enthusiastically guiding Bai Yujing and Emma to choose their room.
He informed Bai Yujing and Emma that there was a restaurant and bar here, and the outdoor seating area outside the bar offered a view of the distant mountains, which was quite unique. There would be activities at the bar in the evening, and everyone was welcome to join.
"This place is really hard to find. How did you know about it? And it seems like the owner knows you," Bai Yujing suddenly felt that choosing Emma as a guide was a very smart decision. If Bai Yujing had come alone, navigating these small roads and paths would have made it difficult to find the right direction even with a satellite map.
Emma immediately gave a mysterious look: "Don't underestimate a girl from Scotland who loves to roam around since childhood. I came here once when I was hiking alone!"
Bai Yujing and Emma were assigned to a small dark red cabin with two separate bedrooms, equipped with heating and a bathroom. It was Bai Yujing's first time staying in such a cabin, and she felt very curious as she looked around inside.
Just after putting down their luggage, Emma immediately pulled Bai Yujing outside. "I’m taking you to a great place."
"What place? Why so mysterious?" Bai Yujing was also very curious about Emma's excitement.
When they arrived at the place, Bai Yujing realized it was a bar. Inside, it was brightly lit, and the music was loud enough that it couldn't be ignored. Bai Yujing then understood that Emma wanted to bring her here to relax: "Oh, this is really a good idea."
"Alright, let's go in!"
Pushing the door open and stepping inside, Bai Yujing did not expect that a bar in such a remote location would have quite a number of people. They were likely locals from the nearby town, along with many tourists of all ages. It felt more like a quiet bar, with a very pleasant atmosphere where everyone found their own spot to chat, connect with friends, and enjoy drinks.
Bai Yujing and Emma also took a seat at the bar. While Bai Yujing was observing the surroundings, Emma immediately reached out her hand and made a decision for him.
"Two bottles of brandy!"
Emma also instructed the bartender, and Bai Yujing soon saw two large 700-milliliter bottles being brought out—this was not some fruity brandy but rather a high-proof variety.
Oh no, Bai Yujing's alcohol tolerance was just average; usually, he could only manage seven or eight beers. Half a bottle of high-proof liquor would leave him weak in the legs, and after one bottle, he would be leaning against the wall to walk. Emma had ordered two bottles of strong liquor—was she trying to get him completely drunk?
"Are you serious?" Bai Yujing said to Emma.
Emma shot him a provocative glance. "Are you scared?"
Bai Yujing couldn't stand this challenge. As someone who prided himself on being tough, he certainly wouldn't back down and was determined to go all out against Emma.
"Alright, I'll show you what I'm made of today!"
Having eaten dinner not long ago, Bai Yujing still felt somewhat full, giving him a bit of confidence that he could handle at least one bottle.
He asked the bartender to bring over some glasses. Emma filled all the glasses to the brim with both bottles and looked at Bai Yujing. "Loser pays the bill!"
With that, Emma raised her glass and downed it in one gulp. Her gem-blue eyes looked at Bai Yujing, signaling that it was his turn.
"Okay!" Bai Yujing refused to back down and finished his drink in one go.
The music in the bar suddenly changed to a lively Scottish-style folk tune. A person who didn't seem like a staff member pulled out a set of bagpipes and began to play. The two companions beside him started dancing along.
Soon, Bai Yujing saw that everyone in the bar was getting into the spirit, dancing gracefully together. Emma and Bai Yujing raised their glasses, "Let's join in."
"But I can't dance!" Bai Yujing exclaimed just before Emma pulled him out onto the dance floor.
The music was quite loud, so Emma had to lean close to Bai Yujing's ear to speak, "Just follow the music, don't worry too much. The main thing is to relax and let go of all your thoughts; just focus on the music."
With the scent of alcohol on her lips brushing against Bai Yujing's ear, he felt a tickling sensation at the base of his ears, and his heart raced.
With so many people dancing together, everyone let loose regardless of where they came from or what ethnicity they belonged to. At that moment, only the cheerful music and carefree dancing remained. Bai Yujing initially thought he looked awkward dancing along with others, but he was surprised to see another chubby white guy dancing even more humorously, eliciting bursts of laughter from everyone. The chubby guy didn't feel embarrassed at all; instead, he laughed along.
The two locked eyes, raising their glasses as they slowly downed two bottles of brandy. Emma immediately signaled the bartender for another bottle.
After one bottle, Bai Yujing's face turned red; he was still somewhat clear-headed but likely would stumble while walking. Emma opened another bottle, and when Bai Yujing took a sip, he felt he couldn't drink anymore. Meanwhile, Emma effortlessly finished off the rest, showing no signs of intoxication except for a slight flush on her cheeks that made her look even more alluring. It dawned on Bai Yujing that this girl was quite the drinker; competing with her in drinking was simply overestimating his capabilities.
As the alcohol took effect, Bai Yujing's previously composed gentlemanly demeanor shattered. Unable to contain himself any longer, he wrapped his arms around Emma's head and kissed her. This time was different from before; both had drunk some alcohol and were feeling emotional. Bai Yujing held Emma's face and kissed her deeply as if trying to draw her tongue out.
Emma tightly embraced Bai Yujing's back, her delicate arms caressing his shoulder blades before climbing up to hold onto his shoulders until they both felt slightly breathless and stopped.
"How do you feel?" Emma asked while holding onto Bai Yujing. He looked down at her face, golden curls cascading beside her; she had a slight rosy glow on her cheeks.
Bai Yujing didn't want to drink anymore; his body felt restless. "Alright, I admit defeat in drinking, but I won't concede in other matters!"
Emma raised an eyebrow. "And what might those other matters be?"
"I'm going to let you know which side it is soon!" Bai Yujing released Emma and called for the bill.
When paying, the bartender looked at Bai Yujing and said, "Have a wonderful night. Honestly, she's really beautiful, a real stunner!"
Bai Yujing nodded proudly, "Of course, thank you for your wishes!"
Bai Yujing took Emma's hand and left the bar. The two seemed to still be immersed in the atmosphere of the bar, walking cheerfully towards the cabin. Halfway there, Bai Yujing's mind seemed to be prompted by the Exotic Creature Hunter System, but at that moment, with the effects of alcohol, he couldn't care less.
Back in the room, both Bai Yujing and Emma were a bit impatient. As soon as they opened the door, they began to kiss passionately. Bai Yujing took off Emma's coat and then lifted her up completely. Having drunk quite a bit, he stumbled slightly as he walked, startling Emma into a scream.
"Don't you want to know which side it is? I'll tell you right now!" Bai Yujing said fiercely.
Emma's eyes seemed to glisten with emotion as she wrapped her legs around Bai Yujing's waist. "Just don't beg for mercy later."
Bai Yujing embraced Emma and fell onto the bed. He pulled off Emma's T-shirt and then took off his own. They kissed deeply; not satisfied with just their mouths, Bai Yujing also removed Emma's bra and pressed down on her.
Emma was equally aroused and quickly took off her skirt. The two rolled around on the bed. While it might be hard to see anything when girls are dressed, once clothes were off, there were some areas that could appear a bit softer or fuller. However, Emma often exercised; her skin was tight and delicate without an ounce of excess fat. When Bai Yujing touched her, it felt like silk.
With both of them completely undressed, they naturally moved on to the final step without much hesitation or subtlety; it was simply driven by desire. They found each other appealing and being single made it easy to proceed.
Bai Yujing was quite confident in this regard; after all, he had some innate talent in this area. However, facing the fiery blonde Emma, he found himself somewhat clumsy. Even though the heating wasn't on, the room felt like it was filled with an intense heat that lingered until dawn before finally subsiding.
