"It has been confirmed that three items were stolen: two RB Akihiko character teacups and one painted character teapot. Since all exhibits are stored in the safe at night, protected by a large number of Security Personnel, they took action during lunchtime when there were the fewest people in the exhibition hall," Li Hao informed Bai Yujing immediately after receiving the news.
"What we know so far is that they blocked off the exhibition hall by pretending to be construction workers and blended in as staff. Li Hao assured her he had done thorough research: "The Tokyo National Museum has over 100,000 items in its collection, with only about 4,000 on display at any given time. Most are stored in safes containing numerous rare treasures from around the world. As I mentioned, this museum originally belonged to Neon Royalty and is now nominally under the Agency for Cultural Affairs; however, it still effectively belongs to the royal family and contains many royal secrets and treasures. No level of security would be excessive for this place, which is why this incident has caused such a stir. I've heard that high-ranking officials in Neon have ordered that the criminals must be captured!"
Bai Yujing asked, "Have you found any information on the car owner I asked you to investigate?"
There were four computers on the table. Li Hao shifted positions and opened another one: "The owner's name is Amiya Jiro, thirty-four years old, living in Yamayama District. He has been arrested three times for crimes and was once an outer member of Yoshiwara Society, working under one of their offices until he was dismissed for some reason. He is currently unemployed."
The computer displayed an image of a man in his thirties who looked somewhat disheveled but had a decent appearance; he was quite delicate-looking but unkempt. Bai Yujing was puzzled: "What exactly is this Yoshiwara Society?"
Li Hao explained: "It's a gang; however, here in Neon it has been formalized into a legitimate organization primarily operating in Kabukicho and talent agencies. Also worth mentioning is that Yamayama District is one of Tokyo's more impoverished areas; it's essentially a slum where many homeless people and social drifters gather."
"This unemployed guy living in a slum can barely afford food; is this car really his?" Bai Yujing questioned.
Li Hao slid back in his chair: "Don't worry; I'm close to pinpointing this car's GPS system. We should be able to find its location soon."
Bai Yujing patted Li Hao's shoulder: "Good job! Being around people like you makes me feel like I have no privacy left at all. By the way, can you help me with my new computer? I'm starting to feel a little intimidated by you guys."
"Everything is ready. I have set up your system's password, access, IP, removed default sharing, deleted unnecessary protocols, and reconfigured the registry editor. I even arranged a small program I made for you. There shouldn't be any major issues now!" Li Hao placed a somewhat heavy black Alienware 18 laptop into Bai Yujing's hands. Bai Yujing initially wanted to buy an Apple laptop, but this one felt too heavy. However, after being persuaded by Li Hao, she ended up buying it.
Bai Yujing took it and said, "You made it sound too complicated; I can only understand a little. But as long as there are no problems, it's fine. Wow, this is so heavy; I'm starting to regret it."
"If you use it well, you'll remember me. What's a little weight?" Just as Li Hao finished speaking, his phone on the table rang.
Li Hao answered the call and frowned. "Okay, let them come up!"
Seeing Li Hao's expression, Bai Yujing knew something was up. "What happened?"
Li Hao hung up the phone. "It's the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department; they want to see you and me!"
Bai Yujing's first question was, "How many of them are there?"
"Three people!"
Bai Yujing nodded. "It should be nothing serious; it might just be some consequences from the attack we encountered at Senso-ji yesterday. We can just say whatever we need to when they arrive!"
Three people came in: one Sorrowful Uncle and two newcomers, a man and a woman. As they entered and looked around, Li Hao immediately asked, "May I ask what brings you three officers here?"
The female officer translated for a moment before Sorrowful Uncle seemed to realize he had a purpose for coming. "Oh, we're just here to take a look and understand the situation. Please don't be nervous! Here are my credentials."
Bai Yujing and Li Hao wanted to say that they weren't nervous at all. The officer's badge read Arakawa Shigeto from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Once Bai Yujing and Li Hao saw it clearly, Arakawa Shigeto quickly put away the credentials. "This person should be a director from Shanshui International Group, Director Li Hao, right?"
"And this one is a world-famous Treasure Hunter, Bai Yujing Bai Sang!"
Arakawa Shigeto spoke in an exaggerated tone. After hearing this, Bai Yujing replied, "Officer Arakawa is joking; I'm just a Traveler and a novelist. The title of Treasure Hunter is merely someone else's nickname!"
After introductions were complete, they all sat down in the hall. The pile of computers that had been on the table was already cleared away. "Bai Sang and Li Sang arrived at the Tokyo National Museum yesterday as well, right?"
Bai Yujing nodded, "That's right. I originally planned to visit, but I didn't expect it to be closed when we arrived. We took the subway there; you should be able to verify that."

Bai Yujing opened his mouth in surprise; it seemed that these professionals were not as incompetent as portrayed in TV dramas. "We weren't aware of that."
"Amiya Jiro was a former gang member. His daughter told us that her father had been acting strangely lately, as if he was meeting people she had never seen before. Moreover, there are some inconsistencies in what Bai Sang just said. Why were you following that Man in Black Coat?" Arakawa Shigeto raised his doubts, his previously lazy demeanor vanishing instantly as his eagle-like eyes fixed on Bai Yujing.
Bai Yujing explained, "I'm a martial arts enthusiast and practice regularly for fitness. When I arrived at the Tokyo National Museum yesterday, I noticed a man in a black coat watching me from behind. I then observed that he had very long arms with calloused fingers that looked different from usual. I've heard from older generations that people with naturally long arms are skilled at climbing and have great hand techniques. In my hometown, I've heard people mention such individuals as top thieves!"
Arakawa Shigeto immediately showed an expression of admiration, "I didn't expect Bai Sang to come from a family of warriors!"
Bai Yujing smiled but did not elaborate further, "So out of curiosity and being someone who practices martial arts myself, I followed him."
Arakawa Shigeto nodded, stood up, and bowed deeply, "I understand now. Thank you for your assistance and cooperation, Bai Sang and Li Sang. I apologize for the intrusion."
After obtaining the information he wanted, Arakawa Shigeto did not linger and immediately left with his two subordinates.
