Bai Yujing and others had been waiting on Yangmayen Island for seven or eight days. With the arrival of the windy season, news was coming in every day. The Meteorological Station reported daily observations of weather changes that could lead to the formation of a Cloud Hole, relaying this information to Bivis and Bai Yujing.
The dock area had also become lively, with boats departing and returning daily. However, so far, no entrance to the Cloud Hole or Sky Island had been discovered.
In a simple hall, Bai Yujing, Emma, Will Hackman, and Bivis were present. Additionally, Shen Fei and the previously mentioned botanist Hank were also in attendance.
"We still haven't made any discoveries. If we continue to delay like this, we might miss our chance to enter Sky Island this year!" Bivis was starting to lose his composure. After all, the situation with Burton Hackman was getting worse; if they missed this opportunity, there would be no second chance.
Bivis paced around before stopping to look at Bai Yujing. "Mr. Bai Yujing, could it be that you made a mistake somewhere?"
Bai Yujing shrugged. "Impossible. These things are not based on our deductions; they are documented facts. Lemuel Gulliver's notes state that they entered Sky Island by passing through a Cloud Hole!"
"The Nautical Chart also indicates that during this period, an entrance to Sky Island would appear in this sea area. Although this Nautical Chart is from the Seventeenth Century, it is still very detailed!"
Hackman looked at Bai Yujing. "Could it be that we've got the wrong area?"
Bivis nodded. "Exactly. We need to expand our monitoring range!"
At that moment, Bivis's phone rang. He picked it up and immediately placed it in front of Bai Yujing. Upon seeing it was a message from meteorologist Jamie, Bai Yujing read: "There’s an abnormal situation; you all should come over!"
Bai Yujing quickly stood up and gathered his things. "Let’s go; Jamie has made a new discovery; we need to check it out!"

Bivis immediately said, "Jamie, calm down! What exactly happened?"
Jamie kept spinning in circles. "I need to calm down, Mr. Bivis, this is just too shocking. What I discovered is impossible. Could it be a problem with the satellite monitoring?"
"No, no, it must be an error in the calculations. I need to pull up the real-time monitoring images to take a look!"
Jamie seemed to be talking to himself, treating everyone around him as if they were air, his uniquely styled hair swaying with a small braid at the back.
Bai Yujing walked over. "Mr. Jamie, what exactly happened?"
Jamie pointed at a picture on the wall. Bai Yujing could only see a tiny white dot appearing in the center of the screen, surrounded by something that looked like a vortex.
Jamie zoomed in on the image. "Look here, the hurricane is forming here, but there’s no eye of the storm. Do you know why?"
Bivis pondered for a moment. "This hurricane has no eye!"
"Oh my God, Mr. Bivis, how can you say something so foolish? A hurricane cannot lack an eye! Hurricanes are tropical cyclones formed due to meteorological changes; the smaller the eye, the greater the destructive power. But regardless, it cannot exist without an eye!"
Bivis continued to zoom in on the image, and Bai Yujing could also see clearly now that something was obscuring part of the hurricane: "Do you see? This is high-altitude cloud cover, and it looks different from what we observed before. The Clouds are still thickening and expanding."
Bai Yujing asked curiously, "Are you saying that Clouds appeared above the hurricane? How could this happen? Shouldn't they be affected by the hurricane and disappear or get blown away?"
"Yes, finally a smart person has appeared!" Jamie exclaimed excitedly, looking very unstable as if he felt his worldview was being shattered and was becoming increasingly anxious.
After taking a deep breath, Jamie said, "To be precise, it's not that Clouds appeared above the hurricane; what I observed tells me that the hurricane and these Clouds are connected. They exist in a complementary relationship. From when we first observed them until now, the hurricane has been continuously growing, but so far it hasn't moved from its position, and this Clouds has also been expanding along with the hurricane as if it was created by the hurricane itself."
Bivis asked, "What does this strange weather have to do with the Cloud Hole we are trying to find?"
"Jamie immediately said, 'The formation of the Cloud Hole is a special phenomenon caused by external air pressure or other disturbances. This strange Clouds is completely connected to the hurricane, indicating that it is linked to the eye of the hurricane, thus creating the phenomenon of the Cloud Hole!'
'Moreover, the formation of this hurricane is completely unscientific. There are no climatic conditions here that would produce a hurricane, and it is as stable as a top held down by God, not moving at all. My goodness, what on earth is this? The area above it is completely obscured by Clouds, only the edges are visible. This is a tropical cyclone that is gradually expanding. Bai Yujing pondered for a moment and looked at Emma, who nodded in agreement. From their earlier conversation, Bivis had roughly understood and started to believe in the possibility of an entrance appearing here: 'According to what Jamie just said, the likelihood of an entrance appearing here is indeed quite high!'
'However, this is the center of a hurricane's eye. Are you sure we want to fly a plane through this intense and potentially catastrophic hurricane to reach its eye and then pass through the upper Cloud Hole to successfully arrive at our destination?' Bivis thought about this and his expression changed dramatically.
Bivis held his head: 'My goodness, this is truly a crazy idea. I wish we weren't here!'
After listening to what Jamie said, Bai Yujing also felt that things were not looking good: 'Although the situation is exactly as you described it, Mr. Bivis, we still need to go take a look and understand more before deciding on our next steps. What do you think?'
Emma also stepped forward to speak: 'Since Lemuel Gulliver was able to pilot an airship through such perilous conditions to reach Sky Island, I believe there must be other ways we haven't discovered yet. We must first go take a look and then discuss strategies together!'
Bivis looked at everyone: 'So are we going directly or should we send a fishing boat first to scout?'
Bai Yujing thought for a moment: 'I believe the possibility of an entrance appearing here exceeds eighty percent. Let's go directly because sending a fishing boat back and forth would take at least two or three days, which might cause us to miss the best time to enter!'
Bivis stood up: 'Alright then, you all make sense. I'll follow your lead!'"
