In the Cloud Sea, the ship moved slowly forward. The massive figure that had flashed by earlier in the Cloud Sea had now vanished, but both Bai Yujing and Bivis believed they needed to be cautious. Although they did not know what it was, just the sight of its enormous size was enough to instill fear.
"Hello, can you hear me? This is Bai Yujing, calling Control Room Huckman!" Bai Yujing picked up the intercom and spoke while vigilantly observing the surroundings.
"This is Control Room, I am Huckman!"
Once connected, Bai Yujing immediately said, "Mr. Hackman, please turn left immediately; there was an abnormal situation on the right side just now. We must steer clear of that area!"
"Received!"
"Emma, Hank, are you there?" Bai Yujing continued.
"Here!"
"What’s going on?"
Bai Yujing quickly replied, "Throw some of the ballast sandbags overboard!"
"Ah!"
At that moment, Bai Yujing suddenly heard a loud shout and immediately looked in the direction from which the sound came. On the deck, it was only him and Bivis, and the sound could only have come from him. However, when Bai Yujing looked over, the first thing he noticed was not Bivis, but a monster hovering in the sky.
"Mooh!"
A low growl echoed through the air. As lightning flashed, Bai Yujing caught a glimpse of the creature hidden within the mist. Its massive body was several times larger than the entire ship, with multiple heads weaving in and out of the clouds. Its enormous wings stirred up powerful winds, dispersing the mist around it.
This was a giant dragon from ancient mythology, but it had more than one head. It was Bai Yujing's first time seeing such a mythical creature. Upon seeing it for the first time, he was awestruck by its overwhelming presence. Its body was covered in white scales, and its eyes were also white, with transparent pupils that sparkled like diamonds as they curiously observed Bai Yujing and others aboard this Boat.
"Quick, Mr. Hackman, head towards the nine o'clock direction immediately, increase speed to maximum!" Bai Yujing shouted impatiently.
At this moment, the White Giant Dragon seemed very curious about them. As it approached the ship, it happened to spot Bivis standing by the ship's railing. Three of its heads simultaneously fixed their gaze on him, and the fear ingrained in Bivis's genes towards such apex predators was suddenly triggered. He was so frightened that he collapsed to the ground, unable to get back up.
Bai Yujing quickly returned to the cabin and retrieved a shotgun and an automatic rifle from his territory space. As he rushed out, he saw the monster's massive claw reaching towards the ship. Bivis crawled backward in a panic, as if the dragon had encountered a fascinating toy.
"Help, help!" Bivis cried out in terror, his voice trembling and devoid of any strength.
Bai Yujing immediately raised the shotgun and fired two shots at the dragon's claw.
"Bang! Bang!"
The loud sounds caused the claw to recoil in pain, startling the dragon into retreating as well. At such close range, combined with the shotgun's immense power, it left the dragon's claw bloodied and mangled. However, for such a colossal creature, it was merely a minor wound.
"Roar!" The dragon howled in pain, momentarily halting its movements. At this time, the ship also accelerated rapidly, quickly distancing itself from the dragon and disappearing into the Clouds.
Emma and Hank also caught sight of the monster through the window. The creature's enormous tail brushed past the stern of the ship, producing a sound like metal clashing against metal, causing the vessel to tilt. Everyone fell to the ground, unable to maintain their balance.
"My God, is that... a wicked dragon?" Emma couldn't believe they encountered such a creature in the Cloud Sea. This was quite an outrageous joke; in Western culture, dragons are considered evil beings.
Hank was equally excited: "This creature really exists—a dragon, a giant dragon! God, if we could capture it... no, if we could just get a drop of its blood..."
As Hank spoke, he used his phone to record footage of the dragon. This was a creature that only existed in legends. As the dragon roared in pain, clouds were blown away in large swathes, revealing its entire body for Hank to see.
"One, two, three... it has seven heads! This kind of creature is mentioned in the Bible and is referred to as 'the dragon.' Could it be that we have truly arrived in a divine realm? Is this God's kingdom?" Hank exclaimed.
After the dragon felt the pain, it was filled with rage. It never expected that a small toy could injure it. As a creature at the top of the food chain, it had never experienced such humiliation. The dragon had clearly seen that it was a tiny ant-like being on the ship that had wounded it with some strange weapon.
Fuming with anger and embarrassment, the dragon immediately gave chase. Its massive wings swept away the clouds, but it still couldn't find Bai Yujing and the others, who had already dashed into the clouds. This only fueled the dragon's fury further, and all seven of its heads roared in unison, covering the entire area with their furious cries.
Bai Yujing knew they were still in danger and shouted into the intercom, "Mr. Hackman, hurry! We need to use the cover of the clouds to escape quickly. That monster is looking for us; it wants revenge!"
"Understood. Fei Shen, what are you doing? The boiler room is underpowered; you need to..." Will Hackman's strong voice came through the intercom.
The dragon's seven heads scanned all directions simultaneously, its wings continuously dispersing the clouds as it searched for Bai Yujing and the others. Suddenly, one of its heads seemed to spot something and let out a roar, prompting the other heads to join in a chorus of growls as they charged in one direction, having seemingly discovered something.
Bai Yujing had already handed another gun to Bivis and was now running with him to the aft deck. Hearing the roars getting closer, Bai Yujing sensed something was wrong: "Not good! That dragon has found us; it's coming this way! Bivis, are you ready?"
"But what good will that do? Our guns can't hurt it; they won't have any effect!" Bivis trembled all over, terrified by the dragon. Just moments ago, he had nearly been snatched away by this enormous beast as a snack.
Bai Yujing loaded the shotgun and raised it: "It's okay; we may not be able to kill it, but we can hurt it! Aim for its head; its eyes are its weak points!"
At that moment, the dragon was closing in rapidly. The leading heads broke through the clouds, their fierce jaws and malicious eyes fixated on the ship and its occupants.
"Are you ready? Prepare... fire!" As the dragon approached, Bai Yujing and Bivis stood on the aft deck and fired simultaneously. Flames shot forth with a glimmer of light, piercing through the darkness toward the dragon!
The dragon staggered slightly from the impact, but it continued charging forward as if determined to eliminate Bai Yujing and his companions.
