Each person in their respective rooms, John tightly grips the armrest of the chair, his face serious but his eyes revealing a hint of anticipation. Alixia stands with her hands lightly placed on a high-tech control panel, expressionless but completely focused. Taktron is checking various data displayed on the screen, ensuring that all systems are operating normally. Karenmu kneels in the room, devoutly bowing his head as he looks at the runes on his mechanical arm, as if silently praying.
Wind God-class gradually slows down, and the external observation screen shows a visible distortion in the space around the ship's hull. This is a clear sign of transitioning from slipstream space back to real space, a phenomenon extremely rare within the laws of physics.
As the speed of the ship decreased, the entire bridge was suddenly surrounded by a strange silence. People could feel a subtle sense of oppression, as if the whole universe was watching them. Then, in this tense moment, a deep and deafening roar erupted from inside the ship.
The sound was like a cry from the depths of hell, as if the whole hull was shaking because of this crossing. Various instrument needles swung wildly, and data on the screens changed rapidly, as if searching for a stable state.
When everyone was holding their breath nervously, everything finally returned to calm. The shaking of the ship stopped, the red lights gradually turned back to normal blue, and all the instruments returned to normal operation.
"We have successfully left the slipstream space and entered the airspace of Yakannix Planet. Please prepare for landing," the voice of AI Boudrias sounded again, steady and firm.
Everyone on the bridge breathed a sigh of relief, but this relaxation was only temporary. They knew that ahead of them lay more unknown challenges and dangers. Whether human, Eldar, or Tau.
On the bridge, main members such as John, Alixia, Taktron, and Karenmu had already gathered nervously.
"Entering the airspace, preparing to receive communication," John ordered with a furrowed brow.
Before long, the communication screen lit up, and a uniformed communicator appeared on the screen: "Unknown vessel, this is the Yakhanix Air Traffic Control. Who are you? Why have you come to Yakhanix?"
John paused for a moment and then replied with a smile, "We are a tourist group. We heard that Yakhanix is a fascinating multicultural planet, so we came here specifically to visit."
The communications officer raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical of John's response. "Tourist group? According to our scans, your ship—Wind God-class—has multiple unauthorized weapon systems. A civilian ship shouldn't be equipped with these things, right?"
John felt a sudden tightness in his chest and quickly glanced at Karenmu and Alixia beside him, then calmly responded, "These weapons are for our self-defense in space. You know, there are various unknown forces and potential dangers in the galaxy. We just want to ensure our safety."
The communications officer fell silent for a moment, apparently having a brief exchange with superiors. Then he spoke again, "Alright, we will dispatch a patrol ship to pick you up. Please follow it to the designated landing pad. Upon arrival, you will undergo further security checks and questioning."
John nodded, "Understood, we will cooperate. Thank you."
After the communication ended, the atmosphere on the bridge became noticeably more tense. Alixia glared at John, "A sightseeing tour? Do you think they will believe this excuse?"
John replied with a wry smile, "At least we are getting closer to the goal. And as long as they don't have further suspicions, we will have more room to maneuver."
Karenmu interjected, "So, what's the next plan?"
"We proceed step by step, first completing the security check and interviews. Then, we begin the next phase of action." John tightened his fist, "Everyone, be prepared, this game has only just begun."
Everyone nodded silently, knowing that they would face even greater challenges and crises ahead, but they were ready nonetheless.
As the "Wind God-class" docked in the designated area of the space station, a tense atmosphere enveloped the cabin. John stood at the front of the line, his expression a mix of impatience and vigilance.
"Boudrias, maintain a state of alert inside the ship. If there's any unusual activity, notify me immediately."
"Understood, Captain," AI Boudrias responded calmly.
"Listen up, everyone. We are a 'tour group' from the Empire, if you catch my drift," John said, lightly touching the fake Empire ID card in his pocket and glancing at the other team members.
Alixia furrowed her brow, "Unpleasant, but if this can help us complete the mission smoothly, I'll endure it."
Taktron chuckled, "Traveling, hmm, such a thing is quite fresh in Tau's concept."
Karenmu tightly grasped his sacred mechanical device, "I'm willing to do anything as long as it gets us closer to those damn The Chaos Sect disciples."
The sound of the pipeline connecting to the hatch was accompanied by a hissing noise, indicating that the decompression process had been completed. The hatch slowly opened, and an inspector from the Yakhanix Navigation Bureau walked in, holding a data pad and a scanning device.
Later, a uniformed inspector walked in with a serious expression, holding a scanner. "Imperial tourist group, right? ID cards, please."
One by one, each team member took out their fake ID cards. The inspector carefully scanned each one with a scanner, then looked up at John.
"So, are you the leader of this 'tour group'?"
John nodded, "Yes, we are very interested in Yakhanix, especially its history and culture."
The inspector chuckled, "Well, since your ID checks out, you can go. But remember, this is not a playground, you must follow the rules."
John flashed a fake smile, "Of course, of course. Thank you, sir."
The inspector nodded and then walked away.
