The Bronze Lantern was held by Li Hao, and suddenly the green flame inside the lantern was ignited with a loud pop. Li Hao screamed in shock, his hand shook as if he had been burned, and he quickly threw the lantern to the ground, where it hit with a bang.
"What’s going on? How did the fire start? The mist is gone too!"
Li Hao jumped around, and Bai Yujing and the others quickly gathered around. Bai Yujing looked at Li Hao and said irritably, "Alright, stop making a fuss; it's not like you lost a piece of flesh!"

Bai Yujing examined it and curiously reached out to grasp the Bronze Lantern Pole. Li Hao immediately warned, "Be careful, Old Bai! This belongs to some kind of monster; there might be problems or traps!"
The moment Bai Yujing held it, he felt a chill run through him, as if something in his mind connected with the flame of the lantern. The flame ignited rapidly, even stronger than the one Li Hao had just created. The fire blazed fiercely, and Bai Yujing felt that the world he saw with his eyes transformed instantly.
There was no dense fog; the sky was clear without any mist obscuring it. Bright sunlight shone down from above, illuminating the earth. The distant mountains were all reflected in his eyes; it felt as if the entire world had jumped from hell to heaven.
"Is this the truth of this place?"
Bai Yujing stood on the hillside holding the lantern, looking around and quickly found a correct path down. It was noon, and the sunlight was bright. However, while holding the lantern, the people around him were shrouded in a hazy shadow, making it difficult to see their true appearances.
Indeed, amidst this mist, everyone walked in a space between reality and illusion. Just as Xu Lei had said. Thinking of Xu Lei made Bai Yujing feel very apologetic; he wondered what situation that young girl was in now.

The group tidied up their belongings and set off again. Bai Yujing carefully put on his backpack while A Ling came over and extended her hand: "How about I help you carry it?"
Bai Yujing looked at A Ling and Lin Ruoqiao; both had come out empty-handed from Mountain Ghost Village. After thinking for a moment, he nodded: "Alright!"
The five of them slowly descended the mountain again. Zhong Qiang even fashioned a walking stick for Bai Yujing. Under Li Hao's guidance, they gradually made their way toward Shanxia.
That night, Bai Yujing and the others found a place in the jungle to rest. With the Bronze Lantern in hand, it seemed that the wild beasts and tigers in the mountains no longer dared to attack them. However, due to losing their tent and some supplies, they gathered around the fire in a circle to make do.
The power of physical enhancement gradually seeped into Bai Yujing's body. He felt his injuries slowly improving and estimated that within two days, his body would heal automatically. Bai Yujing said resentfully: "You two better remember that!"
Just as Bai Yujing and the others stopped their idle chatter and prepared to rest, a shadow as fast as lightning darted in, grabbing a small figure draped in coarse burlap and slipping into the Mountain Spirit's Village. The two figures moved swiftly, instantly like a gust of wind passing through the Gate. Several Mountain Spirit guards didn’t even catch a glimpse of them before they vanished completely.
