Since that day, everything has been progressing step by step according to their plan. During these days, Mo Xiao Li and Mu Junqi were waiting for a suitable opportunity to reveal the true nature of Consort Xi and Consort Qian to the public, hoping to convince the Empress Dowager of their words. Mo Xiao Li furrowed his brows and looked at Consort Xi, asking, "What exactly is happening?"
"Your Majesty, for the past few days, it seems someone has been secretly watching Consort's every move. It makes Consort feel very scared even while eating and sleeping. I wonder what their intentions are," Consort Xi explained.
Mo Xiao Li smiled reassuringly and said, "The palace is heavily guarded; such things will not happen. So you can stay at Yunxi Palace with peace of mind."
However, before he could finish speaking, a shadow rushed in and knelt on the ground without hesitation. He then addressed Consort Qian, saying, "Consort Qian, I am guilty; I have failed to carry out your orders."
Everyone was clearly taken aback by this turn of events, their eyes wide as they stared at the man. Consort Qian's expression darkened as she stood up abruptly and looked at Mo Xiao Li and the others anxiously, saying, "Your Majesty, Consort does not know what this is about. Quickly send someone to capture him!" She pointed at the man.

Consort Qian's face turned red and pale as she angrily walked over to look down at the man. She felt confused about why he would say such things in this situation when he clearly knew that this matter should not be disclosed to anyone. However, at this point, her only option was to deny everything.
So he pointed at him and said, "Your Majesty, you must believe Consort's words; this man really does not know Consort."
