"They have very powerful external cannons, which, by your Earth standards, have at least a thousand volts of electricity. Be careful," the princess warned.
Ziyu glanced at the cannon; it was firing electrical energy. If that were true, Ziyu had to dodge it, or it would be disastrous. Ziyu's mech was made entirely of metal, which is a conductive material.
The missile fired by Ziyu exploded, causing the door to feel slightly loose, and then Ziyu's laser successfully created a hole in the door.
"Is the material used to manufacture the spaceship really not as hard as their battle armor material?" Ziyu asked in surprise.
"That material is quite precious. They probably think it's not worth using it to build a spaceship here, so the hard material allocated to them was turned into battle armor," the princess explained, clearly having some knowledge about this matter.
"That's good." Ziyu breathed a sigh of relief; next would be a barrage of attacks.
Ziyu had an idea and constructed a brand-new mech design in his mind, then handed it over to Zero Design.
When Ziyu reached the door, the mech completed its transformation.
The current mech was equipped with a Nuclear Molecular System, providing ample energy. Therefore, Ziyu designed the battle armor with high-energy laser emitters on all sides, allowing for immediate laser attacks.
As Ziyu approached the door, he caught a glimpse of light out of the corner of his eye and immediately stopped, retreating several steps.
"Boom..." The sound of lightning piercing through the thin atmosphere was not as crisp as on Earth; it produced a dull thud.
"Now, quickly! That weapon needs some time to charge," the princess said excitedly. "This spaceship was originally a low-end combat vessel that has been temporarily brought here... Its combat capabilities should require coordination with other allies."
Ziyu suddenly understood; that was why he felt this spaceship was somewhat weak.
The mecha's Power System advanced once again, and the mecha squeezed into the spaceship.
"Is this spaceship just cannon fodder?" Ziyu joked.
"This type of spaceship is indeed considered cannon fodder in large-scale interstellar battles," the Princess laughed.
"I occasionally hear conversations from the Guardians. It seems their planet has started a conflict with another planet, which has reduced the forces holding me captive, allowing me to contact you," the Princess said. "They placed me in this remote starfield, thinking no one would find me... Indeed, if I couldn't reach the outside world, no one would have found me."
The Princess's planet was in a hostile relationship with that planet. She had accidentally been captured as a hostage, but unexpectedly, another planet began to engage with the one that captured her. As a result, she was transferred to this secluded location, where there was only a "Technological Inferiority" Earth nearby, which posed no threat.
But who would have thought that Earth, due to the existence of organizations, had hidden technologies beyond imagination?
"The internal structure isn't very complicated; you'll find me soon," the Princess said. "Because our Signal's communication fluctuations are too obvious here, we need to temporarily cut off contact. I believe you can find me. Thank you."
"Zing..."
After the Princess finished speaking, the communication link really did cut off.
"Now it's up to us," Ziyu said, pursing her lips.
This place was definitely under real-time surveillance by Alien Creatures; every move Ziyu made was known to the enemy.
Ziyu was in the light while the enemy remained in the dark.
"Zero, this spaceship is also made of some kind of metal. Electromagnetic waves should be able to reflect off the metal surface, right? Let's see if we can simulate the entire structure using reflection," Ziyu said.
"Okay..." Zero replied, and after a while added, "I've simulated about ninety percent, but there's one area that's completely sealed off."
"That's the place we need to go first. Zero, simulate the circuit," Ziyu speculated that this area was where the princess was being held.
This spaceship was originally a low-tier vessel, so it shouldn't have any secrets. The presence of an undetectable area must indicate where the princess was located.
"Activate all lasers except for the one aimed at the princess's location," Ziyu thought resolutely. Since she wasn't coming out, they would destroy everything else.
Ziyu radiated a brilliant light, and everything in its path was shattered.
"What should we do?" an alien in the Control Room asked as he watched Ziyu's actions.
"Put on your Battle Armor; let's go together," a Squad Leader said.
~~~~~~~~~
"We're almost there..." Ziyu spotted a bright area ahead, which turned out to be a room entirely white. In front of them was a large transparent substance resembling glass, with white lights inside. There was also a faint silhouette visible within.
"Sir, the Mecha Nuclear Molecular System is underperforming, and the Laser power consumption is too high. Should we stop?"
"Let's pause for now," Ziyu decided that stopping wouldn't cause any issues.
"Ugh..." A sharp cry sounded not far behind Ziyu. Turning around, Ziyu saw more than ten Guardians appearing immediately after Ziyu had shut down the Laser.
"Come and get it quickly..."
Ziyu turned to face the group of Guardians, thinking about a countermeasure.
The Battle Armor of these Guardians could not be destroyed by Ziyu's attacks, and the Guardians could not harm Ziyu's Battle Armor. Both sides were in a stalemate.
"Zero, can you hold them off?"
"I can. What does the sir want?"
"Get me out of here."
Ziyu's breathing relied on the small Battle Armor inside, as the mech was currently only storing supplies, transportation, and combat tools.
"Bang."
The mech opened in a position unseen by those Alien Life, and Ziyu quickly flew out from inside. The mech did not stop its movement and ran towards the aliens.
Ziyu glanced back at the mech, which could still hold them off for a while, then immediately ran to the white room, looking through the transparent "glass."
"This is actually..." Ziyu widened his eyes. This princess really is a princess; she looks exactly like a human... but that's not the point.
"Xia Yun..." Ziyu stood there in a daze, realizing that this princess looked exactly like Xia Yun... Ziyu remained motionless, his mind in chaos, as everything about Xia Yun surfaced in his thoughts.
Xia Yun's infatuation with him, her silent departure after "Heavenly Omen," and the waiting at Jing Mountain...
"Hey, hey, let me out!" The princess tapped on the transparent material, standing in front of Ziyu with an unhappy expression.
"Identical..." Ziyu's understanding of Xia Yun was completely reflected in this princess; even her previous actions and expressions were quite similar.
"I never expected to meet such a girl in this time and space... Is it fate...?"
"I'm sorry, I'll let you out now..." Ziyu smiled apologetically, pushing aside those chaotic thoughts.
The Violet Feather Armor, equipped with a Laser System, directly shattered the material and brought the princess down.
"Um... we need to get out; those people are bothering us... and you don't have..." Ziyu took a deep breath, "I mean, we need to get out. I want to hold you and fly out, is that okay?"
The princess chuckled softly, leaning against Ziyu: "Lucky you."
In truth, the princess's words had no other meaning; Ziyu understood that well, but he couldn't help but blush uncontrollably.
