Above the Pacific Ocean.
Ziyu quickly arrived here, where a massive spaceship was hovering above the sea, and countless small objects were flying from the spaceship in all directions.
"It seems like..." Ziyu observed, "they're not attacking?"
Ziyu thought that if these objects were meant for an attack, they would have acted long ago.
"What are you doing?" Ziyu shouted in Universal Language.
"Universal Language?" On the spaceship, a figure dressed in a black robe that completely concealed their face looked surprised at the small figure in front of the spaceship. "It seems Earthlings have ventured beyond their planet... let's go take a look."
With a wave of his hand, a flash of light appeared, and the man transformed into countless specks of light. As the light permeated out of the spaceship and reached outside the Hexagonal Shield, it reassembled into his original form.
Seeing someone suddenly appear before him, Ziyu immediately became alert... although he knew that if this person truly intended to attack, he would definitely be no match.
"Don't be nervous; I'm just here for an on-site investigation..." The figure spoke in a hoarse yet clear voice. "If you need to know something from me, just invite me over. I believe I can answer everything you don't understand about Earth..."
Ziyu's gaze turned cold as he rushed towards the man, then spun around and launched six small nuclear bombs!
After creating some distance, Ziyu turned back and fired countless lasers at the man. The nuclear bombs exploded, obscuring the figure, but...
As the smoke cleared, it revealed that the man's body was covered by a hexagonal protective layer, and both the explosions and laser strikes had occurred outside this protective layer, causing no harm to him at all.
A slight smile seemed to appear at the corners of the man's concealed mouth as he extended his palm, with pieces of textured metal wrapping around his hand.
"Let me show you my attack." The man extended his arm towards Ziyu, who was at least a hundred meters away.
As his arm slowly descended, Ziyu found himself completely immobilized; a pressure from all directions made it difficult for him to breathe.
"This... you..." Ziyu gritted his teeth, but he couldn't move at all, let alone speak normally.
The man waved his hand again, and Ziyu was struck by an unmatched powerful energy, sending him flying away.
"Completely unable to resist..." Ziyu's consciousness was clear, and the feeling of knowing what was happening but having no ability to fight back was truly frustrating.
The man raised his hand high and then quickly brought it down.
Ziyu's body followed the man's gesture, shooting up into the sky and then crashing down at a tremendous speed onto the surface of the water.
"It hurts..." Ziyu gritted his teeth.
The high-speed impact with the water was painful indeed.
The force of the water even deformed Ziyu's Battle Armor, which shows just how great the impact was.
"You have two choices: one is to take me and learn about this planet, trying your best to satisfy me; the other is... to die right here."
Under the man's control, Ziyu flew in front of him.
"What... do you want?" Ziyu managed to ask with difficulty.
"I am the Messenger, here to assess the results," the man said.
"Messenger, assess the results?" Ziyu showed a hint of mockery. "Your results can't possibly be the technology on Earth. That is our achievement... and..."
Ziyu looked at the spaceship behind the Messenger: "You think so highly of our backward technology?"
"Well... let me talk to you then... after all, we might not be enemies," the Messenger smiled and then led Ziyu into the cabin... while the spaceship continued to send out small flying devices around the world.
"Don't try to send a Signal, it's useless," the Messenger said with a smile, pulling back the hood of the black robe that obscured their face.
Ziyu looked at the Messenger in front of them and also removed their Battle Armor.
Ziyu was left speechless because everything about this Messenger, from their features to their expressions, was completely human-like.
"I won't hide it from you; my spacecraft is collecting various data about Earth, not just technology, but also History, culture, customs, and so on..." the Messenger explained.
"You don't need to speak; I just need to talk. I believe that once you know everything, you won't resist me as much," the Messenger said, lightly tapping their fingers on the seat. "We look alike, but don't think we are a similar race. We are entirely in a creator and created relationship... Oh? Sky actually has another spaceship hidden here..."
Ziyu realized that the organization's spaceship had also been discovered.
"The information we've gathered includes your name, Ziyu, and that you are the person with the highest technology on Earth..." the Messenger listed a series of things that Ziyu had done.
Ziyu remained silent.
"Alright, I know there’s a lot you don’t understand. Now I will explain things to you; surely you already know some of it..." the Messenger continued.
The timeline rewound to Six Hundred Thousand Years Ago.
On a planet within the Yufeng Universe Nation, a batch of life forms was manufactured... Yes, manufactured—independent beings without parents or relatives. As for their appearance, they were modeled after the humans living on that planet at the time. The scientists there predicted the evolutionary trends of the planet's inhabitants and encoded these trends into the genes of this batch of created beings.
The Yufeng Universe Nation searched within its territory for one hundred thousand planets devoid of intelligent life that were suitable for these manufactured beings to inhabit and marked them down.
The planet where life was created was called Ali Star.
Ali Star produced a large number of life forms and then dispatched these beings to various marked planets... Of course, before departure, Ali Star would set up a program so that when these individuals arrived at their target planets, they would lose all memory and start new lives.
The creation of these beings by Ali Star was not merely for amusement; they intended to study something. Thus, they created additional life forms to observe the lives and evolutionary conditions of these amnesiac individuals.
The souls of these beings are limited, unable to act out of line, not even in death, and they cannot evolve or emerge... they are simply slaves.
Ziyu understood this by now.
Humans on Earth were created by the Ali Star people. Those creatures in the depths of the sea, in Shennongjia, and in Egypt were meant to study how data from humans on Earth was transmitted to Ali Star.
Ali Star gives each planet a deadline, and the deadline for humans on Earth is set for 2060...
When the deadline arrives, Ali Star will send a investigating Messenger to the planet to assess its evolutionary status, calculating potential based on development speed and other factors to decide whether to cancel the project...
Canceling the project means destroying the entire planet.
The beings sent to different planets are all manufactured differently, despite having similar appearances; they are produced based on different codes.
"We are just test subjects, right? Why?" Ziyu knew that if Earth's current level of development did not satisfy Ali Star, then Earth would be destroyed.
"In a way... yes..." The Messenger took a deep breath. "However, this is something that must be done; it's not just the Yufeng Universe Nation that is involved... It's urgent; we need power..."
The Messenger surprisingly showed signs of fatigue.
