As Mao Wang was thrown out the door, a beam of light suddenly flashed in that direction. The sudden appearance of the white light brightened the entire space, and my eyes, already smeared with blood, could no longer make out my surroundings. 0

Mao Wang's screams became even more piercing under the strong light, which was quite distressing. I turned away, trying to escape this unexpected brightness. But the light seemed to be everywhere; no matter which direction I looked, it felt like a beam was shining directly on my face. My eyes throbbed painfully from the intensity, swelling as if they might burst. 0

I struggled to cover my eyes with my hands and retreated into the room, trying to distance myself from the blinding light. In my desperate struggle, I seemed to catch a glimpse of a figure darting past the doorway. It was Mao Wang! He was shielding his eyes, hunched over, stumbling forward. Before he could fully escape through the door, he was engulfed by the white light. In the end, his silhouette vanished into the brightness. 0

Meanwhile, I remained trapped in place. The surrounding white light grew increasingly dazzling, making it nearly impossible for me to open my eyes. It felt as though needles were piercing them, causing both soreness and pain. At the same time, my eyes began to burn intensely, tears streaming uncontrollably as everything before me blurred into obscurity. 0

I struggled to see clearly but no matter how hard I tried, everything remained a haze. I wanted to scream, but my voice caught in my throat; I couldn't produce a sound. My breathing quickened, and I felt my heart racing faster and faster. An unprecedented sense of fear enveloped me; I had no idea what would happen next. 0

All I could do was helplessly crouch on the ground, hands clutching my head, trying to curl up as tightly as possible. Time passed slowly; each second felt like an eternity while my eyes continued to ache unbearably. It felt as if they were being scorched by fire—painful and intensifying with each moment. My eyes had turned bloodshot, as if they might bleed at any moment. 0

I could even clearly feel my eyeballs trembling, as if they were about to burst at any moment. I felt an unprecedented sense of despair. Was I really going to die here? I struggled to get up, wanting to escape this place. But my body felt as if it were bound by something, unable to move. 0

Suddenly, the light disappeared! Gradually, I felt the sharp pain fade away. I opened my eyes and saw that the white light enveloping me was slowly dissipating. My body also gradually came to a stop. Finally, I gently landed on the ground. I let out a long sigh of relief; although I didn't know what had happened, I was grateful to have been saved. 0

Then, I looked up and suddenly froze. The scene around me became extraordinarily clear. I could even see the dense cracks on the wall, the cobwebs in the corners, and even the dust on the floor, all in vivid detail. I instinctively blinked to confirm that my eyes were normal, but strangely enough—my vision seemed to be several times better than before. 0

Even in this darkness, I could still see everything around me clearly. I stood there in a daze, looking around and realizing that what had once been blurry was now exceptionally clear. Even a small bump on the ground in the distance was visible to me. I was astonished as I touched my eyes, confirming that they hadn't changed in any way; yet strangely—this feeling... was exactly like what I had experienced in my dreams before. 0
