"Digging through houses" is a term used in the collecting community, referring to going into old houses with historical significance to find and acquire antiques. "Did you find anything?" Sheng Qingxi sat down across from Zhang Feng and handed him the untouched cup of milk.
"Only one piece of black ground five-color Tang Kiln pottery; the rest didn't have much collectible value!" Zhang Feng took a sip of milk, feeling a bit less tired.

The Tang Kiln refers to porcelain produced by the famous supervisor of kilns during the Qing Dynasty, Tang Ying, in Jingdezhen. Tang Ying supervised the kilns in Jingdezhen for nearly thirty years, making him the longest-serving and most successful supervisor at the imperial kiln factory there. He diligently studied Tang Kiln pottery techniques, gaining extensive experience while also scientifically summarizing production skills in Jingdezhen's porcelain industry. He authored several works including "Brief Discussion on Pottery Techniques," "Illustrations of Pottery," "Chronicles of Pottery," and "Instructions on Porcelain Matters." The porcelain from the Tang Kiln is exquisite, achieving unprecedented levels of craftsmanship and quality. In the book "Chinese Porcelain", it states: "Chinese porcelain reached its pinnacle at the Tang Kiln, truly embodying all past achievements in production. This is reflected in decorative methods, design shapes, and porcelain-making techniques." The decorative techniques alone include fifty-seven types of high- and low-temperature glazes; in terms of painting, it encompasses everything from landscapes to figures and flowers, with various styles represented by famous artists; regarding design shapes, it ranges from ancient ceremonial vessels to fruit-shaped designs.
"The original collector was quite famous in the industry; I thought his collection would be extraordinary, but it turns out there weren't many good pieces. I'm a bit disappointed," said Zhang Feng, finishing off his milk and standing up. "It's late; you should go rest! I need to shower and then sleep too."
The next day, Sheng Qingxi woke up at ten o'clock. He put bread into the toaster, fried an egg, heated up some milk, and just as he was about to eat, he remembered his uncle returning late last night. So he made another breakfast for him. "You child, you never let me have any advantage; you're not as cute as you used to be!" sighed Zhang Feng, shaking his head with an expression that said "the child has grown up and isn't as obedient anymore; it's so disappointing."
Sheng Qingxi hurriedly ate faster, realizing that when it came to arguing with his uncle over who was at a disadvantage, he always ended up losing. It was better to finish eating quickly and leave.
"Xi, what are your plans next?" Zhang Feng was still very concerned about his nephew.
"I'm going to City D."
"City D?"
