The crew had never seen Sheng Qingxi lose his temper; they never knew that the director could be so terrifying when angry. Of course, Sheng Qingxi didn't do much—he neither scolded them nor smashed anything, he just made a few phone calls. But those few calls ended Huang Yingmei's career. They knew the director had connections; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to direct a film at such a young age. However, they never imagined that the power behind the director was so great that it could determine the future of a famous actor. Huang Yingmei was not an ordinary actress; she had once won the Best Actress title and had quite a few fans. Yet, just because she offended the director, she was put on ice by the company. It was too... too... too satisfying! The other actors were also angry at Huang Yingmei's irresponsible behavior.
"Don't provoke the director!" This was the consensus among all crew members. As a result, Sheng Qingxi found that filming went much smoother, with many shots passing in one take. He was surprised by the actors' explosive performances but didn't realize that it all stemmed from his own outburst.
"Director, Sister Yingmei isn't coming anymore. What about the queen's scenes? Should we shoot them last? I'll contact other actresses," the assistant director discussed the queen's casting issue with Sheng Qingxi during a break. They confirmed several actresses with good acting skills and presence, but when the assistant director called their agents, he found that all of them were busy and couldn't spare time for a cameo as the queen.
"No need!" Sheng Qingxi said with a confident expression. "I have someone in mind for the role of the queen."
"Really?" The assistant director was excited. "Who is it? When will she come to the set?"
Sheng Qingxi chuckled and turned his gaze to Bai Tang, who was discussing which brand of makeup had better quality with the makeup artist. "What do you think about Bai Tang playing the queen?"
"Her?" The assistant director frowned and assessed her from afar. "She looks pretty good, and she has a naturally classical aura. But can she act?"
"How would we know if we don't give it a try? Anyway, if we can't find anyone else for now, if Bai Tang really can't perform well, we can always look for someone else." Sheng Qingxi laughed slyly; he finally found an excuse to get Bai Tang involved in his movie and had to seize this opportunity.

"Bai Tang, please help me! I've contacted many actresses with Old Bear, but they are all busy. If I can't find anyone to play the queen, my film will be in trouble. You're my friend; you wouldn't want my first movie to end in failure, would you?"
"You can shoot that scene last; I don't believe you can't find a single actress during this time," Bai Tang calmly sipped her cola while playing an online game on her laptop.
"I really can't find anyone! All suitable actresses are busy for at least three months. My film is set to finish shooting in a month and is scheduled for release three months later; I simply can't wait for them. As for other actresses who are available, they aren't suitable for the queen role." Sheng Qingxi clasped his hands together with a pleading smile. "Bai Tang, please help me!"
"I don't meet the requirements, do I?" Bai Tang was controlling a character on the computer to complete a treasure-hunting mission when she was killed by a player from the opposing faction who was in kill mode while passing by the city moat. Furious, Bai Tang respawned in the city, donned a set of dazzling golden armor, and rushed off for revenge.
"Absolutely suitable!" Sheng Qingxi immediately replied. "You not only have a classical aura but also an air of superiority that looks down on mortals, making you perfect for playing a queen."
"Really? How come I didn't know?" Bai Tang had already found her enemy and charged in without hesitation to attack.
"Classical? Superior?" Bai Tang thought to herself, puzzled about how she was so impressive without realizing it.
"Indeed! In fact, your aura is more suited for playing a fairy who looks down on the mundane world. It's a pity I don't have such a role available," Sheng Qingxi said regretfully.
Bai Tang understood then that the game's influence on her had already blended into her real life. As a cultivator on the verge of transcending, she naturally possessed an extraordinary quality that set her apart from ordinary people. Although she tried hard to act like her old self, she could no longer return to who she once was.

"Shut up..." Bai Tang couldn't stand the noise anymore and shot Sheng Qingxi a glare while her hands moved swiftly over the controls.
"Such incredible speed!" Sheng Qingxi exclaimed. He didn't know that Bai Tang used to be a gaming novice, with poor skills that often left her confused during PvP encounters; her reaction speed couldn't keep up with her brain.
Under Bai Tang's powerful control, her enemy was killed back at their respawn point. Bai Tang proudly lifted her head, feeling good and finding everything pleasing to the eye.
"If you want me to help you, that's fine, but you can't reveal my name or identity," Bai Tang stated. She still had some interest in acting but didn't want to lose her private space like celebrities; she had no desire for the spotlight.
"Okay, I promise!" Sheng Qingxi jumped up joyfully and pulled Bai Tang along to find the Makeup Artist.
"Your skin is really beautiful!" the Makeup Artist exclaimed. She had done makeup for many female celebrities, and none of them, including teenage girls, had skin as good as Bai Tang's. It was truly like creamy jade, delicate and flawless, as smooth as silk and as supple as reeds. "How do you take care of it?"
"I don't have any special skincare routine. I just drink plenty of water and sleep a lot, and that's it," Bai Tang replied dismissively. She really didn't have any good methods for skincare.
The Makeup Artist, feeling envious at not receiving any skincare tips, thickly applied powder on Bai Tang's face, instantly turning her healthy complexion pale and sickly.
"Alright!" The Makeup Artist patted Bai Tang's shoulder, prompting her to open her eyes.
Bai Tang was stunned to see a classical beauty in the mirror. Was that really her? Was she this beautiful? With phoenix eyes and starry pupils, ruby lips and pearly teeth, her pale complexion exuded a kind of sickly beauty. Her long black hair had strands of silver, and the rough blue palace dress could not hide her cold and noble aura.
"My taste is still good; you look just like a queen! Old Bear, don't you think?" Sheng Qingxi asked the Assistant Director proudly.

The oriole returns while the swallow departs quietly; spring goes and autumn comes without remembering the years. This is how the queen in the Cold Palace looks. Director Sheng, let's hurry up and shoot!"
