Suddenly, Xie Xun pointed at an old man among the Huashan crowd and said, "Cheng Kun! Step forward and resolve our grievances before all these heroes!"
Everyone was taken aback as they saw the old man hunched over, looking disheveled and completely different from Cheng Kun. Just as Zhang Wuji was about to say, "He is not Cheng Kun," he heard Xie Xun say again, "Cheng Kun, you have changed your appearance, but you cannot change your voice. At the sound of your cough, I know who you are."
With his identity exposed, Cheng Kun immediately tried to escape. However, everyone in the martial arts world knew that Cheng Kun was a spy for the Mongolians. Upon hearing his name, how could the Huashan people let him get away? Huashan's leader Bai Heng crossed his palms and attacked Cheng Kun.
After Song Qingshu returned to Wudang from the valley, he revealed that Xuan Yutong had harmed his wife Hu Qingyang for the position of leader and had killed his brother Bai Yuan. As a result, Huashan discovered evidence that Xuan Yutong had murdered his own senior brother Bai Yuan. Xuan Yutong was expelled from the sect, and the leadership passed to Bai Yuan's younger brother Bai Heng.
Cheng Kun could not evade the entire Huashan Sect's attack and could only leap into the center of the square.
Xie Xun shouted loudly, "Heroes from all directions listen! My martial arts were taught to me by this master Cheng Kun. However, he betrayed my wife and killed my parents and children. No matter how close my master is to me, he cannot compare to my own parents. Seeking revenge on him is justified, isn't it?"

The force behind those kicks was incredibly powerful; even though Xie Xun had a robust physique, he could not withstand it and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Zhang Wuji was both anxious and worried. He wanted to call Xie Xun to fight back, but Xie Xun had already sealed his acupoints, and Yu Lianzhou wouldn't release him. The child was so anxious that sweat poured down his face.
Xie Xun swayed a few times and said, "You are my master. Receiving your two legs and one palm is my repayment for your kindness in raising me."
After saying this, he suddenly let out a long howl and swung his palm fiercely.
The two exchanged blows, just like the ending of the original story; Cheng Kun finally died at Xie Xun's hands. However, this time Xie Xun did not expend all his martial arts; he still needed to keep his skills to deal with the Six Major Sects and protect Ming Jiao. Even though he and Yin Zheng took turns to fight, they ultimately lost. The followers all struggled to get up; except for those severely injured and unable to move, everyone sat cross-legged with their fingers spread wide, raised in front of their chests, mimicking flames soaring, reciting the scriptures of Ming Jiao: "Burn my broken body, blazing holy fire; what joy is there in life, what suffering in death? To do good and eliminate evil, only for the sake of light; joy and sorrow all return to dust. Have compassion for us mortals, for we suffer greatly! Have compassion for us mortals, for we suffer greatly!"
Yu Lianzhou thought to himself: "These few lines of scripture must be what the followers of the demonic sect recite before they die. The scripture does not mention their own death but instead expresses compassion for the many troubles of others; this is truly a spirit of great benevolence and courage. The founder of Ming Jiao was indeed an extraordinary person. It's a pity that it has become a stronghold for wrongdoing in later generations."
Zhang Wuji was unable to stop his adoptive father and grandfather from committing suicide; he could only help them gather their remains with tears in his eyes.
Song Qingshu helped Zhang Wuji collect the remains and comforted him, saying, "Don't be sad. Senior Xie and Senior Yin sought righteousness and found it; they died with dignity. Otherwise, if Ming Jiao were destroyed while they were still alive, they would live in unease all their lives."
Zhang Wuji sobbed, "Why did Ming Jiao rebel? If they hadn't rebelled, the Six Major Sects wouldn't have attacked them!"
Song Qingshu replied, "It's all due to greed. Ming Jiao has been intent on seizing power; it's a pity that from the Tang Dynasty until now, the times have not favored them."
Suddenly, Song Qingshu paused. Zhang Wuji quickly asked, "Senior Brother Song, what's wrong?"
Song Qingshu did not answer him. After a moment, he ran seriously to find Yu Lianzhou and Zhang Songxi.
"Second Uncle, Third Uncle, Fourth Uncle, Seventh Uncle, just now Senior Bai transmitted a message that Mongolian forces have set an ambush on the way back from the Six Major Sects' mountain path, intending to capture all six of our sects in one fell swoop."
"These murderous Mongolians!" Zhang Songxi cursed angrily and began to analyze the situation rationally. Mo Shenggu nudged Song Qingshu with his elbow and said, "Qingshu, Miss Zhou is from the White Camel Mountain Villa and is quite skilled in using poison. You can take the opportunity during the discussion to get closer to her!"
Song Qingshu's cheeks flushed lightly as he pretended to be calm and replied, "I will ask Miss Zhou for help."
Yu Lianzhou said, "We need to quickly inform the other sects so they can prepare."
Zhang Songxi replied, "I will send my disciples to notify the Five Sects right away."

Song Qingshu also married Zhou Zhiruo.
