Time passed quickly, and Li Rui arrived at the next mountain range. The soil here was quite moist, and a bloody scent lingered in the air.
Suddenly, it began to rain lightly.
This mountain range was even more dangerous; the thunderous roars made one shiver involuntarily, prompting Li Rui to heighten his vigilance.
A deafening roar echoed from above, as if the earth itself were about to shatter, sending chills down one's spine. However, there were no monsters in sight. Li Rui thought that rather than being tormented like this, it would be better to engage in a fierce battle; this kind of torment was truly unbearable.
Fengyun Valley was terrifying! Dark clouds loomed overhead, and in the distance, a sharp-eyed eagle seemed to be constantly watching Li Rui, circling in the sky as if monitoring every move below. Occasionally, he thought he saw a flash of crimson; Li Rui rubbed his eyes. Raindrops fell onto his handsome face, and the vibrant red in the sky vanished, making the surroundings increasingly eerie.
Li Rui stepped on some gravel, producing sparse footsteps. The surroundings grew even quieter, and he couldn't help but raise his guard.
In a distant green bush, concealed by green plants, a blood-red eye watched Li Rui's every move!
Suddenly, something lunged out! Li Rui let out a sharp scream as he was knocked to the ground by a creature he hadn't yet seen clearly. He stumbled and quickly got back up.
He thought to himself that it finally showed up; otherwise, he would have been tormented to death in this Beast Forest today.
What appeared was a gray wolf, its white fangs and sharp claws leaving marks on the ground. Its blood-red eyes fixed intently on Li Rui with murderous intent.
A light breeze brushed against Li Rui's sleeve as he lifted his foot to dodge the Evil Wolf's fierce pounce! Li Rui calmly brushed off the dust on his clothes and then noticed a large pool of saliva beside him. The foul stench hit him hard, making him feel nauseous.
He never expected that in Fengyun Valley, there were creatures that wanted to eat him; did he really seem so delicious like prey?
The Evil Wolf refused to give Li Rui any chance to catch his breath. It opened its jaws wide and lunged at Li Rui's thigh. In an instant, a look of shock crossed Li Rui's eyes; he hadn't anticipated that this wolf's bite force would be so strong. With quick reflexes, he dodged just in time, feeling cold sweat break out on his forehead.
"It was you who forced me!" Li Rui's foot was filled with killing intent, and a hint of wickedness suddenly appeared on his youthful face.
In the Beast Forest, every creature engaged in fierce battles for survival! It was cruel yet realistic.
Li Rui let out a roar and then kicked towards the Evil Wolf's abdomen! The Evil Wolf was no pushover either; it turned around to bite, but Li Rui's strength seemed capable of shattering stones, sending the Evil Wolf flying through the air. With a whimper, it landed on the ground, feeling as if its insides were about to be kicked out.
However, seeing this delicious prey before it, the tender meat made the Evil Wolf drool again! Everything was driven by temptation, and at that moment, hunger reignited the Evil Wolf's fighting spirit. It got back up, now aware of Li Rui's power, and dared not attack recklessly. Instead, it waited for an opportunity to strike a fatal blow.
But Li Rui seemed unwilling to give it a chance. He caught sight of a giant tree nearby. Then he stood up and glared, using the force of his body! At that moment, the ancient principle came into play, but now the Evil Wolf had to dodge.
Its blood-red eyes grew increasingly ferocious, drool dripping from its mouth. Yet this prey before it seemed unappetizing.
While the Evil Wolf was dazed, Li Rui had quietly approached it, pressing all his strength against the Evil Wolf's side. He then swung his fists down onto the Evil Wolf's head.
The Evil Wolf tried to rise, but it felt as if hundreds of pounds were weighing it down; it couldn't turn over at all. Li Rui's delicate fists rained down on the Evil Wolf's head one after another. Before long, blood began to flow, splattering onto the ground in a terrifying crimson stream.
Li Rui felt as if he had exhausted all his strength when he noticed that the Evil Wolf beneath him had gone silent. The Evil Wolf was dead, beaten to death by Li Rui's relentless punches.
Li Rui wiped the sweat from his brow and stood up. The Evil Wolf lay limp on the ground, motionless, but its blood-red eyes continued to stare vacantly into space, terrifying and fierce.
Li Rui dared not look directly at it; he merely snorted coldly and patted his fair and tender hands as if feeling quite relaxed. He opened his red lips and said nonchalantly, "Hmph, if you want to eat me, you're still too young!"
If the Evil Wolf were alive, it would surely be infuriated; however, now lying on the ground, it could only breathe weakly.
Li Rui did not want to stay in place, as he had already caused some commotion there and was afraid of attracting more attention. In this Beast Forest, he was not the only Demon; there were thousands of others.
Although he could handle this Evil Wolf, it was just one among many, and there were a large number of Monsters that he simply could not contend with.
On the forest path, maple leaves danced in the air, swaying with the wind. Amidst the towering maple trees, an inexplicable aura lingered.
Li Rui felt a chill run down his back. He wasn't sure if it was from the sweat he had just broken out in or something else; he just felt cold. Nevertheless, he pressed forward with determination, silently praying for a clear path ahead. His flesh was not appetizing; it was hard to eat.
But ultimately, his wishes went unfulfilled. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground. Suddenly, he saw a dark figure ahead and quickly raised his head.
The ground was soaked in blood, and a Grizzly Bear stood right in front of him, pounding its chest to show its strength. The booming sound made Li Rui's heart tremble. He clearly did not want to encounter a roadblock like this but found himself face-to-face with such a powerful creature.
Li Rui calmly assessed that this Grizzly Bear must have just finished eating; otherwise, how could it have blood around its mouth? He noticed that the bear's pupils were also deep red! This made Li Rui freeze in place. Although bears typically had better eyesight, this was a close encounter since the Grizzly Bear was only about a meter away from him.
A foul stench assaulted his senses, extremely unpleasant! However, facing such a creature, Li Rui felt like an ant utterly powerless. Just as he was about to turn and run, the Grizzly Bear's arm seemed to stretch five or six meters and pulled him into its embrace! Li Rui wanted to resist, but its speed was too fast; under the bear's strong arms, he felt utterly incapable of making any movement!
