Li Rui instinctively heightened his guard; although he was pleased to encounter another person in this wilderness, in this treacherous world, he would not easily trust anyone.
"Where are you headed?" The man slightly parted his thin lips, a hint of indifference flashing in his eyes, yet his face bore a friendly expression.
Li Rui adjusted himself as the breeze lifted his sleeves and replied.
"Out of Fengyun Valley!" It was a simple answer but delivered with such decisiveness!
"Oh?" The man seemed quite surprised that a delicate woman could make such a statement; she must be a martial artist as well.
Li Rui felt displeased by his skepticism. "What? Do you look down on me?" she retorted sharply, though her guard had lessened somewhat.
"I wouldn't dare; it's just that there are things about Fengyun Valley you should know," the man said, standing with his hands behind his back.
Li Rui listened but became even more confused. "What do you mean? Wait, how do you know all this? Are you some kind of deity?"
The unfamiliar man piqued Li Rui's interest even more.
"I'm not that skilled, just like to wander around aimlessly, hehe," the man said, scratching his head awkwardly. Upon hearing this, Li Rui shot him a sharp glare. Following that, the man revealed the secrets of Fengyun Valley to Li Rui.
Through him, Li Rui learned the secret of Fengyun Valley!
It turned out that there was a Blood Pool in Fengyun Valley! This Blood Pool was formed after a Demon killed everyone in a village.
The man sighed deeply and said, "I was one of those who entered Fengyun Valley back then; now I have returned solely for revenge!" His words were filled with determination as he clenched his fists tightly, making a creaking sound. It felt as if the hatred coursing through him had taken over his entire being, and at that moment, Li Rui felt a bit of pity for him.
