"Will this war ever come to an end?" Leo asked, his eyes filled with confusion and doubt. 0

Mike took a deep breath. "It all started with Xyphos's invasion. You ask when the war will end? My answer is, when the last Insect tribe is eliminated, the war will end." 0

"Kill them all? All the Xyphos, even the ones that are still larvae, innocent?" 0

Mike stared harshly at Leo, "Yes. You wouldn't understand, because you haven't lost loved ones. My family died in the Xyphos invasion, even the children were not spared. They are not sentient beings, they are tools of extinction." 0

Leo looked displeased, "So will you become like them? Becoming a tool to exterminate others?" 0

"It's not the same!" Mike roared, "We are defending ourselves, defending our homeland, while they are here to destroy us." 0

"But this war is not just a simple black-and-white, good-versus-evil confrontation," Leo firmly countered. "There are too many gray areas in this war, and your approach will only expand those gray areas, causing more suffering. We should seek a more peaceful resolution, one that allows the two species to coexist." 0

"Peace? Coexist with Xyphos? You sound like one of those fanatical members of The Cult of the Celestial Worm," Mike sneered. "In this war, that kind of thinking is betrayal." 0

"If seeking peace is betrayal, then I am willing to be a traitor," Leo answered without hesitation. 0

The two of them stared at each other, the atmosphere like a powder keg about to explode, ready to ignite conflict at any moment. 0

"Very well, if you're willing to gamble on the future of humanity for those monsters, then go ahead and do it. But don't drag the rest of us down with you," Mike said coldly. 0

The conversation between the two fell into an awkward silence, as if the air had solidified. Mike calmed his nerves and sighed deeply, breaking the silence. "I have to say, this atmosphere before taking action is not a good sign, Leo," he said with a hint of sarcasm in his tone. 0

Leo smiled slightly, "Haha, maybe this is the turning point we need." 0

Mike couldn't help but smile too, suddenly feeling a bit relieved, "Well, I hope you can have a chat with the Insect tribe on the battlefield tomorrow and understand their feelings a bit more." 0

Leo flashed a mischievous smile. "Of course, I'll be responsible for getting their attention, and you seize the opportunity to deliver a fatal blow." 0

Mike also smiled, then his tone turned serious. "Third time's the charm. We all know this rule. We may have different methods and ideas, but in this galaxy, we are all soldiers on the same front." 0

Leo nodded, "Yes, what we should do now is to focus on finding a way for everyone to survive." 0

Mike smiled with a hint of emotion, "There has never been a simple war, and there is never just one way to solve a problem." 0

The two stood up and embraced each other tightly, creating an unspoken understanding and support in that moment. "Goodnight, Leo," Mike said softly, his eyes revealing a hint of reluctance. 0

"Good night, Mike," Leo responded, equally meaningful. 0

They each walked back to their own dormitory, with a sense of unease and pressure in their hearts, but also with a new sense of belief and determination. This deep conversation not only relieved the pressure in their hearts, but also made them understand more clearly that even in this cruel cosmic battlefield, it is still possible to find a path for everyone to survive. 0

Tomorrow, they will once again step onto the battlefield of blood and fire. However, at least in this moment, they all deeply believe that as long as there is love and faith in their hearts, they will surely find the brilliant starry sky that belongs to them. 0

At four in the morning, Leo got up early from bed. The data pad in his hand was flashing with a faint light, as if calling out to him. He turned on the data pad, and the detailed plan and deployment for this operation popped up on the screen. He squinted at the liquid crystal screen, observing with concentration. 0

The 3D map gradually zoomed in on the screen, revealing an overview of a deep valley. The realistic terrain markings made the entire plan more vivid. The nest of the Insect tribe was clearly marked, like a black hole, waiting for them to go and destroy it. 0

"Alpha Team needs to make a beautiful attack, enough to attract the firepower and attention of the Insect tribe," Leo muttered to himself, thinking about how to most effectively carry out the feint attack. He had to admit that Alpha Team's mission was extremely dangerous, but it was also crucial to the success of the plan. 0

Next, his gaze shifted to the mission led by Mike's squad. The squad will be responsible for destroying supply bugs and communication bugs to disrupt their psychic communication range and create chaos within the swarm. 0

"Mike is an outstanding warrior, able to maximize the effectiveness of every deployment. I am confident in entrusting this mission to him," Leo silently cheered for Mike in his heart, despite occasional differences of opinion between the two, he fully trusts Mike's judgment and abilities. 0

Then Leo carefully read the plan for his own responsibility, the Bravo Team. The "Ghost Sniper" would occupy the high ground for cover. Once the Alpha squad successfully attracted the attention of the Insect tribe, the Bravo Team would command the "wolf pack" and "Iron Fist" tactical squads to swiftly move through the chaotic battlefield and enter the center of the insect nest. 0

"This is the crucial moment for the Bravo Team. We must ensure that the bomb can be successfully set and safely evacuated," Leo thought. He knew that any mistake could lead to the failure of the entire operation, putting not only the mission at risk but also the lives of his team members. 0

He took a deep breath and tried hard to suppress his nervousness. His thoughts drifted back to the conversation with Mike, where they had disagreed on strategy but shared the same goal: to ensure the success of the mission and the safety of everyone. 0

At that moment, Leo stood up and picked up his helmet and gear hanging on the wall. He tightly gripped his weapon, feeling a sense of security from the cold steel. 0

"The mission today is dangerous, but I have prepared myself fully," Leo told himself as he walked through the dim corridor towards the training ground. He needed to practice again to ensure he was fully prepared for the upcoming mission. 0

In this uncertain world, every step must be cautious, and every small detail could be the turning point between success and failure. For Leo, he would not let any factors that could potentially affect the safety of himself and his team exist. 0

His steps were steady but fast, as if he was already rehearsing the upcoming battle. Upon entering the training ground, he began his practice, with each movement carefully calculated and adjusted, as if for the final sharpening before the impending tough fight. 0

"This will be a tough battle, but I am ready," Leo repeated this sentence in his mind, each repetition making him more determined and more prepared to face the challenges ahead. 0
