"Is this the center of the Ruins?" Seeing the massive, towering peak in the distance, Ren Pingsheng felt a surge of joy. When they first entered the Ancient Ruins Space, this peak had been their target. Now that it was right before him, Ren Pingsheng naturally felt delighted; it meant he had reached the center of the Ruins.
"I'm going to check out what exactly is at the center of the Ruins," he said, his figure flashing as he rushed toward the enormous mountain.
Before long, he encountered some martial artists, which made him happy but also brought a sense of alertness. He was glad to finally meet other martial artists, confirming that this truly was the center of the Ruins. However, he was taken aback to see that all these martial artists were at the King Level Boundary.
"No wonder; only those at King-Level Expert cultivation could reach here so quickly. The other Zongji Jing martial artists are probably still on their way!" Ren Pingsheng immediately understood the reason and restrained his aura, not revealing anything about himself.
"In that case, even if other King-Level Experts see me, they won't notice," he smiled lightly and followed a few distant King-Level Experts toward the massive mountain.

Just as he was speaking, a series of roars echoed through the air. A massive Demon Beast poked its head out from the towering mountain, roaring at the crowd below.
"This damned beast knows we can't do anything to it and is deliberately provoking us!" a hot-tempered King-Level Expert couldn't help but curse.
"We should strike first to wear it down. When the Emperor-Level Expert's Senior arrives, it will be easier to deal with it then," suggested another King-Level Expert. Immediately, dozens of King-Level Experts stepped forward, clearly unable to tolerate the Demon Beast's arrogance any longer.
Nearly fifty King-Level Experts launched an attack together against the enormous Demon Beast, and the entire area was thrown into chaos as the surrounding Void collapsed. Each stomp and swipe from the Demon Beast carried terrifying power, easily sending one King-Level Expert flying with every hit.
The overwhelming force caused many martial artists who were reluctant to get involved to retreat far away. The violent impacts crashed against the mountain, sending countless stones flying.
"Roar..." The Demon Beast let out a roar that shook the heavens, and with a flick of its tail, several King-Level Experts were injured and forced to retreat. Just when it seemed they could no longer hold their ground, a figure appeared in the distance and swiftly approached, moving so fast that many didn't have time to react.
"Hmph, watch me take down this beast!" This was a middle-aged man who exuded an imposing presence. Looking at the rampaging Demon Beast in the distance, he flipped his hand and struck downwards. Instantly, the entire Void trembled as his enormous palm created long cracks in the air and descended upon the Demon Beast.
"Roar..." The Demon Beast seemed to sense danger as well; its massive claws shot up to meet the giant palm in a collision that sent some slower King-Level Experts reeling back, spitting blood from the impact.
"Boom..." The enormous Demon Beast was suddenly pressed down by this strike, crashing into the mountain and leaving behind a large pit. However, it appeared uninjured as it shook its head and soared back into the air.
Then this suddenly appearing Emperor-Level Expert engaged in battle with the Demon Beast in the Void. The area was left in ruins, but thanks to this Emperor-Level Expert's intervention, these King-Level Martial Artists might just manage to hold on after all.
Because the Demon Beast was restrained, some King-Level Martial Artists couldn't resist the temptation and began approaching the massive mountain peak. In an instant, they dashed up the mountain, flying directly toward the summit.
"Roar..." The Demon Beast suddenly let out a furious roar, as if it had noticed that martial artists had ascended the mountain. It swiftly broke away from the battlefield and swung its tail. A few of the fastest King-Level Martial Artists were caught off guard; they barely managed to defend themselves before being sent flying, turning into a shower of blood in mid-air.
This sudden turn of events shocked many King-Level Martial Artists, causing them to calm down. They realized that this mountain peak might not be so easy to conquer.
"You beast, how dare you harm others while I am battling!" An Emperor-Level Expert seized the opportunity and struck down with a palm, directly sending the massive body of the Demon Beast flying and leaving several terrifying wounds on it.
"Roar..." The injury seemed to provoke the Demon Beast. It moved its body, swung its tail, and unexpectedly forced the Emperor-Level Expert back. Then it turned its head and charged at the King-Level Experts, immediately causing several more to suffer, with cries of agony echoing around; those who survived were gravely injured.
Then, astonishingly, the Demon Beast turned around and ascended the mountain, disappearing into the vastness of the peak. This action left many people stunned. Given its earlier ferocity, they had thought it was preparing for a desperate fight, but instead, it fled.
"We're leaving!" Suddenly someone shouted loudly. Most of the impatient King-Level Martial Artists quickly dashed toward the summit. This time they were so bold because an Emperor-Level Expert was leading them; even if there were dangers ahead, he could block them.
Ren Pingsheng looked at the few remaining martial artists and then at the towering mountain, hesitating in his heart. It seemed that it would be very dangerous up there. Even if others didn't realize it, he knew he was just a Half-Step Monarch and not a true King-Level Expert. Whether he could withstand any dangers was uncertain.
"No wonder that Mysterious Elder said I wouldn't gain much from this trip. It turns out this place is filled with King-Level Experts and even Emperor-Level Experts; with my cultivation level, it's indeed hard to expect any gains."

"Indeed, indeed! As long as we deal with these damned Demon Beasts, all the Treasure inside will be ours," they regarded these Demon Beasts as thorns in their sides, eager to eliminate them immediately.

"I wondered why there were no more Demon Beasts blocking our path; it turns out they all gathered here," he stopped in his tracks from a distance, showing no intention of intervening.
