I deliberately teased Gongsun Qing, pretending not to notice her feelings.
"Miss Gongsun, it's getting late. You should head back," I said intentionally.

"Master Ye, are you really going to take me back?" Gongsun Qing asked in surprise.
"Of course," I nodded.
"Thank you so much."
Gongsun Qing smiled.
She looked at me, a hint of excitement flashing in her eyes.
I knew that Gongsun Qing was happy; she had developed an interest in me.
This was the outcome I wanted to see the most. I aimed to draw all of Gongsun Qing's attention to myself.
In this way, Hu Jingtian would become a lonely figure.
It would be much easier for me to deal with him.
I took Gongsun Qing out of the tavern and then got into the carriage.
Inside the carriage, Gongsun Qing occasionally glanced at me from the corner of her eye, seemingly trying to find a topic to discuss.

I follow Gongsun Qing and escort her to the entrance of World Inn.
"Master Ye, would you like to come in for a while?" Gongsun Qing looks at me, her eyes glimmering with a hint of expectation.
"No, Miss Gongsun, it's getting late, and I should head back," I reply with a smile.
"I see."
A trace of disappointment flashes in Gongsun Qing's eyes.
"However, can I invite you to dinner tomorrow?" I changed the subject and smiled.
"Sure!" Gongsun Qing said joyfully.
"Great, I'll come pick you up tomorrow at noon," I replied with a smile.
"Okay, I'll wait for you," Gongsun Qing said with a smile.
After saying that, Gongsun Qing turned and walked into the World Inn behind her.
Watching Gongsun Qing's disappearing figure, a barely noticeable cold smile flashed across my lips.
I knew that my plan had already taken its first successful step.
Next, I just needed to lure Gongsun Qing from the World Inn to Wanbang Restaurant for it to be considered a success.
As long as Gongsun Qing stayed at Wanbang Restaurant, her every move would be under my watchful eye.
This way, I could better control her.
With that thought, I got into the carriage and disappeared into the night.
