"Small business? What small business?" Mrs. Chen pressed.
"Miss Cai, why are you asking this?" I frowned.
"I'm just curious," Mrs. Chen replied with a smile.
"Miss Cai, if you have nothing else, I'll take my leave," I said as I stood up.
"Master Ye, don't misunderstand; I mean no harm," Mrs. Chen quickly added.
"Then what do you want?" I asked.
"Master Ye, are you helping Mr. Ge with something?" Mrs. Chen inquired.
"How did you know?" I was surprised.
"I guessed," Mrs. Chen said with a smile.
"You guessed?" I questioned, puzzled.
"Yes," Mrs. Chen nodded.
"Why do you say that?" I asked.
"Because you are quite generous," Mrs. Chen stated.
"Generous?" I was slightly taken aback.
"Yes, at the auction, you spent a hundred thousand dollars on a necklace," Mrs. Chen pointed out.
"What does that have to do with being generous?" I asked.
"If you weren't helping Mr. Ge, where would you get so much money?" Mrs. Chen questioned.
"This is my own money," I said.
"Master Ye, you may not know this, but Mr. Ge is one of the biggest smugglers in Nanjiang, and his business is quite large," Mrs. Chen said.
"What does that have to do with me?" I asked.
"You are Mr. Ge's subordinate, so naturally, you are involved in smuggling with him," Mrs. Chen replied.
Hearing Mrs. Chen's words, I couldn't help but laugh.
"Master Ye, what are you laughing at?" Mrs. Chen asked, puzzled.
"Miss Cai, I think you've made a mistake," I chuckled.
"I made a mistake? What do you mean?" Mrs. Chen asked, confused.
"I'm not Mr. Ge's subordinate," I shook my head.
"You're not Mr. Ge's subordinate? Then who are you?" Mrs. Chen exclaimed in surprise.
"I am Mr. Ge's nephew," I said.
"Nephew?" Mrs. Chen's eyes widened.
"Yes," I nodded.
"Master Ye, you're lying to me," Mrs. Chen stared at me and said.
"Why would I lie to you?" I asked.
"If you are Mr. Ge's nephew, then why did you say you were his subordinate?" Mrs. Chen questioned.
"This is my private matter, and I don't want to discuss it," I said.
"Master Ye, if you don't want to talk about it, I won't force you," Mrs. Chen replied.
"Miss Cai, do you have anything else? If not, I'll take my leave," I stood up and said.
"Master Ye, are you really Mr. Ge's nephew?" Mrs. Chen looked at me and asked.
"Of course," I nodded.
"Master Ye, do you know who I am?" Mrs. Chen suddenly asked.
"Aren't you Mrs. Chen?" I replied, puzzled.
"Yes, I am Mrs. Chen. However, I have another identity," she said.
"What identity?" I asked curiously.
"I am Madam Ziweifu," Mrs. Chen stated.
"Madam Ziweifu?" I frowned.
"Yes," Mrs. Chen nodded.
"I've never heard of that," I shook my head.
"Master Ye, are you really Mr. Ge's nephew?" Mrs. Chen looked at me again and asked.
"Of course," I nodded once more.
"Master Ye, please don't lie to me," Mrs. Chen said.
"Miss Cai, what exactly do you want to say?" I frowned.
"Master Ye, I know your identity," Mrs. Chen said.
"You know my identity?" I asked in surprise.
"Yes," Mrs. Chen nodded.
"You know who I am?" I inquired.
"If I'm not mistaken, you are from the Military Affairs Office," Mrs. Chen stated.
Hearing Mrs. Chen's words, I felt a chill in my heart.
This Mrs. Chen is indeed not simple.
"Miss Cai, I don't know what you're talking about," I shook my head.
"Master Ye, you don't need to deny it. I know you are from the Military Affairs Office," Mrs. Chen said.
"Miss Cai, do you know something?" I said in a low voice.
"Master Ye, I don't know much. However, I can guess a few things," Mrs. Chen replied.
