The carriage traveled steadily along the central avenue leading to Noxus. This broad and magnificent road, which directly connected to the capital, was flanked by neatly arranged stone pillars and grand statues, showcasing the strength of Noxus and its pursuit of art. The construction of the road was undoubtedly a monumental undertaking, with each stone slab meticulously laid, reflecting the nation's remarkable organizational skills and attention to detail.
As the carriage continued along the straight path, the surrounding scenery gradually changed. In the distance, the towering Noxian Walls loomed like giants, standing impervious and proud. Torches adorned the walls, their presence commanding respect even in the daylight.
On the roadside, soldiers patrol from time to time, their steps are uniform, each one holding their head high, displaying the discipline and dignity of the Noxus army. Their armor glistens in the sunlight, emitting a cold gleam.
As the carriage approaches the city of Noxus, the surrounding Dong s become more magnificent. Tall monuments, spacious squares, and palaces adorned with intricate reliefs, each Dong seems to tell the history and glory of this country.
In this scene, Wei Dong and God Tone were still immersed in their dreams, completely unaware that the carriage was approaching the heart of Noxus. Mr. Valo quietly gazed out the window, his eyes filled with a hint of anticipation and pride, as if he was looking forward to the new chapter that The Two Brothers could create in this land.
As the carriage swayed gently, Wei Dong finally began to wake from his slumber. He felt a slight numbness in his feet from sitting for too long and instinctively stretched his legs to restore circulation. He gently pushed his glasses back into place on the bridge of his nose.
He turned to look out the window, and what met his eyes was a vast expanse of dim yellow land. The distant scenery was slowly changing, making him aware that they were gradually approaching their destination. The view outside the window was a vast plain, with occasional farmland and scattered small villages. Farmers were working in the fields, and some children were playing nearby.
As the carriage drew closer to the capital of Noxus, the architecture gradually became more magnificent and solemn. Wei Dong noticed some sculptures on the roadside, each depicting the historical heroes and great battles of Noxus, and the details of these statues left a deep impression on him.
Inside the carriage, God Tone was still sound asleep, his snoring thunderous as ever. Wei Dong smiled and didn't disturb his younger brother's slumber. Instead, he turned to Mr. Valo and asked, "Are we almost there? The land of Noxus is truly impressive."
Mr. Valo nodded and replied with a smile, "Yes, we will arrive at the capital very soon. The grandeur and majesty of Noxus will leave a deep impression on you."
Mr. Valo's gaze lingered on Wei Dong and God Tone for a moment, and he couldn't help but gently scratch his head, revealing a hint of an awkward smile. He hesitated slightly before speaking, "General Darius may have an open attitude towards many things, but your attire... if I may be blunt, is rather unconventional."
Wei Dong's outfit was indeed distinctive; he was bare-chested, wearing only a pair of colorful beach shorts and flip-flops. Such attire felt out of place in Noxus, where almost everyone else was dressed in formal or military-style clothing.
And God Tone is still immersed in deep sleep, wearing a white undershirt with a collar full of yellow stains, and only a pair of briefs on the lower body, with various unknown stains on them, making it even more unsightly.
Mr. Valo continued, "Of course, we will not force you to change your style, but in Noxus, especially in the capital, you may want to consider a more suitable dress. This is not only for the perception of the outside world, but also for your own safety and dignity."
Wei Dong listened and showed a thoughtful expression. He knew that Mr. Valo had a point in what he said, but he also felt that his style was a part of his personality and not easy to change. He nodded slightly to indicate that he had heard Mr. Valo's suggestion.
God Tone, on the other hand, was completely unaware of all this, still in his dreamland, snoring loudly, continuing his oblivious journey of sleep.
Valo could only smile wryly and shake his head at Wei Dong's behavior, inwardly sighing at the unique personalities of these two new Summoners. He then opened the car window to let in some fresh air, trying to ease the awkward and somewhat stifling atmosphere.
"Well, I won't say more then. If you need anything, the clothes are in the back," Mr. Valo gently reminded.
Wei Dong nodded, indicating that he understood. His actions seemed casual, even somewhat careless, but that was precisely his character. He then reached down to touch his armpit, sniffed his fingers, and casually remarked, "Is it okay? Doesn't smell too bad." After noticing that he didn't seem to have a strong odor, he appeared somewhat satisfied.
Mr. Valo silently watched this scene, unable to help but ponder how the Two Brothers would adapt in Noxus, a nation that values discipline and order. He was well aware of the strict norms of Noxian society, and these two were so extraordinary; this would undoubtedly present some challenges in the future.
The carriage continued to move steadily, passing through the border of Noxus and heading towards the center of the capital of Noxus. Along the way, every region they passed through displayed the wealth and power of Noxus, but Wei Dong and God Tone seemed indifferent to this, more immersed in their own world, full of curiosity and anticipation for the future.
