My belly is a bit big now, and driving has become inconvenient, so most of the time when I go out, I choose to take a taxi.

After the crowd passed, I unexpectedly saw Mina's car enter Xiao Minxing's company.

Xiao Minxing's assistant was trying hard to block them from rushing into the Office, and there were also two security guards present.

Before I could make up my mind, Xiao Minxing's older sister, Xiao Minhui, suddenly turned and spotted me.
She immediately pushed through the crowd and approached me with an imposing demeanor, but her gaze quickly shifted to my stomach, her expression dripping with disdain: "You two really are a perfect match. What a well-rehearsed act! One says she's divorced, yet ends up pregnant; the other claims to have nothing to do with Dad but manages to take over his company."
I was completely taken aback by her words and stood there speechless.
However, the people surrounding us seemed to understand the situation better than I did. They quickly turned around from the Entrance of Xiao Minxing's Office and surrounded me.
Xiao Minxing's Sister-in-law, Li Ru, had almost the same expression as Xiao Minhui, wearing a sarcastic smile as she said, "This woman has always been full of malice. When she entered our Xiao Family, she had ill intentions. She claims to have divorced Xiao Minxing, but just look at her now! Not only did she extort so much money from our family, but she also shamelessly dares to come back looking for him."
I didn't know when it started that this Sister-in-law of the Xiao Family began defending Xiao Minxing, but her words made me the target of everyone's scorn in an instant. All eyes were on me with a murderous intent.
They pushed me into a corner, making it hard to escape or even catch a glimpse of Xiao Minxing.
Xiao Minhui and Li Ru took turns digging up the past about how I tricked Xiao Minxing into marriage. Although they didn't know the truth behind it all, they added their own embellishments.
For instance, they claimed that I had slipped drugs into Xiao Minxing's drink so that I could successfully sleep with him at the hotel and then ended up pregnant with someone else's child, pinning it all on Xiao Minxing.
They vehemently accused me while simultaneously dragging Xiao Minxing down with them.
Finally, they stared at my stomach and said, "This illegitimate child’s parent is unknown; otherwise, Xiao Minxing wouldn’t have divorced her while she was pregnant. She must have already hooked up with someone else and is just here to swindle money from our family to run off with her little boy toy."
I had never thought highly of the Xiao Family Sisters, but I had never doubted their upbringing either. After all, growing up in a big family would influence their temperament due to education and environment. In fact, they had previously acted graciously in front of me. However, once they started hurling insults today, I instantly understood.
A person's character isn't necessarily tied to these factors; it's all about what lies within. Their hearts were filled with such wickedness; otherwise, they wouldn't have bullied Xiao Minxing since childhood. Throughout their growth process, they hadn't become better; instead, they had grown worse.
The initial feeling of helplessness gradually faded away. I coldly regarded Xiao Minhui as she continued fabricating stories, too lazy to even defend myself.
The Elevator doors opened again, and several uniformed officers glanced over before quickly walking toward us.
Their sudden appearance stunned everyone present. The leader, with a cold glint in his eyes, asked, "What’s going on? Why are you causing a scene at someone else's company?"
At that moment, Xiao Minxing's Second Sister, Xiao Minying, stepped forward. She was known for her cunning within the Xiao Family and always spoke and acted with purpose. So even now, facing the police, she did not panic like Xiao Minhui.
Calmly, she said, "Officer, we are in our own company, and we are not causing trouble. We are just discussing some internal matters among family members."
"Is that so? I don’t care what you’re discussing. You say this company is yours; please show me the relevant documents."
At this, a glimmer of light flashed in Xiao Minying's eyes. She glanced at Xiao Minxing's Office and said, "The documents are in the Office; I will go get them for you."
However, the police officer wouldn’t let her approach. He stopped everyone and said, "Don’t move," then signaled for someone who had followed him to enter Xiao Minxing's Office.
Soon, that person came out holding the company's relevant documents. The leading officer quickly flipped through them and asked, "Who is Xiao Minxing?"
No one present stepped forward; they exchanged glances.
The officer looked around and bluntly said, "The responsible person listed on the documents is Xiao Minxing. Since none of you are him, leave quickly; otherwise, you'll have to explain things at the police station."
Xiao Minhui could no longer hold back and quickly retreated toward the Elevator upon hearing this.
Meanwhile, Xiao Minying shot me a sharp look, turned around, and grabbed my arm saying, "If you can't see him, then come with us. It won't be that easy to swallow our father's money alone."
