I was burning with anger inside, and the two elderly people from Mina's Family couldn't persuade them at all. Mother Mi was so anxious that tears were about to fall, while Dad Mi was pushed aside by Miyong and took a long time to get back up.
I shouted at them, "Stop it right now!"
They did stop, but both of them glared at me with anger, and Miyong's eyes were wide open, as if he was ready to come over and hit me at any moment.
Sister Liu took Xiao Zhe upstairs, and Sister Wang came out of the kitchen, trying to calm them down, but it was useless.

To be honest, I had seen many unreasonable people in my life, but I had never encountered anyone like this. I couldn't believe this was Mina's Brother because Mina had left such a good impression on me; even her parents seemed nice. But what on earth were this brother and sister-in-law?
My shout didn’t bring any calm; instead, it turned the couple's anger towards me as if my family's wealth was robbing them of something, their faces filled with rage.
Sister Wang anxiously whispered to me, "Anan, should we call Xiao Zong and have him come back to handle this?"
Before I could respond, Miyong grinned and said, "Xiao Zong? Go ahead and call him. What can he do? Is he going to come and arrest me?"
I was truly infuriated by him. If it were someone else, I would want to call someone over to beat him up. But looking at Mina's Parents and thinking about Mina made me abandon that thought. I told Sister Wang, "My mobile phone is in my bag; you go call Su Qian."
As soon as Miyong heard that I was really going to make a call, he almost jumped over to hit me. He rushed right in front of me, but fortunately, Mother Mi held him tightly.
I coldly watched the farce unfolding in my home, not knowing what to say anymore.
It was hard to understand how they were fine when they were in the car, but now that they arrived at my house, it turned into this.
When Su Qian arrived, I was sitting in the yard with Sister Wang, while Miyong and his wife were still arguing inside, and Mother Mi and Dad Mi were trying to mediate.

I didn't know how he would handle it and didn't want to look. Anyway, half an hour later, he brought everyone out.
Miyong looked dissatisfied, while Mina's Family appeared regretful.
Su Qian came over and said to me, "Leave them to me. I'm going out to find a hotel; we’ll leave together tomorrow."
I was too exhausted to argue with him anymore. Dad Mi and Mother Mi came over to apologize, and I shook my head, saying, "I'm sorry, I originally wanted you to stay at home for a night, but I didn't expect it to turn out like this."
They said, "It's our fault for causing you trouble."
I asked Sister Wang to go out and see them off while I couldn't even muster the energy to move.
When Xiao Minxing returned in the evening, he took one look at me and asked, "Have you arranged everything for Mina's family?"

His voice was not loud, but it was heavy and cold, a low growl, each word piercing me like a knife.

I could never reason with him, especially now that he was furious. I couldn't say much more and turned to head upstairs.
Xiao Minxing did not follow me.
I lay on the bed and fell asleep, only to feel the bed shift slightly.

Today was truly an accident. I believed Xiao Minxing would have handled it well if he had returned, but I didn't want him to be too distracted. I hoped he could finish up quickly so we could go see Mina together.
