The noise behind grew louder and more people gathered.
I quickly got on the car and asked Luo Ming to drive away.
"Phew, finally some peace and quiet."
I took a deep breath.
He joked, "You're not afraid of so many people at the book signing, why are you afraid of so few people at school?"
"It's different!"
Saying that, I approached the Gardenia in my hand and took a gentle sniff.
"It smells so good."
"As long as you like it."
"Of course I like you more."
I began to counterattack.
Suddenly, the car's speed slowed down and gradually came to a stop by the side of the road.
Luo Ming turned his head, raised his eyebrows slightly, and gently kissed me. "I like it too." Under the wind-blown strands of hair, my face turned red.
I will be moved and blush countless times with him.
In the evening, the clouds and sunset glow are intertwined.
After dinner, he and I are ready to go out for a walk and exercise.
Both he and I are wearing white T-shirts and black shorts, except mine are a bit shorter. Should I say it? When Luo Ming takes off his suit, he looks similar to an ordinary male high school or college student. But he exudes a more composed demeanor than them.
I held his hand and we walked out together, shaking hands all the way. Most of the people we met on the road were elderly with white hair. I really want to be like them, walking with Luo Ming all the way.
Suddenly a sentence I had read flashed through my mind, and I spoke it out loud without thinking: "Husband and wife are one, together they face the unknown." Luo Ming heard it, paused, and looked down at me.
"United with you, let's embark on an adventure together."
The two looked at each other and smiled.
The evening breeze seemed to be pulling us, not letting us go back.
I suddenly had an idea. Since it's not time to get off work, why not take Luo Ming to school for a walk?
"Let's go, I'll take you to school for a walk."
He responded, "Okay."
Two people swaggered through the school gates.
He took a stroll around the school with him upside down.
"I've walked the paths you've walked and seen the sights you've seen at school."
I smiled happily when I heard this sentence. I happened to pass by the basketball court. Although I was still holding his hand, my eyes accidentally glanced at the guy playing basketball.
He squeezed my hand hard.
I blurted out, "Hey... why are you pinching me?"
Actually, I felt a little nervous inside.
"Do you really like watching basketball so much?"
I smiled awkwardly and said, "Hehe, not really..."
"I guess you didn't watch these when you weren't with me."
I quickly denied, "Absolutely not! I am a virtuous woman. It's just that my eyes are not behaving today." I couldn't believe what I was saying. He pulled me and we walked towards the basketball court.
"Let's go, I'll join in too."
Men really have a strange sense of competitiveness.
Luo Ming went to borrow a basketball and walked towards me holding it.
"Come, I'll teach you how to play."
You know the basketball court is always full of people. I have no skills or basketball techniques. If I go up to play, won't I just be making a fool of myself?
"Oh, I don't know how to play. I'll just watch you play."
"Where's the personal trainer? Don't be afraid," he said, pulling me towards the basketball hoop. I stood in front of him, holding the basketball, while he held my hand.
"Wait for a moment... when you throw the ball..."
The evening breeze isn't strong, but I seem to be unable to hear his voice clearly.
I can only hear his breath, as well as our heartbeats.
"Do you understand?"
Huh? Understand what...
I stammered, showing an embarrassed look.
He saw me like this, and didn't "make things difficult" for me again. He just gently patted my head, let me sit aside, and watch him play basketball. The youthful spirit in him was fully displayed on the court. I really like him.
