In the police station's Interrogation Room, Lin Feng and He Ting were engaged in a routine questioning session. Lin Feng could only express his helplessness, continuing to respond in this manner. Despite being a hero who had beaten up thugs, he found himself treated like a criminal, and it was no exaggeration to say that he felt frustrated. 0

"Alright, we have your information. Now, let me ask you again: did you injure those twenty or so people?" He Ting seemed skeptical of Lin Feng's thin arms and legs as she asked once more. 0

"Yes, it was all me. Didn't you treat me like a serious threat from the start? Honestly, I had already surrendered at that point and wasn't armed. How could you be so heartless?" Lin Feng had answered He Ting's disbelief several times already. Despite her confident demeanor, he couldn't understand why she was being so persistent about this issue. 0

Lin Feng repeatedly expressed his dissatisfaction with He Ting's initial action of knocking him out with a chop. He wanted to file a complaint; after all, how could someone knock him out when he wasn't even armed? 0

He Ting felt a bit conflicted about her actions of knocking Lin Feng out due to her military habits. It wasn't exactly guilt, but she sensed that the chop might not have been entirely appropriate. 0

However, just because she thought it might not have been appropriate didn't mean she would soften her stance towards Lin Feng or apologize. 0

"Ahem... If you truly acted in self-defense, I would personally escort you out of the station and apologize to you. Is that alright? Now, stop being so petty and explain where your skills come from," He Ting pressed on with her curiosity. 0

From her perspective, it was impressive for Lin Feng to take down over twenty people single-handedly. While he couldn't compare to those trained like her, he was still quite formidable in society. Yet, when she pulled up Lin Feng's file earlier, she found that he had no criminal record and had never received any training—he seemed like an honest college student. 0

According to the records, Lin Feng was indeed a diligent student who had received multiple scholarships throughout high school and college. In fact, this was his first time in a place like the police station, which dealt with punishing wrongdoing. 0

If Lin Feng knew what she was thinking at that moment, he would surely feel vindicated because it truly was his first time in a police station. 0

"I learned from an old man in my village since I was young—it's true!" Lin Feng repeated the story he had told Meng Li to convince He Ting. There was no way he could tell different stories to different people; if someone who had heard this story ran into him one day, it would expose him. Although the likelihood of that happening was low, it was better to be prepared for the worst-case scenario. 0

"Ha ha... why don't you say you fell into a cave and found a martial arts manual to practice on your own? That would be much simpler!" He Ting clearly was not as easily fooled as Meng Li, disdainfully remarked. It seemed like she was mocking Lin Feng for lying without even coming up with a convincing story. 0

"In any case, I'm telling the truth. You say I'm lying, so show me the evidence!" Lin Feng was getting a bit annoyed by He Ting's persistent questioning. How could she keep asking the same question in so many different ways? It was as if she was trying to find a roundabout way to corner him. 0

"You..." He Ting was also quite irritated with Lin Feng. This guy was impossible to deal with; he could throw out a couple of cheeky remarks while they were talking. If they weren't at the police station, He Ting would have already dragged him to a secluded place for some physical education. 0

If Lin Feng knew what He Ting was thinking at that moment, he would definitely raise both hands in agreement with her suggestion. Of course, he would later make sure to ask He Ting who would be fixing whom. 0

Not to mention that Lin Feng and He Ting were arguing fiercely for their own purposes, Su Xue and Ouyang Qian had just arrived at the police station. 0

As soon as they got out of the car, Su Xue and Ouyang Qian were stopped by the front desk officer at the police station. Everyone knew why; the police station was not like other places that anyone could enter casually. 0

Just when the two were about to explain their intentions to the officer who had stopped them, sharp-eyed Su Xue noticed a middle-aged man accompanying another middle-aged police officer in uniform walking towards them. 0

The middle-aged man was dressed in a well-fitted suit. Even though it was night, his appearance was meticulously groomed, indicating that he was quite particular about his image. 0

This middle-aged man was Su Xue's father, Hong Sheng, who served as the Secretary to the Mayor of City B, a mid-level city. Su Xue referred to him as Uncle Hong. 0

"Uncle Hong!" At that moment, Su Xue waved her hands and shouted as if she had seen a lifeline, completely abandoning her usual proud demeanor. 0

"This..." The police officer accompanying Hong Sheng looked towards Su Xue and asked Hong Sheng for clarification. 0

"Oh, she's the Mayor's daughter. Why is this girl here at the police station so late? Let's go check it out!" Hong Sheng said as he walked towards Su Xue and Ouyang Qian. 0

"Oh, let's go take a look!" Upon hearing Hong Sheng's words, the middle-aged police officer quickly understood and hurried to follow. 0

"Xiaoxue, what are you doing here? It's so late! Who is this?" Hong Sheng asked, clearly not recognizing Ouyang Qian. 0

"This is my teacher, Ouyang Qian. I'm accompanying her to see one of her students, who I heard has been detained by the police," Su Xue introduced directly. Here, she was much more cautious and objective in her speech. Although she didn't believe Lin Feng would engage in a brawl, she wouldn't make any subjective statements until she saw him. It was evident that this girl was not simple-minded. 0

"Oh, Zhu Bureau, what's going on?" Hong Sheng nodded at Ouyang Qian as a greeting and then turned to the middle-aged police officer beside him, realizing that he was the head of the Public Security Bureau. 0

"Xiao Li, what's the situation?" Zhu Bureau clearly did not understand what was happening and asked the young officer who had stopped Su Xue and the others. 0

"Oh, I'm not very clear either. I heard that Captain He just brought back a group of people involved in a brawl, and it seems one of them is a student," Xiao Li quickly responded to the inquiry from his superior. Unfortunately, this case was not under his jurisdiction, so he only had limited information. 0

"Uncle Hong, can we go in and take a look?" Su Xue handled the situation much better than Ouyang Qian could have, which is why Ouyang Qian remained silent and left it to Su Xue. She was glad she had brought Su Xue along. 0

Finally, after Su Xue's pleading, Uncle Hong and Zhu Bureau allowed them to see Lin Feng. Naturally, since it concerned Su Xue, Uncle Hong had to accompany them as well, and Zhu Bureau followed them back to the police station. 0

"Lin Feng, what happened?" As soon as Su Xue and Ouyang Qian saw Lin Feng arguing with He Ting, they quickly asked him. Their tone was identical, causing Lin Feng to forget his argument with He Ting and become dumbfounded! 0

How did these two beauties end up here? Lin Feng was quite surprised; news traveled too fast! 0

P.S.: Two chapters for today! I'm very tired but very happy! 0
