In the pictures, she wore a doctoral gown and cap, with a radiant smile on her face. She had truly accomplished it.
“How is it?” Li Jing asked me, looking at me expectantly.
“Very beautiful,” I smiled and replied.
“I meant my results.”
Li Jing said.
I came to my senses and replied, "That's great, congratulations!"
"Thank you."
"What's wrong?"
Noticing that I seemed distracted, Li Jing asked.
"Nothing."
I shook my head and said, "I just feel like you've changed a lot."
"Really?"
Li Jing smiled and said, "People always change."
"Yeah."
I responded, feeling a bit emotional.
Time is truly frightening; it can change a person and also heal them.
The current Li Jing is completely different from who she was two years ago.
Now, she is more confident and strong.
I think this is the real her.
"What about you?"
Li Jing looked at me and asked, "What are you planning to do?"
"Me?"
I paused for a moment and said, "I'm just here, what else can I do?"
"You could find a girlfriend," Li Jing suggested. "You should settle down."
