At the moment of crisis, a white figure burst out from the right side of Liu Guanfeng, knocking aside the black-clad assassin. Ever since Liu Guanfeng was ambushed, XP had not left his side to prevent another assassination attempt. 0

XP steadied himself and turned to face the black-clad assassin, while at the same time, the assassin's little cat was being besieged by four Mounts. The little cat dodged left and right, barely avoiding the attacks and unable to counterattack. 0

Seeing XP come over, Liu Guanfeng calmly took a step back. Although he was confident he could defeat the black-clad assassin in front of him, he knew that getting injured was still a possibility; an Intermediate Knight could indeed break through his tough defenses. 0

At that moment, XP made his move. A fireball erupted from his mouth, and the black-clad assassin tilted his head to the right to dodge it, but half of his hair bun was singed. 0

In pain, the black-clad assassin retreated, but XP pressed the advantage. With a flash of golden light, he activated Metalization on himself and charged at the assassin. The assassin only saw a flash of gold before being struck in the chest. He staggered back several steps, clutching his chest as it churned painfully. Following the principle of taking advantage of an opponent's weakness, XP spun around and delivered a tail swipe, hitting the assassin's chest once more with his golden tail. 0

At this point, the black-clad assassin coughed up blood that he had previously suppressed, causing his body to slump down. Liu Guanfeng approached with his sword lightly resting against the assassin's neck. The assassin looked at Liu Guanfeng with resentment. However, Liu Guanfeng smiled and said, "Kid, do you have anything else to say? Your ability is still lacking if you want my life." 0

Meanwhile, the little cat of the black-clad assassin had been beaten badly by the four Mounts. But when it saw Liu Guanfeng resting his sword on its owner's neck, it seemed to muster its last bit of strength and dashed towards Liu Guanfeng's sword hand. If this little cat collided with him, even though Liu Guanfeng had consumed Iron Skin Soup ten times, being hit by the cat would still be painful. 0

The fastest reaction came from XP standing beside Liu Guanfeng against a Fourth Rank little cat. XP remained relaxed; in an instant, his tail petrified and transformed into cricket bats as he swung at the little cat's head. There was a loud "thud" as XP hit a home run with the little cat, sending it crashing into the room of Copper Bull. 0

Then came a horrific cat scream followed by sounds of items shattering inside the room. When all sounds ceased, there was no sign of the little cat. Seeing that there was no movement inside, Liu Guanfeng felt uneasy and sent a message for XP to check. 0

XP walked leisurely into Copper Bull's room and soon heard sounds of broken vases and furniture being moved around. After a short while, he emerged from the room with a bloodied little cat in his mouth that was barely alive. 0

Seeing his Mount in such a state drove the black-clad assassin mad; disregarding Liu Guanfeng's sword still resting on his neck, he suddenly stood up with a "whoosh." Liu Guanfeng's sword immediately slipped from the assassin’s neck but left a deep gash that quickly began to bleed. 0

With the black-clad assassin free from control, Liu Guanfeng stepped forward and punched him in the abdomen, causing him to crouch down on the ground. Following this, Liu Guanfeng struck down on the back of the crouching assassin's neck with a palm strike that knocked him unconscious. 0

Just as the black-clad assassin fell to the ground, many servants and Guardians entered from outside Liu Guanfeng’s courtyard. Suddenly, Liu Guanfeng’s courtyard was brightly lit. Liu Yong'an was among them; he entered first and stood at the front, frowning upon seeing the black-clad assassin lying on the ground. 0

“Feng'er, are you alright?” 0

“Father, I am fine.” 0

Liu Yong'an pointed at the black-clad man lying on the ground. “Is this the Thief who sneaked in just now?” 0

“Indeed, but I have already subdued him; he is unconscious now.” 0

“Good. Someone, take this Thief to my study. I want to interrogate him thoroughly and find out who has the audacity to cause trouble in Liu Manor.” 0

Two guards carried the black-clad man away, binding his small cat securely before placing it in a designated cage. 0

Liu Yong'an returned to Liu Guanfeng's side and carefully checked Liu Guanfeng's body. After confirming that there were no issues, he turned and left Liu Guanfeng's courtyard. 0

Liu Guanfeng then called for the servants to tidy up Copper Bull's room and sent the four attendants back to sleep. However, after what had just happened, none of them felt sleepy, so Liu Guanfeng led the four attendants to Liu Yong'an's study. 0

Standing at the door, Liu Guanfeng heard Liu Yong'an questioning the black-clad man. “Tell me, who sent you?” 0

There was no response from inside, followed by sounds of punches and kicks. “What? You still won’t speak?” 0

Then the voice of the black-clad man came again. “General, I’ve already told you, I’m just a thief trying to steal something from the general’s residence to get by. No one instructed me; how can I tell you who sent me? Why don’t you give me a hint?” 0

As soon as the black-clad man finished speaking, Liu Yong'an's furious roar echoed from within. “You little brat, your mouth is really tough. Do you think I won’t dare to kill you?” Liu Guanfeng heard the sound of a sword being drawn inside. He thought: This is bad; if Liu Yong'an really kills this person, then the lead will be lost. 0

Thus, Liu Guanfeng decisively pushed open the door and walked in, grabbing hold of the furious Liu Yong'an. “Father, please don’t! If you kill him now, his master will never be found.” 0

Liu Yong'an looked at his son in front of him and set down the sword in his hand. "But he hasn't revealed anything so far. What should we do?" 0

Seeing Liu Yong'an put down the sword, Liu Guanfeng felt relieved and relaxed his hands. He said to Liu Yong'an, "Father, getting him to talk will be easy. Just leave it to me." 0

Liu Yong'an nodded. "Alright, I'll leave it to you for now. If you still can't get anything out of him, then I'll just kill him." 0

"I understand," Liu Guanfeng replied. After that, he brought the man in black to his small courtyard, accompanied by four Guardians. The four Guardians tied the man in black securely to a long bench as per Liu Guanfeng's instructions. Once they confirmed that he was tightly bound, Liu Guanfeng ordered one of the Guardians to fetch some of the softest feathers from the chickens they kept at home. Soon, the Guardian returned with the feathers. 0

Liu Guanfeng instructed the Guardians, "Take off his shoes and socks." 0

The Guardians complied and removed all of the man in black's footwear. Then Liu Guanfeng used a feather to tickle the soles of the man's feet. The man jolted but managed to hold back any reaction. 0

Seeing an opportunity, Liu Guanfeng thought that as long as there was something to tickle, it would be easy to proceed. He then instructed the Guardians to continue with this method of tormenting him. The Guardians exchanged glances, unsure of what Third Young Master was trying to achieve; could mere tickling really make the man in black confess? But since it was Third Young Master giving orders, they complied. 0

Thus, the four burly men relentlessly tickled the man in black. At first, he gritted his teeth and endured it, but eventually, he could no longer hold on. By the end, blood had dripped from the corners of his mouth as he fainted. 0

The Guardians were startled; they hadn't expected that tickling could knock out such a strong man. Liu Guanfeng coldly observed and said, "Go get a bucket of cold water." 0

Nearby, Copper Bull quickly brought over a bucket of clear water and asked Liu Guanfeng, "Master, what should we do?" 0

"What should we do? Splash it on him," Liu Guanfeng pointed at the man in black with his mouth. 0

With a splash, the cold water hit the man in black, causing him to shiver and wake up again. As he regained consciousness, he thought to himself: How can this little brat have such devious tricks? I can barely hold on. 0

Seeing that the man in black had woken up, Liu Guanfeng asked, "So, can you talk now?" 0

The man in black gritted his teeth and said, "Kid, if you have the guts, go ahead and kill me. Don't think you can get any information from my grandfather." 0

Liu Guanfeng nodded, "You're a man of your word; I hope you remember what you said." 0

You all keep working hard; I'm going back to sleep. After giving a few instructions to Bao Rui, I turned and returned to my room. 0

Immediately, the yard was filled with the man's agonizing screams and curses. Liu Guanfeng thought to himself: Kid, be grateful; it's already fortunate that I haven't used the tiger bench or chili water on you. If you don't confess by tomorrow, I'll make sure you wish for a more comfortable death. 0

Back in his room, Liu Guanfeng activated the Five Elements Spirit Gathering Array and began his self-cultivation. 0

As a ray of morning light entered the room, Liu Guanfeng opened his eyes, turned off the Five Elements Spirit Gathering Array, and stepped out of the room. The man in black was in a pitiful state. Copper Bull was holding the man's upper eyelids open while Bao Rui blew incense into his eyes. The four Guardians continued their tormenting work. 0

At this point, the man in black had no strength left to curse; he couldn't even comprehend how he had endured the entire night of torture. 0

Liu Guanfeng approached him with a smile, "How was your sleep last night? I wonder if you still have anything to say? I can assure you that if you don't speak up, I will make your life worse than death. I mean it." 0

The man in black struggled to glance at Liu Guanfeng and managed to squeeze out a weak voice from his throat, "I’ll talk. Just stop torturing me; I’ll say anything." 0

Liu Guanfeng addressed the four Guardians in front of him, "Take him to my father. If he still doesn’t talk by then, I guarantee he will find that death is actually a luxury." After saying this, Liu Guanfeng shot a glance at the man on the stool. The look made the man shiver. Even the four Guardians beside him trembled. 0

The man in black had made up his mind: no matter what, he had to confess. This was truly unbearable torture; if he didn’t confess, he firmly believed that Liu Guanfeng would make his suffering even worse. 0
