As soon as she heard it, Yui's eyes lit up. She grabbed the waiter and shook him excitedly, making him think he had made a mistake. She exclaimed, "You're so clever, I can't believe I didn't think of that! I'm off now."
Before the waiter could respond, Yui transformed into a puff of white smoke and darted into the water.
The waiter scratched his head in confusion. He was frustrated; he hadn't finished speaking yet. Although the palace's water flowed in one direction, if she swam around randomly, there was no guarantee she wouldn't go off course. After all, it wasn't just the Sixth Prince's palace that had ponds.
Yui felt completely at ease when she transformed back into her original form. She swam freely in the water, closing her eyes to enjoy the moment. Back in the day, she had evolved from a raindrop. When she was still a raindrop, she absorbed the light of the sun and moon on a leaf every day for nearly ten thousand years.
