Yui couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed. She had come to the human world without learning anything, yet she could tell lies without batting an eye and was quick to react.
"Oh?" The Crown Prince raised an eyebrow, suddenly smiling, his voice softening. "I thought you were someone dangerous."
The Crown Prince extended his finger and beckoned Yui closer, his lips parting lightly. "Do you know what I wanted to do at that time?"
Yui swallowed hard and forced herself to move closer. "What... what do you want to do?"
A slight smile appeared in the Crown Prince's eyes as his long fingers brushed against her face, slowly moving down to her fair neck. However, the words he spoke sent chills down her spine.
"If I hadn't discovered it early, I might have broken your neck."
Yui shrank back, wrapping her hands around her neck, fearfully looking at the Crown Prince.
The Crown Prince's expression changed, the smile at the corners of his lips growing colder. He stood up and took a step closer to Yui—
Yui backed away step by step, her fear intensifying. Could it be... had the Crown Prince already discovered that she was a spy?
She watched as the Crown Prince's hand slowly rose higher.
First explain, then speak.
Yui, disregarding everything, shouted loudly at the Crown Prince, "Crown Prince, my feelings for you are as clear as the sun and moon; I am utterly loyal! I just went out for a quick break. I swear to serve you faithfully, please spare me!"
The words that the waiter had been whispering in her ear all this time came in handy now; it was truly wonderful.
The Crown Prince paused his hand above her head for a moment, and the corners of his mouth began to twitch.
Yui opened her eyes and saw the Crown Prince gently removing a leaf from her head...
Yui felt her mind was in disarray; what was she even thinking?
The Crown Prince took two steps back and couldn't help but laugh. Although his voice was pleasant, Yui found it extremely grating. She felt so foolish; the Crown Prince wasn't going to kill her, yet she blurted out everything.
She wanted to die!!!!
"If you hadn't said anything, I wouldn't have known how loyal you are to me. Very good."
The Crown Prince gave Yui a meaningful sidelong glance before turning and walking into the Inner Chamber.
Yui was at a loss for words, pounding her chest with her hands in frustration.
