Yui cried with tears and a runny nose, "It's my fault for not considering your feelings. The one who should say sorry is me."

A pair of gentle eyes that seemed to glisten with water were fixed on a perfectly handsome face. Fine strands of hair covered his smooth forehead and fell onto his thick and long eyelashes. The corners of his eyes slightly lifted, giving him an enchanting look. The pure pupils and alluring shape of his eyes blended together in a remarkably beautiful charm.
Who is this???
Yui involuntarily spoke, "Who are you?"
In her memory, she had only seen such a stunning face when she was very young.
"Is it... a deity?" A faint smile appeared on her lips, and her eyes slowly closed.
It felt as if she had fallen into a world filled only with happiness, living carefreely, with nothing but joy—nothing else—

"Deity?" The prince looked at Yui, who was asleep in his arms, his icy gaze nearly piercing through the deity.
The deity was merely an illusion, his voice softly emanating to indicate his presence.
"Dark Lord, I didn't expect that after all these years, you would appear once more."
In that moment, all the memories flooded back into the prince's mind; he never imagined that Yui was the one for whom he had taken his own life years ago.
To preserve Yui's soul, he sacrificed half of his own spiritual power to keep her soul safe in the water.
