Originally, Chuyang felt a bit pleased with himself for buying a "magical item" online for fifty dollars. But now... he wanted to curse the owner of that Taobao store and their entire lineage. She only took it out to wear at night while sleeping because it made her feel as if the Admiral was right beside her.
However, Lexington quickly realized that a broken ring was broken; there was no chance of restoring it. Why should she continue to blame the Admiral? Besides, the ring was a gift from the Admiral, and he had the right to handle it. Most importantly, the Admiral was back, sitting right across from her—what could be more important than that?
Moreover, if the ring was gone, it was gone. She could always have the Admiral give her another one. Therefore, Lexington didn't care much about this matter and certainly wasn't angry.
"Then I'll buy you another one," Chuyang suggested, tightly holding Lexington's delicate hand. With a wife like this, what more could a husband ask for?
"Mm." Lexington nodded lightly, her face filled with a sweet smile.
"Brother Chuyang, if you go buy a ring, can you also get one for Firefly?" Firefly looked eagerly at Chuyang. Sister Filin had said that if the Admiral didn't give her a ring, she couldn't let him hold her. But she really liked Brother Chuyang's embrace, so she wanted a ring too.

"Old clothes?" Chuyang was taken aback and suddenly realized. "Firefly, who told you that outfit was old?"
You see, during his gaming days, his luck had been extraordinary; thus, Chuyang wasn't a heavy spender. The few times he did recharge were mostly to open repair docks for Fleet Girls and expand storage for them. He hadn't opened construction or research docks and certainly hadn't bought any outfits. However, Firefly's Winter Combat Uniform was one of the few skins he specifically spent money on. So there was no such thing as old clothes; after all, it was virtual data—merchants wouldn't write a script just for him saying "old Winter Combat Uniform"! Chuyang really couldn't understand why Firefly assumed that outfit was old.
"Spear said."
"Spear?" Chuyang remembered there was such a Fleet Girl, but he really didn't know which one it was. Although he recalled many Fleet Girls from his previous life playing the game, the images in his mind did not label each Fleet Girl with a name, so he still couldn't name most of them, or the person didn't match the name.
