Xu Qingyuan just arrived at the entrance of the laboratory. As soon as he opened the door, he saw a bloody scene on the ground and couldn't help but be shocked by the gruesome deaths of these people.
However, before Xu Qingyuan could get closer to carefully observe the bodies, he discovered that these corpses were wearing the uniforms of the research institute's security department. It seems that they were the humans attacked by the mermaid that Lin Moyu mentioned on the phone.

Under the water tank, Janice heard Lin Moyu's words and immediately recognized that the person in front of her was Xu Qingyuan.
He immediately picked up the record sheet in his hand, opened to the latest page, and held it up in front of Xu Qingyuan, asking, "Could you please explain this matter first, Mr. Xu?"
"There are five bodies of your research institute's security personnel on the ground. Each of them shows signs of having been attacked by a mermaid, and among these bodies, three arms and two legs are missing, along with all of their internal organs."
These words are not far from Xu Qingyuan, and of course he saw the words written above and heard the words of this officer.

"Then why are there only five people? Shouldn't there be seven?"

The mermaid curiously observed the actions of the two in front of her, slowly moving closer, her hair drifting aside to reveal a face that could be considered a masterpiece of art.
"He's really beautiful," Doppler said dreamily.
Janice seemed to not have heard Doppler's words and just kept gazing affectionately at the mermaid in front of her.
