As my Soul Energy was almost restored, a voice announced, "Break time is over, the third round begins." 0

Before I could stabilize myself, I felt my body lose control again, plummeting downward. Was this in mid-air? The background was a light blue with floating clouds. If I could barely struggle in the last round, this time there seemed to be no room for resistance at all. It wasn't over yet; a ten-meter-tall beast resembling an eagle appeared. I could only awkwardly dodge, and in my unstable state, the Bone Flute couldn't hit anything, just wasting Soul Energy. The beast seemed impatient and exhaled a breath of flame. Seeing that I couldn't evade it, I shouted urgently, "Defense, Golden Garment," but it was too late. Suddenly, the sleeve of my right arm was burned away, and the muscle of my entire right arm turned blood red. The soul body had no blood, but the flames were scorching hot; it felt like my right arm was about to melt. 0

"Little Pink!" In desperation, I could only summon Little Pink. 0

Once Little Pink appeared, it immediately launched a level-zero attack. However, the beast had an iron-like protective layer around its body, and Little Pink's attack had no effect whatsoever. The beast became enraged and spewed flames towards Little Pink. It was difficult for Little Pink to dodge as well and ultimately got hit. As an Insect-type Beast, flames were its Water's Nemesis; sure enough, Little Pink began to plummet surrounded by flames. I even heard a crackling sound. 0

"No!" I concentrated my Soul Energy in my lower body to accelerate my descent; I needed to catch Little Pink. From this height, even if the beast didn't die, it would be severely injured. 0

Just as I was about to reach Little Pink, something strange happened. The flames turned a deeper red and vanished in an instant. A five-meter butterfly appeared in mid-air, entirely pink, but upon closer inspection, fiery red patterns adorned its wings. 0

"Master, didn't I tell you I'm strong? Hehe." Was that Little Pink? It had transformed from a cocoon into a butterfly. It was clear that Little Pink was also excited. 0

"Watch this: Golden Threads Entwined." Little Pink spat out a string of Gold Thread that wrapped around the beast. No matter how much it struggled, its massive body couldn't break free from the Gold Thread. 0

"Master, get on." Little Pink supported me as I descended; finally feeling secure, I sat on Little Pink's back comfortably. 0

I saw flames continuously erupting from the gaps in the Gold Thread; it wasn't melting away immediately—only a few strands were severed by the fire. 0

"Master, now's the time! Launch your attack!" 0

"Wings of Wind" resonated once more as a fierce wind swept the large mass towards Sky's Edge until it disappeared. Finally, Little Pink and I landed safely. 0

"Little Pink, have you reached level one?" Looking at the pink droplet Life Stone on her forehead, my voice trembled; for her age, this was incredibly fast. 0

"Yes, Master! Thanks to you; that power within you is immense. I feel significant changes in my body. My First Level attack has mutated because of it. Since I'm already a mutated being, my skills have changed too; as long as they aren't three levels higher than you, they can't break free from my First Level Golden Threads Entwined. Ordinary flames and water are also ineffective against it." Just after saying that, Little Pink transformed back into her caterpillar form. 0

"What happened?" Hadn't she already become a butterfly? 0

"Not yet; this is forced evolution. My power isn't sufficient yet. Once I reach level three, I'll truly become an adult form. If it weren't for what happened earlier, you would have failed long ago. Now I need to recover properly; I'll probably sleep for a while. When I wake up, everything will be fine." After saying this, Little Pink vanished. 0

"Thank you, Little Pink," I whispered softly. 0

"Third stage completed. Congratulations on passing the first level of the test successfully. You earned 10 points for the first stage, 10 points for the second stage, 10 points for the third stage, and an additional 10 points for completing it in one go. Your current score is 40 points." 0

Before I could react, I arrived at an entrance. As I stepped out, a refined-looking Male Ghost approached me. 0

"Congratulations on completing the test, Miss Xi Dream. Please follow me." After saying this, he walked towards a door. Upon reaching the door, he paused and respectfully said, "Please wait a moment." 0

He lightly knocked twice on the door and said, "Your Highness, Miss Xi Dream has arrived." 0

"Come in." I recognized the voice of Silver Moon Senior. The Male Ghost nodded slightly and left. I pushed open the door and walked inside. 0

It was a grand hall with tasteful furnishings. Silver Moon and Wild Ghost were seated on a sofa. I walked over to them. 0

"Please sit, Xi Meng." Silver Moon gestured to the sofa across from him, and I sat down without hesitation. 0

"How was it? Not as easy as you imagined, right?" Silver Moon looked at me. 0

"Well, it was quite difficult; the first stage was dangerous. Fortunately, I managed to pass it by sheer luck." As I said this, I couldn't help but laugh; if it weren't for Pure Sound, I would have probably failed several times. 0

"It is indeed challenging, but the rewards at the end will be significant. After all, Dream City isn't a place you can just enter whenever you want. How far did you get?" Huh? Didn't I just say I passed? 0

"I've already completed it." Was my hearing off? 0

"Uh... what? You said you completed it?" Silver Moon looked at me in disbelief, even the quiet Senior Ghost beside him trembled slightly. Was it really that exaggerated? 0

"Yes, I completed it. Is there a problem, Senior?" 0

"Hahaha, Wild Ghost, it seems we have lost. I remember it took me two tries to pass; you seemed to have done the same." After saying this, Silver Moon sighed and leaned back on the sofa. 0

"Actually, I was just lucky. I... um..." I wanted to explain that although I was a new Student, I had started cultivating in the human realm earlier; my level was inherently different from theirs, especially with Pure Sound's help. But I couldn't say that. 0

"Alright, you don't need to explain; strength speaks for itself. You have 40 points now, right?" Silver Moon asked. 0

"Yes, what are those points used for?" 0

"In the first layer, each stage is worth 10 points; an additional 10 points are awarded for completing it in one go. Unlike me and Wild Ghost who took two or more attempts without any extra rewards. In the second layer, each stage is worth 20 points; another 20 points are awarded for completing it in one go, and so on for a total of five layers. If you fail, no points are deducted; you can retake the failed stage directly next time. Wild Ghost and I just passed three layers after many attempts; it gets harder as you go further. As far as I know, only a few Supreme Lords can pass all five layers, so passing one layer in one go is already quite impressive." Silver Moon smiled lightly. 0

"What are those points for?" I still didn't understand what the points could be used for. 0

"Before leaving Dream City, there will be a list that can be exchanged for points. Those are rare treasures, so the points are very important. If you don't get what you want, or if you don't have enough points, you can choose to save them for next time. There is the Dueling Arena here, where you can earn points through duels. If you lose, you'll give all your points to your opponent, but of course, participation in duels is voluntary," Silver Moon said while glancing at the Wild Ghost when mentioning the Dueling Arena. He probably has a lot of points. 0

"Oh, I see. Thank you, Senior." 0

"It's not that simple, Xi Meng. When you're not in the illusion, try to stay in your lounge as much as possible. There are too many temptations here; you could easily lose all your points or even seriously injure your soul. That's all I have to say to you; remember my words." 0

"Okay, I will remember." I was really grateful to Silver Moon; many times he could have ignored me. In my opinion, he wasn't as cold as the rumors suggested. 0

"Senior, I'm going back to rest now." After saying that, I stood up and walked to the door. I couldn't help but turn back and say, "Silver Moon Senior, you're quite different from what I've heard; it's nice." I opened the door and walked out with a smile... 0

Silver Moon sat on the sofa in surprise, a hint of a smile appearing in his eyes. 0

"I've known you for so long and just realized you can talk quite a bit," the Wild Ghost's cold voice followed. 0

"Alright, are you jealous that they didn't say anything nice about you?" Silver Moon smiled at the Wild Ghost. 0

"Don't bother with me." The Wild Ghost also stood up. 0

If anyone familiar with these two were present, they would surely find it unbelievable—when did Silver Moon and the Wild Ghost become so close? They seemed quite familiar with each other. 0
