In a hazy state, I felt my body was rigid, unable to move at all. Struggling to sit up, I sensed a heavy weight pressing down on me, making it hard to breathe.

...I feel like I've really heard a joke, one that's so ridiculous.

"Will he wake up?"

After hearing this, Mosang instantly disappeared.
I picked up Bai Li and gently placed him on my lap, looking at this boy who seemed to be in a deep sleep, his face so clean, reminding me of the trust he once had in me.
