"Moon—" 0

"You've come." 0

Finally understanding a word, a glance spans a millennium. 0

Suddenly, I didn't know how to face him, this person I liked but was destined to have no future with. 0

"Do you remember what I said?" 0

Which sentence? I remember every single one. 0

"I said that if you didn't find me in this game, it would be expected." Silver Moon sighed. 0

In an instant, all my grievances and sadness surged within me, and I clenched my fists, trying hard to endure. 0

"But I never expected that you would actually find me." Silver Moon breathed a sigh of relief, his tone much lighter, revealing a hint of happiness. 0

I lowered my head, looking at the ring that Silver Moon had left behind before he departed. Its color had long faded; I had never had the courage to observe its change. 0

"You have me in your heart." 0

When Silver Moon uttered those five words, I could no longer suppress the bitterness within me. I cried out loud and ran to him, tightly embracing his cool body. 0

It was my fault; I should have done this long ago. This way, there would be fewer regrets. At least when I think back on it in the future, I can smile and say that I was once so happy. 0

"Shh, don't cry. At least not now. Isn't this a rare moment?" Silver Moon gently stroked my long hair and spoke softly. 0

At that moment, it seemed as if everything had come to a standstill. I didn't want anything else. The gentle breeze stirred, black and silver strands of hair intertwined, creating a rare warmth. However, I heard another meaning: cherish the present; when that day comes, it will be farewell. It turned out he knew too; he knew everything. 0

"When the day comes that I say I'm sorry to you, then you can shed tears... you can forget me—" 0

I didn't want to say anything; even less did I want to argue childishly. I just wanted to quietly stay with Silver Moon for a while and remember this feeling. 0

“Congratulations, little girl, you have gained our recognition,” said the Goddess of Fate. 0

“Thank you,” Silver Moon expressed on my behalf. 0

“Moon, this is also your time of rebirth, so forget the past and fulfill your mission.” 0

“Yes,” Silver Moon replied respectfully. 0

“The Dark Stone and Killing Intent are always too heavy; it will take some time for you to fully merge.” 0

“We will go there first, and after you completely merge with the Dark Stone, we will regroup,” said Anti-Sky. 0

Silver Moon pondered for a moment, her gaze never leaving me, and nodded, “Alright, let’s do that. Take care of yourself.” The latter part was directed at me. 0

“Are we separating again?” I asked. 0

“What? Can’t bear to part? Hehe, it won’t be long before I return to the team,” Silver Moon laughed. 0

“Who can’t bear it?” I muttered softly as I turned to leave. 0

“Hey, are you sure you’re just going to walk away like that?” Silver Moon said, pausing before continuing, “Don’t you have anything you want to ask?” 0

“I do,” I turned back around. 0

“Go ahead; we’ll wait for you here,” Anti-Sky smiled, stepping aside to give us space for a private conversation. 0

Without hesitation, Silver Moon took my hand and led me toward a door. When she opened it, it revealed a garden designed in an exceptionally luxurious manner. 0

As we strolled through it, my heart remained tense; I had many questions. 0

“Since we’ve come this far, do you know everything about me?” Silver Moon asked first. 0

"Yes." I nodded. 0

"So, are you afraid? Of me, this anomaly, this being that isn't even a creature." 0

"No, not at all!" I replied a bit too eagerly, which amused Silver Moon. 0

"I know you won't be afraid of me—" 0

"Because you would never hurt me." I softly added. 0

Silver Moon paused for a moment, then a fleeting smile appeared on his face. I swear no one could smile as beautifully as he did. Why hadn't I noticed it before? 0

"What do you want to ask?" 0

I hesitated about whether to voice my thoughts. 0

"Go on, I've noticed you have something to say." Silver Moon encouraged. 0

"I want to ask about the Wild Ghost." 0

Silver Moon didn't react much and quietly listened to me speak. 0

"What about the Wild Ghost?" 0

"What is he exactly? I just feel something is off about him; he's different from us." 0

"Heh, look at you saying that. Of course we're all different, including you. Who isn't an anomaly?" 0

"No, you don't understand. I feel that the Wild Ghost... he seems somewhat—dangerous." 0

"Dangerous?" Silver Moon asked in return. I really couldn't tell if he was pretending to be clueless or if he genuinely felt nothing. Of course, I didn't believe he was unaware. 0

"What does he have to do with magic?" Seeing that Silver Moon didn't want to answer, I directly asked. 0

Yin Yue's expression was off, and after a long silence, suddenly, he slapped my head and said, "What is your little head made of? What are you thinking about every day?" 0

"Hey! You—" I jumped back and covered my head. 0

What does Yin Yue mean by this? Is he still hiding something from me... 0

"I'm not hiding anything from you," Yin Yue said with a frown. 0

"Then what is it?!" I was a bit angry. 0

"This, you'll have to discover for yourself." 0

"It's always like this. Every time something happens, you all know about it, and I'm always left in the dark, being the last to find out!" 0

"Xi Meng." Yin Yue interrupted my rambling, his voice serious. 0

I instinctively quieted down and looked at him. 0

"The wild ghost is not a bad person; on the contrary, he is someone very important to me." 0

For some reason, when Yin Yue said this, there was a hint of sadness in his tone... 0
