The two of them looked at the Final Stage Four Evolved Tiger in front of them, unable to help but be amazed.
It was as robust as a buffalo, with a gray "king" symbol on its forehead. Its gray and white patterned fur made it look incredibly noble. Its limbs were thick, with sharp claws protruding from its toes, and its long, thick tail had gray rings, swaying like a steel whip.
The white mouth had long whiskers, exuding a majestic presence. Its body was streamlined, with solid and muscular build, radiating an endless sense of power.
At that moment, it was holding a Mutated Deer with a flattened head in its mouth, glaring intently at Xuan Mo and Liu You'er.
The animal's instinct warned it that the two creatures before it were dangerous!
Its intuition had always been accurate; although the two humans appeared weak, it still dropped the deer and let out a roar at them, watching them warily.
"This tiger is quite clever; it knows we pose a threat and is trying to intimidate us," Liu You'er remarked, glancing at Xuan Mo, who looked pleased. She rolled her eyes and turned her gaze back to the white tiger, crossing her arms.
"There can't be two tigers on one mountain; we don't need to look any further."
Xuan Mo stroked her chin thoughtfully as she gazed at the white tiger. Her brows furrowed tightly, revealing a hint of regret, yet she still charged at the white tiger.
Liu You'er quietly watched from the side without speaking or helping. The two horses had already rushed forward; the black one breathed fire while the white one exhaled ice. The coordination between the person and the two horses was perfect, requiring no assistance from her.
At that moment, fury blazed in the white tiger's eyes as it let out a loud roar. Golden light erupted from its body, forming a shield. The two horses were only at the early stage of Level Four, and they had to be careful not to injure Xuan Mo, so they couldn't break through the white tiger's defense.
Xuan Mo jumped beside the white tiger, iron claws appearing in her hands as she struck fiercely at its defenses.
"Smash!"
The iron claws shattered upon impact, surprising Xuan Mo with the strength of the white tiger's defense. These claws were made with special materials and incorporated Evolved Beast bone spikes; logically speaking, they should have been able to break through defenses below level five!

The white tiger's tail swung fiercely towards him, but he quickly dodged, stepping onto the tiger's tail and shouted at Liu You'er, "Aren't you going to help? How ruthless!"
Liu You'er yawned lazily and replied, "Just control it and kill it. Why should I waste my energy?"

Taking advantage of Xuan Mo's moment of distraction, the white tiger opened its big mouth to bite his head. However, just as it was about to snap down, it halted, blinking in confusion. It looked at Xuan Mo with puzzlement, then retracted its mouth and nuzzled against Xuan Mo like a large cat seeking affection.

Xuan Mo looked at her slender figure retreating and withdrew his gaze. In the next moment, the white tiger's head fell to the ground, its eyes still shining with confusion.
Sensing the smell of blood, Liu You'er involuntarily turned back to look at Xuan Mo. He had his eyes lowered, lost in thought. Then a golden core, the size of a glass bead, emerged from the tiger's brain, floating in the air before landing in Xuan Mo's palm.
"Sizzle~"
"Wow! You're committing murder!"
Xuan Mo stared at the pit beside him that was over three meters deep and shouted angrily at Liu You'er. Unfortunately, she ignored him and continued on her way.
Xuan Mo looked at the pit, his eyes glinting with an unknown light as he walked towards Liu You'er.
Just as he took a step forward, a small whirlwind lifted the tiger's corpse gently and placed it into the pit. The displaced earth was also gathered by the wind and quickly filled the pit as the body landed.
As night fell, the dense forest became pitch black. Fortunately, dappled moonlight filtered through the trees, preventing complete darkness. Additionally, since evolvers had excellent vision, seeing things was not difficult.
The two sat around the campfire in silence for a while. The atmosphere was tranquil; apart from the occasional snorts from their horses and the crackling of wood, there was no other sound.
Xuan Mo watched Liu You'er, who was pretending to doze with her eyes closed. The firelight illuminated her expressionless face, adding a touch of warmth to her demeanor.
"If you are only pretending to join the Doctor's camp, it is no different from seeking the tiger's skin. You can still withdraw now."
Xuan Mo's voice was magnetic, laced with temptation. He rarely spoke without his usual charming tone, which left Liu You'er feeling a hint of confusion.
The dark red pupils appeared even deeper under the firelight. She observed Xuan Mo's serious expression and replied earnestly, "I will not withdraw."
Xuan Mo's gaze darkened slightly as he looked at the resolute light in Liu You'er’s eyes, and he smiled helplessly.
"Those who love you would not want to see you like this."
Liu You'er’s pupils constricted as she watched Xuan Mo, who seemed lost in memories, surrounded by a sense of loneliness. She raised an eyebrow.
"What if you encountered something similar to what I did?"
Upon hearing this, Xuan Mo's aura of desolation vanished completely. A fierce killing intent radiated from his eyes as he glanced at Liu You'er and fell silent.
Indeed, giving up hatred sounds easy when spoken lightly.
The two fell into complete silence, with only the crackling of sparks breaking the stillness.
Liu You'er glanced at the clock; it was almost one in the early morning. A sense of vigilance flashed through her mind, but her face remained calm. She yawned and said she would rest for a bit before closing her eyes, allowing Xuan Mo to observe her. If he truly had connections with Wei Yuan, he should know her weaknesses; however, for now, she was still safe.
Xuan Mo studied Liu You'er with a furrowed brow. Suddenly, it seemed he heard something; he stood up from the ground and turned to look at the treetops in the dense forest, his eyes filled with concern. After confirming something, he cursed under his breath and shook Liu You'er’s shoulders vigorously.
Liu You'er was already feeling a bit drowsy; now being shaken unexpectedly made her shoulders ache painfully. Angered, she swatted Xuan Mo's hand away and was about to scold him when she heard a sound that made her freeze and focus on a shadow high in the forest.
A cold glint flashed in her eyes as she assessed the situation with an inscrutable gaze. Suddenly, her eyes widened, pupils shrinking to pinpricks as she looked at Xuan Mo in disbelief, only to see him nod gravely.
"Haha!!!"
Liu You'er let out a self-deprecating laugh, unable to comprehend her extreme bad luck in encountering Mutated Bats twice!
The first time was in the small forest near the base. She had just reached Level Four and discovered a small cave. After conducting a consciousness test, she found dozens of creatures inside. She threw a grenade in, and a swarm of Mutated Bats flew out.
Not only did they suck blood, but they also ate flesh.
Especially that sonic attack, it nearly drove Liu You'er to the brink of ecstasy. Fortunately, those Bats were only Second-Level at the time and relatively weak; with a sweep of her electric whip, she took down a bunch in less than ten minutes. Otherwise, her head would have exploded.
