"Ambush? Hah, what ability do you have that makes me want to ambush you?"
The cold tone and arrogant inflection left the onlookers momentarily stunned, all turning to look at the person who spoke.
It was a sunny day, the halo of light obscuring the newcomer’s face, revealing only a strand of white hair flying freely, exuding confidence, with a smile that was filled with mockery.
The similar scene caused Wang Luojie’s pupils to dilate, bringing him back to the day he first met Liu You'er.
The scenery along the road continued to retreat, leaving everything behind. It had rained just yesterday, and it was rare to see blue skies and fresh air. As he rolled down the car window and took a deep breath, his gaze was suddenly drawn to a "scene" in the distance.

He saw a man of average build being held by the arm in a painful grip by a girl who looked weaker than him. The crowd began to gather as she forcefully pulled an old-looking bag from the man's hand and returned it to an elderly person who was panting as they caught up.

The car slowly came to a stop, waiting for the Green Light to illuminate again.
He continued watching this scene, curious about what was happening and also about how the girl would look when she turned around.
The elderly man counted the money in his bag, relieved to find it intact. He expressed his gratitude but suddenly noticed two young thugs approaching from a nearby alley, holding iron rods. They appeared to be accomplices of the man who had been caught.
The elderly man clearly saw them and was startled. Just as he prepared to warn the girl, he saw her make a threatening gesture and move her lips twice. With a worried glance at her back, he turned and fled.
The crowd that had gathered around also tacitly dispersed, no longer lingering in place.
The green light turned on, and the car slowly started moving. Wang Luojie furrowed his elegant brows; he had always been taught not to meddle in others' affairs and not to engage in futile efforts.
"Be careful!"
A strange male voice came from the left lane. Liu You'er looked over, her eyes slightly surprised, her hair tousled by the wind, flying freely.
