At the riverbank
As Liu Yue arrived, he was met with a hellish scene; orcs were rampaging through the crowd, killing indiscriminately, and blood was everywhere.
His eyes turned red as he took in the sight, unable to believe that all of this was due to his sister. What had she experienced during the two years he had been unconscious?

The figure paused, silently turned around, covered in blood, with vacant eyes, yet he recognized her effortlessly.
"How could it be you?!"
Suddenly, he hesitated and asked, "What happened to your eyes?"
Unfortunately, she offered no response. She stood up quietly and continued eating the crimson object in her hands as she walked past him.
Upon closer inspection, he realized it was a human heart!
"Don't go!"
He grabbed her arm as she attempted to leave. A flash of silver light flickered on her neck, resting quietly on her blood-stained pale skin, causing his pupils to dilate involuntarily. The next moment, pain shot through his abdomen as he was kicked away, spitting out blood.
Yet he did not cry out in pain; his expression froze as he stared at the rigid face of the person before him, his gaze fixated on the small pendant around her neck.
Liu You'er seemed to sense his gaze on her necklace. She paused for a moment, tucked the pendant back into her clothing to hide it, patted her clothes as if calming herself down, then looked at him warily, contemplating whether to kill him or not.
"That necklace... how did it end up with you? I thought I gave it to my sister?"
However, his words received no response.

The two chuckled but then noticed a change in Serpent Woman's expression. One of them, more alert, quickly dodged, while the other turned in confusion and saw a hand swiftly plunge into his Heart.

Blood sprayed as the Heart was ripped out, and he fell to the ground stiffly.
"Ah~ Serpent Woman, no, I still..."
Then, the one who had dodged fell silent, becoming like the Lizardman.
"Ha~"
Serpent Woman looked at the frozen Liu You'er in front of her and sighed in relief, saying, "That scared me. I was careless and didn't even..."
In the next moment, she saw Liu You'er tilt her head in confusion, and then another stone sculpture was kicked to pieces by Liu You'er. Debris scattered everywhere, and then a sharp pain shot through her eyes, plunging her into darkness.
