Weird Species Multi-Faced Being forcibly detonated to enhance its own Mental Energy, seizing the last opportunity to control Dim Space, instantly transferring all the energy into Rek's body. 0

However, the soon-to-die Multi-Faced Man did not witness Rek turning into a fool. Inside Rek, it was as if there was an endless abyss, effortlessly devouring all of his frenzied Mental Energy and soul energy. It seemed that Rek was still not satisfied and began to consume the energy from the Dimensional Space Barrier. 0

"Impossible! What kind of existence are you? Is what you said true?" The Multi-Faced Man looked at Rek, who appeared unfazed, in terror. 0

"It might be true, or it might be false; I actually don't know. For you, the truth is no longer important. You can rest easy! I didn't expect you to cooperate so willingly and send all your energy over. I thought you would put up a final struggle or something," Rek said, looking at the gradually dissipating Multi-Faced Man. 0

As the Multi-Faced Man faded away, Rek's body acted like a vacuum cleaner, rapidly absorbing the energy from the Dimensional Space Barrier. Various souls that had previously been absorbed by the Multi-Faced Man into Dim Space, with countless faces filled with sorrow, anger, and resentment, were transformed into mental energy and devoured by the War God System. 0

During the energy absorption process, Rek felt a whirlwind of chaotic emotions stimulating his brain. Fortunately, the War God System that was parasitizing within him was incredibly powerful and greedy. To absorb more of this energy, the System quickly took over the absorption process, isolating Rek's soul. 0

This allowed Rek to narrowly escape madness. Even so, his face turned pale; had it not been for over ten years of experience surviving in a future where Alien Species thrived during an apocalypse, if he had been just an ordinary student before, he might have gone insane by now. 0

"System, have you absorbed enough energy for me to use my innate skills to create a clone? Once we get out, I want a clone when I have some free time," Rek weakly asked the War God System in his mind while looking at the disappearing Dim Space. The years of apocalyptic life had taught him that benefits must be secured to feel at ease. 0

"Yes, there is enough. However, this time the absorbed mental energy is somewhat violent. Although it has all been absorbed, the System needs some time to purify it. Moreover, not all of the absorbed energy can be given to you; the System will take eight parts for itself to repair itself. The War God System has previously suffered unknown damage and requires a large amount of energy for repairs," the cold voice of the System echoed in Rek's mind. 0

"What? You want to take eight parts? No way! I risked my life and ventured into danger only to receive two parts? What does your previous damage have to do with me as this current Host! How can you claim to be the most powerful combat support System in the universe when you treat your Host like this? Besides, I need to survive and become stronger continuously so that I can provide you with more opportunities for energy absorption so that you can recover faster. Three parts for you and seven parts for me sounds fair." 0

"Host takes three parts; System takes seven parts." 0

"Sixty-forty split, or I'll commit suicide. You can find a new Host." 0

"Sixty-four, that's the bottom line." 0

"Let's each take a step back, fifty-fifty split on energy. In the future, any energy absorbed will be split evenly. After absorbing the energy, you need to produce equivalent energy items as a Reward for me or directly enhance me. Only then will I have a chance to become a War God faster. If I get stronger quickly, your opportunities to absorb and devour energy will also increase exponentially," Rek continued negotiating with the War God System in his mind. 0

"Sixty-four is non-negotiable. The extra two layers of energy will be used for the tasks assigned by your War God System and Host series. If you want to commit suicide, you're just a cowardly Host. A War God has no place for the weak; the System will make you strong. If you choose to end it all, the System will make your existence worse than death, like being trapped under a mountain for five hundred years. What do you think about that, Host?" The cold voice of the War God System replied. 0

"You’re ruthless; fine, sixty-four it is," Rek cursed the War God System inwardly. 0

As the Dim Space faded away, Rek immediately fell to the ground pretending to be unconscious. Outside the classroom, members of the Star Alliance Special Forces kicked open the front door and sealed off the classroom, standing guard as they scanned the area. 0

Numerous detectors were deployed within the classroom but found no anomalies. 0

"Report to headquarters: only one unconscious examinee was found in the classroom; identity has been verified. Additionally, forty-nine examinees and two proctors are missing. No traces of Dark Space Aliens or spatial connection nodes were detected. 0

Preliminary judgment indicates that this spatial connection node has been severed from the Main Plane; Dark Space Aliens have hunted and abducted examinees and proctors, awaiting further instructions." 0

"Take the surviving examinee back to the military base for seven days of isolation and testing to see if he knows anything about Alien Species. Block any news of Alien Species' arrival and shift the responsibility for the disappearance of forty-nine examinees and two proctors onto an armed attack by the Anti-Star Alliance Government." The communicator responded. 0

The feigning unconscious Rek was placed into a specially designed Isolation Nutrient Recovery Chamber by the military for body testing and treatment. 0

Previously, Rek had walked for nine consecutive days before the exam, sustaining multiple hidden injuries and minor ailments. Under the high-concentration Recovery Fluid specially made by Star Alliance Military, he received treatment for all his conditions. 0

Comfortably soaking in the high-concentration nutrient solution that, according to legend, only the generals of the Star Alliance Military are qualified to use, Rek decided to take a good rest, as he had been exhausted these past few days. 0

Two days later, Rek woke up and began to answer inquiries from the Star Alliance Military. He feigned ignorance, claiming that he had fainted as soon as he arrived at the examination hall and knew nothing of what happened afterward. The previous surveillance device records indicated that Rek's physical condition was very poor, and once the classroom door closed, the surveillance device malfunctioned. His claim of fainting upon entering the examination hall was somewhat believable, considering that this ordinary boy had just spent two days in an Advanced Healing Recovery Chamber. The injuries that required two days of treatment in an Advanced Recovery Pod could be classified as life-threatening. 0

With the powerful War God System at play, the Star Alliance Military's existing technology could not detect any abnormalities in Rek's body. 0

Moreover, Rek's lack of knowledge about the Dark Space Alien's news and reactions was anticipated by the military investigators; it would have been strange if he had known. They reviewed Rek's file and discovered that he had applied to the Dark Dimension Super Soldier Academy, making him somewhat of a soldier. Thus, they decided not to pursue further inquiries and released him. 0

Before releasing Rek, the military sought to compensate for his seven-day detention, even though two of those days were spent treating his injuries. 0
